Florida GOP Creates Hilarious Parody Ad Against CA Gov. Gavin Newsom After Attacks on DeSantis

Florida GOP Creates Hilarious Parody Ad Against CA Gov. Gavin Newsom After Attacks on DeSantis (trendingpolitics.com)  "A Florida political action committee has created a few parody ads striking out at California Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom after he has launched numerous attacks against the state’s Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis.

"Back in the month of July, Newsom decided to start attacking DeSantis by taking out a bunch of ads in the state of Florida that criticized him over a number of different policies that he alleges encroach on free speech and hamper education in the state.

"The real question is why he’s worried about what’s happening in Florida when his state is still going down the crapper? Doesn’t he have his own issues to worry about? Is he maybe trying to prepare for a presidential race by getting involved in national politics or something?

"Who knows?

"During the ads, Newsom encouraged disaffected Floridians to pack up their stuff and head on over to California.". . .

DeSantis Exposes Soros' Plot to Corrupt America with 'Total End-Run Around Our Constitutional System'

“Legislatures make the laws, judges decide whether they’re consistent with the constitution. Prosecutors have no role in that. They don’t have the legal right, the constitutional right, to selectively enforce the law, or am I missing something?”

Trending Politics  "DeSantis joined Tucker Carlson on Fox News primetime on Thursday night to discuss the executive action and exposed how billionaire philanthropist George Soros is corrupting America with his financial support for radical district attorneys. Watch:". . .

What Are We Going to Do When It Happens Again? -

Tunnel Dweller leaves for California next week; my question is what will Gav The Gov do?

 Intellectual Takeout

. . .First, we can exercise prudence about any information we receive. We know now not to take any news—whether from a government agency or outfits like CNN—at face value until we check and double-check the source. . .

"Recently I ordered a copy of Naomi Wolf’s The Bodies of Others: The New Authoritarians, COVID-19 and the War Against the Human, and began the book the day it arrived.

"Like you who are reading my words, I lived through the lockdowns, the masks, the school and church closures, and all the rest of it. Nonetheless, The Bodies of Others is an eye-opener about the freedoms squashed or stolen from us during the pandemic. It is a blistering j’accuse of the politicians, corporations, tech companies, and international elites whose policies wreaked havoc and damage on societies around the world while often enriching themselves at the expense of the poor and the middle class.

"Interspersed in this account are Wolf’s personal experiences during those months when God-given freedoms like the right to assemble and the right to worship were gutted, often with little outcry from a cowed citizenry. On several occasions, she takes us into the enclaves of the people who made and supported these decisions, the wealthy and the powerful, and shows us firsthand the contempt they feel toward the average person.

"It’s also a powerful analysis of ways this ordeal of fear was inflicted on our country: the propaganda, the threats, the deliberately manufactured divisions between the vaxxed and the unvaxxed, the misinformation and outright lies put out by the government and the legacy media.". . .

Russia Says Ready To Discuss Prisoner Swap With the U.S. After Griner Sentence

We miss her angry scowl on MSNBC, but Joy Reid will celebrate it. TD

Why do we want to force her to live in a country she hates?

Now:  Russia Says Ready To Discuss Prisoner Swap With the U.S. After Griner Sentence (trendingpolitics.com)
. . .“There is a special channel that has been agreed upon by the presidents, and no matter what anyone says publicly, this channel remains relevant,” the Russian minister Sergey Lavrov revealed at a press conference. Responding to this, the Secretary of State Antony Blinken commented that Lavrov’s comment had insinuated that Russia was “prepared to engage through channels we’ve established, and we’ll be pursuing that.”. . .

Brittany Griner case: Kamala Harris needed to sit that one out - American Thinker

So much to no one's surprise, she was dragged, big, on social media. and not from fringe right-wingers, but generally from the left. After all, if it's O.K. for Kamala to sentence low-level drug offenders to long stretches in the can, why is it somehow "bad" if Vladimir Putin's courts do it?

At last, a governor stands up to Soros

DeSantis said Warren has had “a very very troubling record” since he came to office in 2016, with the assistance of left-wing billionaire George Soros’ campaign cash.

