Gav the Gov still rules California

Californians say Newsom is more focused on boosting presidential prospects than fixing state   "By more than 2 to 1, California registered voters believe that Gov. Gavin Newsom is more focused on boosting his presidential prospects than on fixing the problems in his own state, according to a new poll.

"A survey by UC Berkeley’s Institute of Governmental Studies, co-sponsored by The Times, found that 54% of voters said Newsom is devoting more attention to things that could benefit himself as a future White House contender compared with 26% who said he's paying more attention to governing the state and helping to solve its problems." . . .

. . .

Gov. Newsom Gave $1.7M to Drag Queens That Targets Kids  "The story of the governor, the transvestite and the tax credit began when Gavin Newsom first ran for office and called on the support of the state’s wealthiest and most famous transvestite.

“I’m honored to have your vote,” Newsom told Ru Paul. The celebrity millionaire drag queen endorsed Newsom in the governor’s race and praised him for having “changed the course of history for LGBT Americans” and for legalizing drugs. “Legal weed, baby!”

"The campaign video posted on Newsom’s social media and on the World of Wonder company which produces Ru Paul’s Drag Race raised legal and campaign issues that were never addressed. Those issues have only become more serious after World of Wonder received a $1.7 million film tax credit for a production listed only as ‘Untitled Drag Queen Movie’.

"California’s notoriously corrupt film tax credit system exploded under Gov. Gavin Newsom."

The Gavin Newsom who stood on stage with Ru Paul and announced that he was “honored and humbled” to have the support of the drag queen is still the same man even with a moderate makeover.
