Nobody's Buying Cow Farts in These Parts

  HotAir

"For all the joy being peddled by Cacklin' Kamala and the Fascist Fabulist, they're not really all that "fun." For all the rewriting of contemporary history to wipe away those unsightly burps in their resumes that either frighten voters, anger them immensely, or cause such fits of hilarity that take some time to subside, Americans are all-too familiar with who Ms Harris is. And are constantly bewildered by the kaleidoscopic web of background stories available as her running mate's biography fills out...and out.

"They are both pretty nasty, shallow pieces of work who have gotten away with skating by on the mediocrity of their beings for so long that they would rather we didn't dwell on such trifles.

"There are pretty new facades being erected for us to ooh and ah at.

"What I mean by that is the shift we've seen in Harris's evolving positions, and not from years ago - some from as late as this past spring. You'll remember the 87K new IRS agents the Biden-HARRIS administration hired after Harris's tiebreaking vote in the Senate? Part of the justification for those bazillions of new agents was to go after people who weren't reporting tips." . . .

CLIMATE CHANGE IS SO EXTREME WE HAVE TO BE ABSOLUTELY SILENT OR WE GET OUR ASTERISKS HANDED TO US  "That's a winning message there.

"And trust democrats, lunatic fanatics for control that they are, NOT to take the hint from the electorate that their climate policies are overreaching insanity based on pseudo-science and Green grifting fever-dreams.

"No, oh, Heavens, no.

"What Democrats and progressives take from those warning signals are to curl into fetal balls and hope the storm passes by, so they can emerge and inflict more pain on the country should they prevail in November.

"Oh, if they can only keep their yaps shut for another 70 days or so.

"Well, their partners in the grift aren't helping things one bit.

"It's not bad enough that the Eat the Bugs cabal is still agitating to take the meat off of your plate. As they can't do that immediately, in the interim, the same people who spaz about genetically modified grains want to genetically dicker with cattle so they don't fart.

Having Hamas for neighbors can really suck

So many Jewish people wanted to live in peace with a two-state solution. Not so much now after Gazans' thorough devastating visit to their Israeli neighbors' homes and lives. TD

Through immersive footage, the aftermath of the terrorist rampage that claimed many lives and inflicted widespread chaos unfolds. This short film is a testament to the community’s unimaginable loss and to the harrowing echoes of an event that forever altered the landscape of Kibbutz Be’eri and all of Israel."

Israel Again Destroys Slanderous Claims of 'Apartheid' and 'Genocide'  "Israel, the Jewish State labeled “apartheid” by its enemies, just sent Jewish soldiers to rescue an Israeli Muslim from Muslim captivity. That tells you all you need to know."

RFK, Jr. Denounces Totalitarianism That Drove Him Out Of Democratic Party

The media is silent on Kennedy's words; their only emphasis is the attacks on RFK for supporting Trump. TD

 William A. Jacobson (legalinsurrection.com)

"My take: “It really was a watershed moment, potentially, in how people look at what is happening in our politics and the reality that a lot of us have come to, that there is such a deep corruption that it is almost impossible to have a fair election anymore.” W.A.J.

"Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.’s statement today was dramatic and poignant, but also sad, in calling out the primary rigging, lawfare, and manipulation that forced him out of the Democratic Party and off ballots, and installed Kamala Harris as nominee without any voting process.

"Here’s an excerpt:

“It ran a sham primary that was rigged to prevent any serious challenge to President Biden. Then, when a predictably bungled debate performance precipitated the palace coup against President Biden, the same, shadowy DNC operatives appointed his successor also without an election they installed a candidate who was so unpopular with voters that she dropped out in 2020 without winning a single delegate. My uncle and my father both relished debate. They prided themselves on their capacity go toe-to-toe with any opponent in the battle over ideas. They would be astonished to learn of a Democratic party presidential nominee who, like Vice President Harris, has not appeared in a single interview or an unscripted encounter with voters for 35 days. This is profoundly undemocratic.”

"And another:

“What most alarms me isn’t how the Democratic Party conducts its internal affairs, or runs it candidates. What alarms me is the resort to censorship and media control, and the weaponization of the federal agencies. When a U.S. President colludes with or outright coerces media companies to censor political speech, it is an attack on our most sacred right of free expression, and that’s the very right upon which all of our other constitutional rights rest.” . . .

. . ." HUGE!!!!!!! Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg Finally Admits Biden-Harris Regime Pressured Him to Censor Millions of Americans — ‘Regrets’ Colluding with the Regime!

