I gave my body for this country. I blame both parties for the rise of socialism

 Washington Examiner

. . . "Piker is one of the most despicable and vile American influencers on the planet but has been welcomed by the likes of Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY), House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), who have long ago violated their sworn oaths of office to uphold the laws of our country."

"I hold both the Republican and Democratic parties in contempt as an independent voter and 100% disabled combat-wounded Marine veteran for allowing the country I fought for in Vietnam to justify the existence of the radical socialist parties such as the Democratic Socialists of America.

"Under the “presidencies” of Barack Obama and Joe Biden that turned class against class, race against race, and state against state, I have nothing but disdain for them and their cohorts in crime that have given a foothold in our government to undesirable anarchists who want to destroy 250 years of our democracy.

"The passive Republicans didn’t stand their ground and use the laws under our U.S Code to defend “We the people” to stop the infiltration of our states that now have governors and mayors in positions of power that illegally spread their venomous country-hating ideology that denies all of us the right to live free and prosper.

"When it comes to voting, we now have left-wing states nullifying right-wing states because their un-American state leaders have prostituted our laws, allowing the charlatan socialists to exist and leaving citizens to live in fear and anxiety of losing their country. " . . .

The power-hungry Democrats have sold out our country, allowing every mentally crazed malcontent to live under their so-called “Big Tent” and using them as pawns in their quest to finish their destruction of what President Donald Trump built on our behalf.    More.

Scott Turner Gives the Data on How Socialism Kills American Homebuying Dream

 PJ Media

Turner previously estimated that about a fourth of the cost for a home in America now is "pure red tape." Instead of helping the housing affordability crisis, federal and state governments are fueling it.

"The Trump administration is making a concerted effort right now to provide data so that American voters can quantify the financial impact of socialist policies ahead of the midterm election. Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner in particular illustrated how socialism makes it impossible for most people to be homeowners.

"For centuries, being a property owner has been an integral part of the American dream. Even before there was an independent United States of America, immigrants were coming to this continent to escape the stratified class system and stagnation of upward nobility in European monarchies. Immigrants still come from around the world hoping to have their own homes someday. But socialism, like every other utopian system and every other ideology that leads to oligarchical tyranny, kills that dream of homeownership. Redistribution of property sounds wonderful to poor people, until they realize all that means is top government officials own everything.

"Below is Turner's post showing how universal rent control, government control of the economy, excessive regulation, and other socialist policies wreck the dream of homeownership — or even affordable rent. " . . .   More.

Stop treating Hollywood hot takes like Middle East expertise.

"BEIJING PAID THE BILL. JIHADIS WROTE THE SCRIPT. HOLLYWOOD SUPPLIED THE USEFUL IDIOTS"

Washington Examiner

"An Oscar, a Grammy, or a sold-out concert shows artistic achievement. It is not a credential in diplomacy, history, or Middle Eastern affairs. Fame does not mean expertise."

"On Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas-led militants broke through Israel's border and attacked communities in southern Israel, killing about 1,200 people and taking roughly 250 hostages. Most of those killed were civilians. Yet the years since Oct. 7 have highlighted another phenomenon: celebrities increasingly inserting themselves into one of the world's most complicated conflicts.

"The attack's brutality is well documented. A U.N. mission later found reasonable grounds to believe that conflict-related sexual violence, including rape and gang rape, occurred at several locations during the Oct. 7 attacks.

"Everyone is entitled to an opinion. Actors, singers, and musicians certainly have the same right to speak as anyone else. But fame does not give someone's political views greater authority, and a large audience is not the same as expertise.

"That distinction is too often forgotten.

"John Cusack, Roger Waters, Susan Sarandon, Cynthia Nixon, Mark Ruffalo, Macklemore, and others are among the prominent entertainers who have publicly criticized Israel or supported the Palestinian cause. Their celebrity gives them enormous platforms. But what particular expertise does being an actor or musician provide on the history, politics, and security of the Middle East? 'Nobody wants this' rabbi consultant calls Adam Brody 'ignorant' over Gaza comments   "Rabbi Steve Leder, who consulted on the first season of "Nobody Wants This," called out series star Adam Brody for his comments on the ongoing war in Gaza. According to Leder, Brody's "ignorance really showed," and the actor should "say nothing."

"In a recent interview with GQ, Brody was asked if he wanted to go on record with his thoughts about what's happening in Gaza, to which he responded: "Put me down as thinking it's a genocide. Put me down as wanting a free Palestine. It's awful that it's taken so much death and misery, but it does feel like it's reaching a breaking point that it should have a while ago." . . .

"And by the way, being so flippant about a word like genocide — 'Hey, put me down for genocide,' like you're asking for a table for two at Craig's — is disgusting," Leder continued. "Here's some technical advice: If you know nothing about something, you should say nothing about it." . . .

Put me down as flippantly calling these public figures being so high school. TD
