"Consider Biden’s choice of running mate: Kamala Harris. Harris’s political persona was as mostly as a ruthless prosecutor. “She is a dead-on prosecutor,” Harris’s political mentor Willie Brown wrote in her first months in the Senate, “and when she goes into that mode, watch out. She is out for blood.”
"Her failed 2020 presidential campaign, which was the audition for her vice president role, was explicitly about prosecuting “bad” guys.
"Then consider the Biden administration’s overzealous prosecution of pro-lifers, part of their outreach to their abortion-supporting base.
"Recall the Left’s bizarre infatuation with prosecutors Robert Mueller and Jack Smith.
"Also, consider the mania of liberal politicians calling for the jailing of Kyle Rittenhouse, who quite obviously acted in self-defense when he shot three different people who seemingly were trying to kill him.
"Delegations to the Egyptian-hosted hostage negotiations left Cairo on Thursday night after talks collapsed. A member of the U.S. delegation led by CIA director Willian Burns briefed reporters that the talks failed “due to Israel’s operations in Rafah.”
"Under normal circumstances—circumstances that would see the United States siding with Israel in its demands for the release of all hostages, as well as the eradication of Hamas’s forces and its regime of terror—such a statement could easily have been interpreted as supportive of Israel’s operation in the southernmost part of the Gaza Strip, where terrorist strongholds still function.
"Israel made an offer to Hamas that U.S. Secretary of State Tony Blinken praised as “incredibly generous.” Hamas rejected it completely, so Israel renewed its offensive entering Rafah. Nothing weakens Hamas’s negotiating position more than defeat. And now, having rejected the deal, Hamas can only expect a much worse offer from its perspective whenever talks are renewed.
"Unfortunately, that isn’t what the U.S. announcement meant at all. It meant that the Hamas and the U.S. positions are in complete alignment. This isn’t new information. The fact that the United States, like Hamas, views the hostages as a means to force Israel to capitulate to Hamas’s demands—including ending the war with Hamas victorious, leaving more than 100 held captive behind in Gaza and thousands of terrorists freed from Israeli prisons—became clear last Saturday.". . .
"The American political landscape has been rocked by what many are calling a travesty of justice. After a contentious trial, widely regarded as politically motivated, the jury returned a guilty verdict on all 34 counts against President Trump.
"Shortly after the verdict was announced, President Trump’s official website was updated with a bold and defiant message: “BREAKING NEWS: I’M A POLITICAL PRISONER!”
"According to the fundraising email:
I was just convicted in a RIGGED political Witch Hunt trial: I DID NOTHING WRONG!
They’ve raided my home, arrested me, took my mugshot, AND NOW THEY’VE JUST CONVICTED ME!
But with your support at this moment in history, WE WILL WIN BACK THE WHITE HOUSE AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
Crooked Joe Biden needs to get the message – right here, right now – that his chances of a 2nd term END TODAY!
Will the Trump Verdict Have Much Effect on the 2024 Election? New Poll Says No.. . ."A guilty verdict - which, as we see, is the case - 67 percent of registered voters say it will make no impact, while 17 percent say they will be less likely to vote for Trump; fifteen percent say they will be more likely to vote for him. This is a statistical wash; although we should note that this poll was taken before the verdict, when all this was hypothetical. At the moment, though, the only indicator we have is that this verdict won't have much effect.
"As for the impact of a not-guilty verdict - well, there's little point in discussing that now.
"There are a few likely outcomes of all this that we can predict right away, though:
"Joe Biden - or rather, his handlers - have the reason they need to pull out of any presidential debates now. Biden can swell up and pontificate that he's not going to debate a "convicted felon," and Democrats will line up to bark and clap like trained seals; this works to the Democrats' advantage, as any debate performance by the clearly-impaired president was bound to be a disaster.
"Donald Trump (and this is a guess, but I think it's a pretty good one) will suffer some see-sawing in the polls for a few days, but will continue slowly gaining ground, as he has been doing in recent weeks.
"If Donald Trump does win the election, which is perfectly possible as there is nothing in the Constitution prohibiting a convicted felon from running for or being elected president, the left will use this verdict as a reason to screech "Illegitimate President" for four years."
But in a Biden second term, there will be no guardrails. The administration’s decision to abandon Jerusalem and side with its enemies is a terrible development. But the fortuitous timing allows Israel and the American people to minimize the damage in the coming months, and, if Biden is denied a second term, over the next four years.