 Infidel Bloggers Alliance

"However, Zuckerberg now admits that this was a grave mistake, as the story was not Russian disinformation, and the decision to demote it was influenced by government pressure." (Emphasis mine, TD)

"Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg is now trying to save himself from the controversial relationship between his company and the Biden-Harris regime.

In a letter addressed to House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan, Zuckerberg throws the Biden-Harris regime under the bus.

He openly admitted that Meta, the parent company of Facebook, was subjected to relentless pressure by the Biden administration to censor content related to COVID-19, even when the content was satirical or humorous, and the infamous Hunter Biden laptop.

Adam Schiff
The Meta CEO allegedly expressed deep ‘regret’ for not being more vocal in resisting the government’s demands, stating that “government pressure was wrong,” and he now recognizes that his company should have been more outspoken about the administration’s overreach.

"In the letter, Zuckerberg detailed how senior officials from the Biden administration, including the White House, exerted consistent pressure on Meta’s teams to remove or suppress content that did not align with the regime’s narrative on COVID-19.

"This included posts that were clearly humorous or satirical.

"Zuckerberg’s letter also revealed another explosive detail: Meta’s decision to demote the New York Post’s bombshell story on the Biden family’s corruption in the lead-up to the 2020 election." . . .

UPDATE: Zuck: Yeah, Biden Pushed Us to Censor COVID Info – HotAir   . . ."Take note of the way that Zuckerberg says that he regrets complying "with certain demands." Not all of the demands, mind you. Just certain ones. Would Mr. Zuckerberg care to be a bit more specific about the items falling into each bucket? I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for that to happen. He concludes by saying that things will be different going forward if the government makes similar requests.

"The government-requested censorship primarily falls into two categories here. One deals with supposed "misinformation" related to the government's response to the COVID pandemic. That was almost certainly the worst and potentially did the most damage. Anyone, including prominent virologists and other doctors who expressed the slightest skepticism over the early testing of the new mRNA vaccines, had their content "suppressed." . . .

Dan Quayle's only crime was misspelling potato

  Don Surber (substack.com)

. . ."He had more experience than Obama, but Obama was only running for president. Like Walz, Quayle served in the National Guard. A press that praises Walz for his National Guard service acted scandalized by Quayle’s." . . .

"As I watch the flamboyant antics of the marvelous Tampon Tim Walz skipping across the world stage to the seal-clapping applause of an idiot media, I recall how the media covered Dan Quayle, whose only crime was misspelling potato.

"He didn’t launder campaign money through Buddhist monks unlike Al Gore.

"He didn’t own a large hunk of a company that benefited directly from a war he promoted unlike Dick Cheney.

"He didn’t collect bribes from foreigners through his son, daughter and brothers unlike Joe Biden.

"And he certainly didn’t boast about fighting in a battle that he snuck out of — unlike Not A Command Sergeant Major Timmy Walz.

"No, Quayle was a decent fellow who struck fear in the hearts of Democrats for being young, good-looking and Republican.

"The fear was not 4 more years of Reagan under George H.W. Bush; it was 16 after 8 years of Bush followed by 8 years of Quayle. The press cheered when Senator Lloyd Bentsen told Quayle in a vice presidential debate, “Senator, I served with Jack Kennedy. I knew Jack Kennedy. Jack Kennedy was a friend of mine. Senator, you're no Jack Kennedy.”

"This came after Tom Brokaw asked Quayle three times if he was experienced enough to take over as president.

"Quayle finally said, “I have far more experience than many others that sought the office of vice president of this country. I have as much experience in the Congress as Jack Kennedy did when he sought the presidency. I will be prepared to deal with the people in the Bush administration, if that unfortunate event would ever occur.' ” . . .

Campus Stupidity, Useful Idiots, American Decline

  Lev Topor (timesofisrael.com)

. . ."The first one being demoralization. It takes from 15 to 20 years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years which requires to educate one generation of students in the country of your enemy, to be exposed to the ideology of the enemy." . . .

"Antisemitic expressions, calls to take action against Jews and pro-Jewish or pro-Israeli students, faculty members and visitors, have raised concerns among Jewish students and mainstream “sane” people in the United States after pro-terrorist movements like the Students for Justice in Palestine or Samidoun have begun protesting against Israeli self-defense actions in Gaza, following the deadly 7 October terrorist attack by Hamas. The recent protests on American university campuses, which have recently escalated to oppose university management, and even to occupy entire parts of university campuses and clash with law enforcement, are in a dangerous direction towards violence. Unless suppressed drastically, these self-proclaimed “peaceful” protests will lead to the radicalization of many students, and some of them are likely to act violently against Jews in the near future.

