DeSantis' signing of transgender bill affirms that 'no surgery, no hormone treatment’ will change the fact that men can’t be women

Campus Reform  "On this week’s episode of the Campus Countdown, Campus Reform’s Addison Smith praised Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for signing a bill that will prevent men from competing in women’s sports.

"Speaking on the bill, DeSantis said at a Fox News townhall event, “I have a 4-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old daughter. They’re both very athletic. We want to have opportunities for our girls. They deserve an even playing field, and that’s what we’re doing."

"Smith applauded DeSantis for protecting women’s sports, citing that men, “have biologically, radically different height, weight and strength advantages,” and that allowing transgender athletes to compete in women’s sports is “demeaning to women.” 

"Smith then criticized the left’s outrage, saying that they aren’t even able to give a concrete definition of a woman.

"“The best definition that they give is that a woman is someone who identifies as a woman. But that’s like me saying, ‘a flower is that which is a flower.’ It’s a circular argument. The terms, ‘woman’ and ‘man’, mean something.. . .  '”

No apology: Yale releases lukewarm statement on speaker who said she dreams of shooting white people  "Dr. Aruna Khilanani, a New York-based forensic psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, gave a Grand Rounds lecture on April 6, titled "The Psychopathic Problem of the White Mind." Yale only addressed Khilanani's controversial statements yesterday, after Bari Weiss posted an audio recording of the session to her Substack.