The Biden-Harris campaign has released a statement after a jury returned its verdict in Donald Trump's Manhattan criminal trial. Given that Joe Biden's son is facing federal criminal charges in two jurisdictions and goes on trial next week, the statement itself is completely asinine and tone deaf.
It reads:
“In New York today, we saw that no one is above the law.
“Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain. But today’s verdict does not change the fact that the American people face a simple reality. There is still only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: at the ballot box. Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for president.
“The threat Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater. He is running an increasingly unhinged campaign of revenge and retribution, pledging to be a dictator ‘on day one’ and calling for our Constitution to be ‘terminated’ so he can regain and keep power. A second Trump term means chaos, ripping away Americans’ freedoms and fomenting political violence – and the American people will reject it this November.”
"A second Trump term means chaos? More chaos than we already have? We already know what a Trump presidency means and chaos is not what we experienced during the first three years of Trump's presidency. The only "chaos" from 2017 through early 2020 was due to sham impeachment hearings by the Democrats - sham hearings that were a fitting prelude to the institutionalized lawfare Trump's been subjected to since Democrats knew he was coming back as the GOP's 2024 nominee.
"It really takes some stones for Joe Biden to say "Donald Trump has always mistakenly believed he would never face consequences for breaking the law for his own personal gain" given the indictment against Hunter Biden and everything the IRS whistleblowers testified to last year, when they said they were not allowed to pursue any leads that could eventually reveal evidence that Joe Biden committed a crime.
"President Biden was slated to deliver remarks from the White House after the verdict was released, but has postponed those remarks."
“ 'First of all, let me say this,” Biden spokesman Michael Tyler shouted over Trump supporters taunting the Biden campaign. “First and foremost, we are not here today because of what is going on over there,” Tyler continued, motioning toward the courthouse. “We are here today because you all are here,” he said, motioning to the assembled press.
"But the only reason the press were there was the spectacle of the Trump trial, a trial Biden’s White House has more than happily supported with snide remarks about Trump’s required presence in the courtroom. Tyler then added to the absurdity of the spectacle by introducing a masked Robert De Niro, who claimed Trump “wants to destroy not only this city, but the country, and eventually, he could destroy the world.”
"The farce of Biden’s courthouse campaign press conference has been more than matched by Bragg’s preposterous arguments in the courtroom. Trump is charged with falsifying business records by causing his accountants to label payments to lawyer Michael Cohen as legal expenses rather than something else. The prosecution has not, however, given any guidance on what an accurate description of the payments would have been." . . .

"Photos showing vast spaces of emptiness at the Philadelphia rally began to circulate on Wednesday fromNew York Postreporter Steven Nelson.
“Photos from President Biden’s Philadelphia rally: the school’s gym is only about half full of supporters A good amount of space is empty and spacious press workspace takes up the rest,” Nelson noted on X.
The Judge overseeing President Trump’s New York trial has broken numerous judicial standards that his behavior should lead to his disbarment. Judge Juan Merchan’s bias against President Trump is indisputable. Any “reasonable” person can spot it. We go through each of his missteps, mistakes, and deceitful decisions aimed at swaying the jury to convict.
"His behavior is so outside the bounds of standard judicial conduct that he is guilty of not just ethical violations, but he clearly has violated Donald Trump’s constitutional right to due process.
"That violation could lead the U.S. Supreme Court to step in. In this podcast, I lay out the exact New York Statutes that prove Judge Juan Merchan’s official misconduct." . . .
National Review (msn.com)"Less than two weeks before Hunter Biden is set to go to trial for felony gun charges, his father, President Joe Biden, paid a visit to one of the upcoming trial’s key witnesses.
"Last night, Joe Biden visited his daughter-in-law Hallie Biden, the widow of Beau Biden and ex-girlfriend of Hunter Biden, according to the White House poolreport. Beau Biden was deployed to Iraq and it is Memorial Day weekend.
The president does not appear to be distancing himself from his son as the criminal trial is set to get underway. Joe Biden’s visit to Hallie Biden follows a state dinner held by the White House last week with Hunter Biden and Attorney General Merrick Garland on the guest list.