"Such demonstrations and organizing are not spontaneous and are likely organized by state actors who benefit from chaos in the United States. Such could be, as it has already been seen before, Russia, Iran, Qatar, and China. Whomever it may be, they sponsor and support antisemitic and pro-Palestinian organizations directly and indirectly by providing ideological, moral, technical, organizational, and even financial support to groups like the Students for Justice in Palestine or Samidoun. Those students who follow these groups and demonstrations which are by now may be referred to as riots, are ivy-league nurtured “useful idiots” who wrongly believe that Israel and/or the Jewish people suppress Gaza and the Palestinians. They are home-grown terror sympathizers playing a role in an international game of chess, played by antisemitism and hate. For this, they are indeed useful. What makes them “idiots” is the fact that most are students who are supposed to be educated by the seemingly best Universities in the United States. They are idiots because they fail. This is not education, and they are being used." . . .

Intellectual heft: Kamala Harris puts out ad against Trump, adding only chicken noises

So very high school; just like Chris Coons bringing Kentucky Fried Chicken to a hearing that Attorney General Barr did not attend. Eating the chicken and faking the trembling angry voice was a nice effect. TD

Monica Showalter - American Thinker  Giggly Kamala Harris has always had a problem with people thinking she was stupid, a lightweight, a ditz, a non-thinker.

"After all, she was the daughter of a Stanford professor, but somehow she couldn't get into that school, even with affirmative action.

"And she got her start in politics at Willie Brown's knee, so to speak. It wasn't her brains she was selling when she 'dated' Willie.

"She's since done her best to dodge reporters and avoid interviews, doing only an informercial or two with her running mate, Tim Walz, and not releasing any policy programs.

"But her minions aren't doing nothing, particularly on matters of getting her campaign message out to voters. They released this campaign ad whose sole added content was chicken noises."

 "No script, no explanation.

"I guess they were trying to mock President Trump, but the idiocy of the entire thing could only make one think that chicken noises are what passes for intellectual thought from the Harris camp.

"Seriously, what was that about?" . . .

It's actually pretty ironic. Because even as they mock him with animal sounds, they actually do steal his policy ideas, which they have done on more than one occasion, and offer them up as their own. That tells us a lot.

But what's left here in lieu of policy ideas is chicken noises.

What Have We Liberals Done to the West Coast?

What Have Progressives Done to the West Coast? - The New York Times

"As Democrats make their case to voters around the country this fall, one challenge is that some of the bluest parts of the country — cities on the West Coast — are a mess.

"Centrist voters can reasonably ask: Why put liberals in charge nationally when the places where they have greatest control are plagued by homelessness, crime and dysfunction?

"I’ll try to answer that question in a moment, but liberals like me do need to face the painful fact that something has gone badly wrong where we’re in charge, from San Diego to Seattle. I’m an Oregonian who bores people at cocktail parties by singing the praises of the West, but the truth is that too often we offer a version of progressivism that doesn’t result in progress.

"We are more likely to believe that “housing is a human right” than conservatives in Florida or Texas, but less likely to actually get people housed. We accept a yawning gulf between our values and our outcomes." Yet this NY Times writer is a soulmate of Democrats...

Secret Service Agents Shove Civilians Out of the Way As Joe and Jill Continue Endless Vacation

. . ."We’re in a dangerous time, when we don’t seem to have a functioning commander-in-chief. Our enemies are fully aware that our compromised, permanently off-duty president is not up to the job. Meanwhile, it’s fun to poke fun at Kamala Harris’ endless cackling and laugh-out-loud word salads, but on a more somber note, she has consistently proven that she is not ready for the position. No foreign leader is going to take her seriously; Russian strongman Vladimir Putin and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping are probably laughing in their boots at the thought of any confrontation with her. As clear-eyed, cold-hearted realists, they are more than aware that simply repeating “joy” and “happiness” does not a foreign policy make.

"The Democrats, led by their sniggering standard-bearer Nancy Pelosi, have engineered a coup, ousted a sitting president, and installed their preferred candidate. They may be craven and devious, but they either purposefully or by accident forgot to account for one thing: we need a competent leader in the White House during these dangerous times."

Court Grants RFK Jr Standing in Censorship Case Against Biden Administration

 Anthony Gonzalez (resistthemainstream.com)

"Shortly before endorsing the former president, Kennedy held a press conference, where he issued a scathing rebuke of the Democratic Party, accusing it of waging “continual legal warfare against both President Trump and myself.'”

