What Longstreet Understood About Grant That Lee Refused to Accept Until It Was Too Late

The Untold Story of James Longstreet & Ulysses S. Grant.

"At Appomattox Court House in April 1865, after four years of brutal Civil War, Ulysses S. Grant walked toward Confederate General James Longstreet and said one word: “Pete.” "A nickname from another life. Before the war. Before Gettysburg. Before the bloodshed. "But here’s the part history rarely tells: Longstreet understood Grant better than almost anyone in the Confederacy. He knew Grant long before the Civil War—through West Point, Jefferson Barracks, Mexico, and even Grant’s connection to Julia Dent. "When Grant came east in 1864, Longstreet warned Robert E. Lee that this Union general would be different. Grant would not stop. He would not retreat after setbacks like previous Union commanders. He would keep pressing until the Confederacy ran out of time, men, and options. "Lee didn’t fully believe it—until it was too late. "In this video, we explore the hidden friendship between Grant and Longstreet, the warning Confederate leaders ignored, the brutal Overland Campaign, Petersburg, Appomattox, and how the Lost Cause myth later punished Longstreet for being right."

"Grant‘s wife, Julia, wasn’t just nearsighted. She had strabismus - commonly referred to as cross eyed. Later in his career, she wanted to have surgery to correct it because she was feeling self-conscious. Grant told her to cancel it because he fell in love with her just as she was. I think this detail speaks to his character and genuine feeling." From the comments.

The Gospel of Jesse Duplantis: Irreverence, Fraudulent Theology and Carnality of Excess – The Righteous Cause

“Cash is king! The hundredfold works. ‘If I give $50 you mean God will give me $5,000?’ Yes! If you give $1000 in the offering this morning, will God give you $100,000 by tomorrow? Yes!”

Humiliated MS NOW Reporter Forced to Report From the Street After Trump Ban

"Additionally, Holder's team seized the records of reporters at Fox News and the Associated Press (AP). The AP reporters – 20 of them – had their phone records subpoenaed through their providers, something they claimed at the time was a “massive and unprecedented intrusion” into news-gathering operations."

Ali Velshi of MSNBC says nothing to see Here: Peaceful Protest

"An MS NOW White House correspondent was denied entry to the complex Saturday after her press badge failed at a security checkpoint. The episode came one day after President Donald Trump announced he was banning CNN, MS NOW, and Politico from White House grounds over what he called "fake news."

"Akayla Gardner, who has been covering the administration since August of last year and previously reported for Bloomberg News, said an officer told her the credential had been disabled and confiscated it.

She tried to enter despite knowing the President had announced the ban on her legacy media network. And although she made it through the first two gates to the grounds, the third was a different story.

"Once I was inside where we have magnetometers, I attempted to scan my badge, which we have to do in able to get into the White House grounds," she said. "It did not work. There was a red beeping light."

"And so the officer asked me to hand over my badge. He said that it was disabled. I asked why I was not able to get inside. He said it was above him," added Gardner.

The reporter explained that her producer got past the security apparatus, but she and a photographer had their badges confiscated.

"This is the first action we know of, of them actually denying us entry into the White House."

MSNBC allstars doing their form of "Journalism"

Massachusetts Mob Surrounds Lindsay Clancy Holdout Juror's Home Because He's Not One of Their Kind

How can one not believe in the power of evil? How satanic is the evil we saw in the Hamas videos of the Oct 7th? The support we are seeing for the actions of murderers who kill children with their bare hands? American young people cheering the murder of a businessman, of Charlie Kirk, of America's President?

PJ Media

"Desronvil isn't one of Massachusetts' own kind. He's the wrong color. And because he's the wrong color, Republican red, he's fair game to threaten, stalk, and commit violence against by the mob."

"Wait until CBS host Gayle King finds out the holdout Lindsay Clancy juror isn't only black — news that made the shocked Oprah buddy stop a blabbing juror long enough to tell her she needed to "sit with" the information for a second — but that they don't wear the same political team colors.

"Well, Gayle might have to lie down after these next revelations.