DeSantis Cans Progressive, Soros-Funded State Attorney Andrew Warren › American Greatness   . . .“The states and localities that have allowed this to happen, they are ruing the day. You know why people are moving to Florida? Because their communities are no longer safe, thanks to prosecutors who think they know better than the people’s representatives, and they get to pick and choose which laws they’re enforcing,” he added.
"DeSantis said that Warren had been basically elevating his own “personal sense of social justice over what the law requires” of him.
"Indeed, the Tampa Bay Times described Warren as “a frequent face touting progressive justice policies as Hillsborough County’s state attorney.”
"In June of 2020, Warren reportedly announced that he would not prosecute 67 people arrested during a George Floyd riot. “He did it again in July, proclaiming his office would prosecute a local teen who the FBI said hacked celebrity Twitter accounts and used them to steal Bitcoin,” the Times reported in a Nov. 2020 glowing profile.". . .

Meghan McCain Sobbed And Lactated on Air After Rude Joy Behar Comment That Caused Her to Leave ‘The View’

Decider  "During The Commentary Magazine Podcast, the former host explained that following the difficult birth of her daughter in 2020, Behar did not make her feel welcome when she came back from maternity leave.

"“I finally went back to the show and the day I went back to the show, Joy Behar said on air, ‘Nobody missed you, we didn’t miss you, you shouldn’t have come back,'” McCain said.

"She said she began hysterically crying and lactating on air before she went to her office, vomited, and called her brother who told her, “F these people, it’s not worth it.”

"In the end, McCain said she left because “I didn’t feel supported when I had my baby and I didn’t feel supported when I came back.”

"Earlier in the podcast, she explained that she only took the job because her father, late Sen. John McCain, “basically forced” her when he was sick because he thought it would be a “great, iconic job.' ”. . .

This anti-McCain video supports Behar as does the laugh track in the studio.

"McEnany: Ron DeSantis' email to 'The View' was brilliant"

" Fox News published this video item, entitled “McEnany: Ron DeSantis’ email to ‘The View’ was brilliant” – below is their description.

. . .In the end, the best thing to do is to turn off the TV or watch the reruns of "The Dick Van Dyke Show".   At least, Laura Petrie, and her neighbor Millie Helper, made a lot more sense when they discussed the problems of the world.  Laura and Millie made you laugh whereas Whoopi and Joy make you wonder about what's going on at ABC News.

Gov. DeSantis takes on George Soros

. . .Tucker Carlson’s opening monologue discusses how the Soros prosecutors are deliberately ignoring and perverting American law and explains how Gov. DeSantis’s actions are a great start to challenging this lawlessness:

DeSantis fires a Soros prosecutor and it’s glorious - American Thinker   "George Soros has been using his vast wealth, either directly or indirectly, to fund campaigns for hard-left prosecutors. Once in office, these prosecutors institute explicit policies that see them refusing to prosecute whole areas of criminal violations because the prosecutors disagree with state or municipal laws. People are finally starting to rebel. In San Francisco, voters booted out Chesa Boudin. In Los Angeles, the county is banning observers from the vote-counting process on the George Gascon recall. And in Florida, Gov. Ron. DeSantis just fired State Attorney Andrew Warren for failing to carry out his duties as a prosecutor.". . .

'This isn't about abortion or any one thing, it's about having accountability to our system of law and order to prosecute crime. There has been a pattern developing in Hillsborough County where one person picks and chooses which laws he wishes to enforce," DeSantis' office stated.

DeSantis Sacks Non-Prosecutor  - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

“I continue to work with my law enforcement counterparts who privately are frustrated with the state attorney, who seems intently focused on empathy for criminals and less interested in pursuing justice for crime victims,” Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister said at the press conference. Brian Dugan, the former Tampa police chief, was even more blunt, saying: “Andrew Warren is a fraud…. This is a terrible day, that the governor had to come and clean up our mess.”

What the Biden Administration Wrought in Afghanistan

. . .If China’s leaders doubt Biden’s credibility — and they have plenty of reasons to do so — they may believe they can get away with using force against Taiwan. The greatest crisis of the post–Cold War world may be upon us.

