The Political Insider "Comedian Ricky Gervais openly mocked celebrities after a group of them released an anti-racism PSA that makes current issues in America all about them.
"The PSA (seen below) will actually make you feel physically uncomfortable watching it as Hollywood’s best and brightest put their white guilt on display for the world to see.
"The two-minute video features celebrities vowing to “take responsibility” for a host of things they feel have contributed to racism in America.
“ 'Every not-so-funny joke, every unfair stereotype,” actor Justin Theroux laments.
"Racially charged jokes are going to be eliminated. There goes the career of Chris Rock. Start burning tapes of Richard Pryor.
"Kristin Bell vowed to take responsibility “for every time it was easier to ignore it than to call it out for what it was.' ” . . .
It was indeed terrible how racist our society was and the evil that was done to minorities in my own lifetime. WW2 was fought by our "Greatest Generation", but I see two separate Greatest Generations at that time: black and white. I can countenance reparations for those who were direct victims of Jim Crow such as the Tuskegee Airmen for example, but not one dime to the Sharptons, Waters, and others who we see looting and rioting.