"We find out from a YouTube host and the holdout juror's own attorney that not only is the holdout juror, who came out of the shadows on Friday to tell the world his name — Michael Desronvil — an "American Hero and Champion of Justice [who] loves the United States of America as the greatest country in the world; cherishes our sacred Constitution as the pinnacle of human liberty; and supports our amazing leader, President Donald J. Trump, as a fellow defender of common-sense, liberty, and sanity." That's what his attorney tweeted out on Desronvil's behalf." . . .

Desronvil has — as expected — left town to hide out "at an undisclosed secure location in a rural area of Northern New England."

Bigots don't like people who aren't their own kind. Just ask Desronvil's fellow jurors.

The Lone Juror speaks out - J.R. Dunn    "The lone juror has come in from the cold to shine a much-needed light on the circumstances of the Lindsay Clancy trial, as well as certain media accusations that were tossed his way.

"Michael Desronvil went public only days after he was doxxed by Boston-area legacy media and nationwide social media.

"Desronvil was blunt in his response to the three jurors who misrepresented his stance during the trial, along with tacitly encouraging individuals attempting to track him down and expose him to ridicule and harassment. From his point of view, the majority of the female jurors were activists who “wanted her [Lindsay Clancy] found not guilty on Day 1.”

"None were interested in hearing his interpretation of the evidence presented in court, instead resorting to badgering and nagging. This is easy to accept after seeing their attitudes and rhetoric in the interviews released over the past week.

"Desronvil spoke out on Fugitive TV, a notable black political podcast. Host Ray Marcel talked with him on the phone for an hour, and stated that he was “very well spoken, very nice, very kind.” It was also revealed that, along with being a Catholic, Desronvil is a registered Republican. No wonder the feminist jurors lost their minds. (Asmongold commented, “Christ spent forty days in the desert. He spent forty hours with hags.”)

"The interview also straightened out a number of accusations thrown his way by media sources while he was incommunicado and unable to defend himself, in particular one insinuation that he was guilty of domestic violence. The truth is that after he was married, Desronvil learned that his wife had lied about her immigration status and was, in fact, an illegal. This put his own legal status in jeopardy, so Desronvil initiated divorce proceedings. It was only then that accusations of abuse began to fly, in a clear act of revenge. The case was later dismissed." . . .  More.

Transforming 9/11 Into Trump Derangement Syndrome

How the Islamic terrorist attack has become an argument about Trump.

The American Spectator

"The left in this country praises executive power when it is used for liberal purposes. When conservatives use it, however, it supposedly becomes dangerous. And when Donald Trump uses it, the sky is about to fall on American democracy."

Chat GPT

"Writing on the Foreign Affairs website on the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks by Islamic terrorists, two former Clinton and Obama administration national security officials claim that the war on terror that resulted from the 9/11 attacks led to the “unraveling of American democracy” in the form of the “authoritarianism” of the Trump presidency.

"Daniel Benjamin and Steven Simon both served in the State Department and on the National Security Council during times when the U.S. responded ineffectually to the growing threat of Islamic terrorism (Clinton presidency) and later when the U.S. simultaneously continued the war on terror while apologizing for America’s past sins in the Middle East (Obama presidency).

"It is no wonder that Benjamin and Simon ignore the flawed foreign policies they helped to formulate and implement and instead blame the Trump presidency for its efforts to undo the damage caused by his predecessors.

"Benjamin and Simon criticize the U.S. “fixation on Islamic terror,” which they claim “shaped a culture drenched in fear, as voices from politics, the media, civil society, and a swelling counterterrorism-industrial complex insisted that the country faced an existential threat.” Apparently, the authors believe that our Islamic enemies who have repeatedly killed Americans since at least 1979, if not before (as Norman Podhoretz pointed out in a series of articles in Commentary which were later collected into a book titled World War IV), and who 25 years ago attacked the American homeland, are a narrow group of extremists rather than the vanguard of what Samuel Huntington rightly called a “clash of civilizations.”

"They lament the rise of “Islamophobia” and anti-immigrant sentiment, especially pronounced, they claim, in the Trump presidencies. While praising some of the successes in the war on terror, Benjamin and Simon claim that 2016 was a “hinge” year when the focus of our efforts shifted from the external war on terror to the “other” war on terror at home — a war against Muslims and immigrants waged by the Trump administration.