Tony Branco

What the Biden Administration Wrought in Afghanistan - The American Spectator | USA News and Politics   "We are approaching the one-year anniversary of the collapse of the U.S.-backed Afghan government and its replacement with the Taliban. The Diplomat’s managing editor, Catherine Putz, spoke with Justine Fleischner of Afghan Peace Watch about what has transpired since then. Fleischner’s account is a damning indictment of the Biden administration as human rights abuses accumulate in Afghanistan and transnational terrorist threats reemerge.

"Fleischner noted that the Taliban rule has wrecked an already fragile economy; denied women educational and employment opportunities, access to health care, and freedom of movement; and resulted in the abduction, torture, and killing of at least 500 former members of the Afghan security forces.

"Meanwhile, the Taliban have established diplomatic relations with China, Russia, Pakistan, and Iran. Fleischner said that the Taliban “maintain longstanding ties with a host of regional terrorist groups, including the Pakistani Taliban (TTP), Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan (IMU), and Kashmiri groups.” Al-Qaeda and ISIS-K are reportedly active within Afghanistan.

"According to Fleischner, the United States appears to lack any strategy for Afghanistan and “seems eager to move on from the botched evacuation effort.” The non-profit organization No One Left Behind, Fleischner noted, estimates that the administration left behind more than 160,000 Afghans who are eligible for Special Immigrant Visas. China, meanwhile, has provided economic support for the Taliban regime and is expected to include Afghanistan in its Belt and Road Initiative.

" 'The Taliban,” Fleischner said, “has clearly prioritized its religious and ideological agenda over the economy and the humanitarian needs of the Afghan people.”

"The Diplomat’s headline reads, “A year after the Taliban retook Afghanistan, economic collapse, human rights abuses, and terrorist threats loom large.”. . .

The alleged wannabe Kavanaugh assassin wasn’t just an ordinary guy

The alleged wannabe Kavanaugh assassin wasn’t just an ordinary guy - American Thinker

"When Nicholas Roske learned that Roe v. Wade might be overturned, he grabbed a kidnapping and murder kit and headed over to Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house, hoping to make Kavanaugh the first in a trio of Supreme Court justice killings. Thankfully, even though federal and state law enforcement did almost nothing (despite laws on the books) to protect justices from protests at their house (a perfect cover for Roske), Roske was caught in time. Now we’re learning that Roske isn’t just another crazy leftist: He's a crazy leftist who also thinks he’s a woman.

"Andy Ngo got hold of the Court documents in which Roske identifies as a woman named “Sophie”:". . .

. . ." In the above documents, Roske identifies himself as an “MtF” named Sophie—that is, a Male to Female transgender. Pathetically, he seeks a female “cuddle” friend because, despite being a “female,” he’s unable to create sexual friendships with men. Also, quite unsurprisingly, he says he’s “420 friendly,” which means he’s a pot user. Pot, of course, is increasingly associated with psychotic criminality of the type you’d see in a man who thinks he’s a woman and who announces that “I am shooting for 3” Supreme Court justices to “remove” from the Supreme Court.

"There is something very wrong with too many of our young people. They are raised in a world without moral anchors because traditional values, which are fixed have been replaced with virtue signaling and wokeness, which are constantly moving targets."

EMBARRASSING! Ayman al-Zawahiri Killed in Home of 'New York Times contributor

PJ Media  . . ."Significantly, the Times’ reporting on the killing of al-Zawahiri was stealth-edited to remove any mention of Sirajuddin Haqqani.

New York Post:

Now the Times is being accused of “stealth-editing” their reporting on the killing of al-Zawahri to remove details of the initial report specifically naming Haqqani.

“According to one American analyst, the house that was struck was owned by a top aide to Sirajuddin Haqqani, a senior official in the Taliban government whom American officials say is close to senior Qaeda figures,” the Times wrote in his initial reporting.

However, that paper axed that paragraph without an editor’s note and later replaced it with language that failed to name Haqqani specifically, as first pointed out by Pluribus editor Jeryl Bier.

“After the strike, members of the Haqqani network, a terrorist group that is part of the Taliban government, tried to conceal that Mr. Zawahri had been at the house and restrict access to the site, according to a senior administration official. But the official said the United States had multiple intelligence threads confirming that Mr. Zawahri was killed in the strike,” the Times wrote in the updated story.