"In a major win for former independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a district court has ruled that Kennedy and his charity, Children’s Health Defense (CHD), can rightfully sue the Biden administration for allegedly working with Big Tech to censor their social media posts.

"The Louisiana district court’s ruling comes after the Supreme Court, in a 6-3 majority vote, struck down a similar injunction in Murthy v. Missouri, ruling that plaintiffs lacked standing because they did not present sufficient evidence that the government engaged in unlawful actions.

"In Murthy v. Missouri, the Supreme Court delivered a blow for the plaintiffs — two states and five social media users — who argued that the Biden administration was engaging in online censorship.

"However, in Kennedy’s case against the federal government, U.S. District Judge Terry Doughty — a Trump appointee — ruled that the former independent presidential candidate and his “anti-vaccine” charity met the criteria for standing.

" 'The Court finds that Kennedy is likely to succeed on his claim that suppression of content posted was caused by actions of Government Defendants, and there is a substantial risk that he will suffer similar injury in the near future,” Doughty wrote in his decision." . . .

Jim Acosta Makes Disgusting Attack on Trump for Honoring Soldiers Killed During Afghanistan Withdrawal

Jeff Charles; RedState  Such a sad state at CNN if Jim Acosta is the best they have. TD

"The former president did slam the Biden administration in a post on Truth Social on Monday, referring to the withdrawal as “the most EMBARASSING [sic] moment in the history of our Country.' ”

"CNN’s Jim Acosta sunk to a new low during an interview on Monday in which he lashed out at former President Donald Trump for honoring the 13 service members who lost their lives during the Biden administration’s botched military withdrawal from Afghanistan.

"While interviewing Rep. Jason Crow (D-CO), he suggested Trump was politicizing the service members’ deaths by showing up to place a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery for the victims of the Kabul airport terrorist attack on the anniversary of the tragedy.

"Acosta started by bringing up deceptive claims that Trump referred to deceased veterans as “suckers” and “losers.”

“ 'You’re a former army ranger. Is he politicizing these soldiers’ deaths? Should he even be at Arlington National Cemetery if he’s going to make some politics out of this?” Acosta asked the lawmaker.

"Crow responded, lamely defending President Joe Biden’s handling of the withdrawal."

"Cheryl Rex, the mother of one of the fallen Marines, recalled a disturbingly callous interaction with President Biden where he appeared to make the tragedy about himself, equating the loss of her son to that of his own son, who died of cancer."

Cheryl Rex, mother of Lance Cpl. Dylan Merola: "When [Biden] approached me, his words to me were, 'My wife, Jill & I, know how you feel. We lost our son as well and brought him home in a flag draped coffin.'" "My heart started beating faster & I started shaking, knowing that their son died from cancer & they were able to be by his side." "How could someone be so heartless to say he knew how I felt."

Kamala learned how she can destroy a life with a swipe of her pen. What would a free and independent press do when that happened? Well...what did the press do when that was done to Donald Trump?

"As DA and AG, Harris was also criticized for defending convictions in cases where there was evidence of innocence and prosecutorial misconduct; opposing legislation to require AG investigations into police shootings; defending the prison system in civil rights litigation, as the state’s top lawyer and clashing with sex worker rights’ groups. She declined to seek the death penalty as SFDA, but then as AG fought against a challenge to capital punishment." . . .

Attorney General Kamala Harris Was Even Worse Than You Think  (thebulwark.com)  "Anyone interested in justice was entitled to feel a Chris Matthews thrill up their leg when Tulsi Gabbard went after Kamala Harris for her record as state attorney general at the Detroit debate.

"Gabbard pointed out that as California’s AG, Harris refused to allow DNA testing that would’ve exonerated a death-row inmate and prosecuted more than 1,000 marijuana cases—though as a candidate she later laughed with a radio host about her own pot-smoking past.

"But that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to Harris’s tenure.

"There’s the case of Daniel Larsen. After 11 years of incarceration, a federal judge ruled that he was innocent. Harris kept him in prison for two more years while she appealed this decision on a technicality: She argued that Larsen hadn’t provided proof in a timely manner.

"This was not her only bad conduct with regard to wrongfully convicted citizens." . . .

Nichols wrote that “The sense of disappointment and distress conveyed by the court is so palpable, because it recalls no instance in experience over forty-seven years as an advocate and as a judge in which the conduct of the attorney general’s office so thoroughly departed from the high standard it represents.” The office the judge was talking about, of course, belonged to Kamala Harris. (Emphasis added by TD)
