After much personal reflection, band discussion, prayer and many honest conversations with some of our closes black friends and colleagues, we have decided to drop the word “Antebellum” from our name and move on as Lady A, the nickname our fans gave us almost from the start.

They failed to see that due diligence was done and that was a dumb mistake, but, good grief, here comes the old "white privilege" thing again.