Garland is responsible for appointing special counsel David Weiss, who is leading the prosecution of Hunter Biden. The younger Biden’s attorneys have unsuccessfully sought to dismiss his gun charges based on arguments that Weiss is unlawfully appointed and selectively prosecuting Biden, even though Weiss’s boss is an appointee of Biden’s father.
Three of Hunter Biden’s exes, including ex-wife Kathleen Buhle and Hallie Biden, are expected to testify about Hunter’s drug addiction at his gun trial beginning next week, the New York Post reported based on the prosecution’s trial brief filed last week. The women are not named in the court filings, but they are identifiable based on data from Biden’s abandoned laptop, Biden’s memoir, public reports, and other available records.
"One of the biggest assists that Joe Biden got from mainstream and social media in 2020 was the brutal effectiveness with which they swept the news of his boy Hunter's laptop under the rug. In fact, they insisted that it wasn't even real. If any of us in conservative media dared mention it, we were silenced and de-platformed. Even the New York Post got booted from social media for having the audacity to publish the very real news about it.
"Whether it would have changed anything is impossible to know now, but the unmitigated sleaziness of Hunter Biden might have been off-putting to those soccer moms who flocked to his daddy in that election.
"Even Joe Biden's Department of Justice head goon Merrick Garland couldn't keep Hunter away from a reckoning, although he did try. Victoria wrote the other day that the formerly fake laptop is so real that it's going to be evidence in his gun trial.
"The judge in that trial ruled that many aspects of Hunter Biden's wilder days couldn't be discussed. Well, one of them is going to get some airtime later this summer. " . . .
If ultimately successful, the Greater Idaho movement would redraw the state border 200 miles to the west, reducing the geographical size of Oregon by around 70 percent. Idaho would gain every county east of the Oregon Cascades and grow in size by a whopping 80 percent.
"The Greater Idaho movement might be the most tangible and effective political rebellion taking place today in America.
You’ll find no anarchists in its ranks, however. This movement is led by humble rural conservatives and has gained breathtaking traction through little more than grassroots activism and democratic participation.
The latest development: Last week, residents of Crook County in eastern Oregon voted in favor of starting negotiations to secede from their state and come under the jurisdiction of Idaho.
Incredibly, Crook County is the 13th county to pass the measure. Since 2020, 17 of Oregon’s 36 counties—or almost half the counties in the Beaver State—have voted on the “Greater Idaho” proposal, and only four have rejected it.
“The voters of eastern Oregon have spoken loudly and clearly about their desire to see border talks move forward,” Greater Idaho Executive Director Matt McCaw said in a statement, according to News Nation. “With this latest result in Crook County, there’s no excuse left for the Legislature and Governor to continue to ignore the people’s wishes.”. . .

"There were seemingly only a few dozen people who attended the speech; but wow was the Joe Biden event divisive. Also, watch how many times Joe Biden is going back to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Philly, then South Carolina, then back to Philly, then South Carolina, that’s the pattern. BLM then AME, then back to BLM, then back to AME. This is the 7th time Biden has gone to an organized event in Philly (it’s not about campaigning).
"The Biden campaign organized what the media are calling a “black outreach” event; however, the remarks and speech was one of the most divisive, toxic and bitter racist events in modern political history. The Biden campaign is relying on the formula they used in 2020, where James Clyburn, Barack Obama, the AME Church and Black Lives Matter organizers activated a regional playbook to influence the election.
"In the big picture the Black Lives Matter (BLM) group are the ballot harvesters, the essential foot soldiers for the race-based electoral system Clyburn and Obama constructed. The AME network are the ballot counters, the precinct poll workers, spread throughout the various urban enclaves of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Georgia, Michigan, Arizona, Virgina and both Carolinas. It’s a race-based coalition, dependent on conformity to achieve the 2024 objective.
"The extremely toxic remarks made by Joe Biden were intended to rally the racist sentiment amid the black voters in the key precincts within key states. However, for 2024 the challenge is larger. Minorities are just like all Americans who are negatively impacted by Bidenomics, inflation, energy prices, the open border and illegal migration ¹intended to suppress wages. WATCH:" . . .
"When Donald Trump beats Grandpa Badfinger in November, he better hit the ground ready to fight. In my Monday column, we discussed how the Democrats will completely freak out and attempt to disrupt the peaceful transition of government – an act that’s going to be absolutely fine and necessary to maintain Our Democracy even though last week it was the worst thing ever. This second columns talks about what must happen right after Trump is re-inaugurated, God-willing, and what he must do immediately upon taking office. Momentum and inertia are vital. Trump must take his objectives quickly. He must put points on the board immediately on Day One.
"Speed is not just of the essence – it is everything. Look at what happened with Israel in Gaza. It should have destroyed Hamas immediately. No waiting. No screwing around. Get in there and get it done. Nothing wins like winning. There’s no victory like victory. You’ve got to get in there and make it happen fast. When you hesitate, it gives the enemy the time to rebuild, re-orient, and counterattack. The IDF should’ve been hanging scumbags from what few lampposts that remain standing in Gaza within the first month, well before all the little keffiyeh-clad scumbags started occupying campus quads and President Gumby started showing his spinelessness.
"Audacity, audacity, audacity.
"The same is true with Trump taking power again. Take power and use power ruthlessly and without hesitation or lose – those are the choices. He’s got to get wins quickly and needs to pile wins upon wins so fast that the regime media and the institutions can’t decide what to react to. You’ve got to overwhelm the left, and you can only do that with proper planning. You have to plan the transition out so that on Day One, right after he takes his hand off the Bible and goes back to the White House, Trump starts signing things. Orders. Pardons. Regulations. They need to be waiting for him to sign. You take the initiative and you get inside the enemy’s decision cycle. You hit them with so many things so fast that they can’t pick out what to focus on. Overwhelm them with conservatism.
"Not only does this tactic neutralize the ability of the regime media to create fake media firestorms, but it also has a morale effect by cheering up us voters when we see our priorities finally put into action. . . ."
"The Biden campaign has, throughout much of former President Donald Trump’s criminal trial, largely refrained from addressing or politicizing the matter. But in recent days, the campaign appears to have taken a different approach, with leaked reports and impromptu campaign events outside of the courthouse.
"Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged Trump with 34 counts of falsifying business records in connection with a 2016 payment his then-attorney, Michael Cohen, made to Stormy Daniels, for the ultimate purpose of illegally influencing the 2016 presidential election. Trump has pleaded not guilty and contends that the case is part of a broader political witch hunt designed to derail his 2024 bid for the White House. The trial has proceeded to jury deliberations.
"The absence of a verdict, thus far, has complicated the matter for the Biden campaign and some analysts have contended that attempting to play up a prospective conviction could backfire in the event of a different outcome.
“ 'Because we don’t have a verdict, the Biden campaign right now is in a very delicate situation where the last thing you’d want to do is to play up this big trial and then have Trump be found not guilty,” Boston College Professor David Hopkins told The Hill. Biden is also expected to deliver remarks after the verdict.
"Republicans, for their part, have long insisted the case is politically motivated. Speaking on an upcoming edition of the "Just the News, No Noise" television show, Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Whatley said that "[a]t its inception, this trial and all of the other trials that we're seeing both civil and criminal around the cou" . . .
"The terrorist group responsible for the September 11, 2001, attacks on the United States — which resulted in thousands of Americans being killed — praised the left-wing pro-Hamas protesters who have disrupted college campuses over the last two months.
"The protests that erupted in April led to encampments popping up at various top universities across the U.S. as Jewish students and law enforcement were attacked and the protesters called for the destruction of the state of Israel and, in some cases, went further by calling for an “Intifada,” which is a terrorist attacks against Jews or the state of Israel. Professional agitators helped whip up the chaos at many of the schools, according to various law enforcement officials.
"The Islamic terrorist group said in a statement that “every Muslim was happy” with the attacks on Israel that were carried out by “the youth of the Islamic nation.”
“While we support the assassination of the infidel Zionists and the beheading of them, we also appreciate and value the movement of Western demonstrators and sit-in students from Western universities, who through their sit-ins and protests expressed their rejection of the genocide taking place in Gaza,” the terrorist group said.
The Iranian-backed terrorist group Hezbollah, which is based in Lebanon, also praised the protesters earlier this month.
“ 'When the American people take a stand in support of Gaza … we salute and applaud them,” said Hezbollah Deputy Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem. “We appreciate and value this very much. … The [campus protests] are important, especially because they will have an impact on the U.S. elections. They will have an impact on the American position. Even if Biden says that he will not be influenced by this, he will whether he likes it or not. We will see him taking actions because of the protesters’ influence on him.” . . .
