The Stream"Special Counsel Robert Mueller has submitted a list of 48 questions to President Donald Trump’s legal team he hopes to have answered in a prospective interview as part of the investigation into possible obstruction of justice and campaign collusion with Russia. "The New York Times obtained the list of questions, which are moistly related to a potential obstruction of justice case against Trump. "Five questions relate to Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser who was forced to resign on Feb. 13, 2017. Eighteen questions focus on James Comey, who Trump fired as FBI director on May 9, 2017. Eight questions center on Attorney General Jeff Sessions, and 13 regard possible coordination between the Trump campaign and Russian government. "Perhaps the most intriguing question regarding possible collusion is about Paul Manafort, the former Trump campaign chairman. " 'What knowledge did you have of any outreach by your campaign, including by Paul Manafort, to Russia about potential assistance to the campaign?” One question reads. “ 'It is not clear whether Mr. Mueller knows something new, but there is no publicly available information linking Mr. Manafort, the former campaign chairman, to such outreach,” The Times noted." . . .
Thomas O'Malley. . . "It is highly likely that the United States will break up sometime in the near future. Since the 1960s, the United States has become more racially heterogeneous and more politically polarized. The right and left have grown increasingly farther apart and see each other not as fellow Americans, but enemies. This polarization has accelerated since the presidential election of Donald Trump in 2016. Americans used to mostly have the same religion, Christianity, and now they don't. Many are irreligious or are members of other religions. The immigration of large numbers of people from Latin America and Asia since the Hart-Celler Act of 1965 has transformed the United States. As a result of this mass immigration, white people are projected to become a minority in the United States in 2042. No other country has undergone such a rapid demographic transformation in such a short period of time.
"Many racial nationalists want a piece of the United States for themselves. Some Mexican nationalists want the Southwest to become a part of Mexico again or to become an independent country called Aztlán. " . . .
. . . "A country without a common sense of nationhood won't last. If the United States were racially diverse but politically united, it could survive. If the United States were politically divided but racially homogeneous, it could survive. But if the United States is both racially diverse and politically divided, it will not survive." Racism, 'White Violence,' and the Left
"And we saw it even more strongly when rapper Kanye West tweeted support for Trump a few days later. A bigger star than Shania Twain, Kanye has refused to back down, and even garnered public support from his normally non-political wife, Kim Kardashian West, and from Chance The Rapper (who noted that "Black people don’t have to be Democrats,”), though Chance, like Shania Twain, later chickened out and apologized.
"Kanye tweeted: “You don't have to agree with trump but the mob can't make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don't agree with everything anyone does. That's what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.”
"And when fellow musician John Legend chided him for these statements and said he was letting down his fans, Kanye responded: “I love you John and I appreciate your thoughts. You bringing up my fans is a tactic based on fear used to manipulate my free thought.” West's new song on the subject points out that “Lot of people agree with me, but they're too scared to speak up." Which is the whole point of preference falsification." . . . "Maxine Screams At Kanye ‘You Need Help’ . . ." . . . "The outcome of that meeting caused Auntie Maxine to lose her mind. West immediately took to Twitter and started tweeting a conversation he was having with African-American scholar Thomas Sowell, who is an economist, social theorist, and conservative political philosopher. Sowell is brilliant and crushes all leftist lies with fact-based arguments." . . .
If 2% of the African-American vote swings to the GOP, no Democrat would win another presidential election. It’s why the Democrats are hellbent on open borders as they see those illegal aliens are their new constituents.
Noisy Room. . . "Netanyahu said the files that Israeli intelligence had obtained came from a storage facility for the files on the nuclear weapons program in the Shorabad district in southern Tehran. The Israelis managed to get 55,000 pages of documents and another 55,000 files on 183 CDs. The originals are now in a “very safe place,” Netanyahu assured anyone watching. I have no doubt of that and kudos to the IDF and Mossad for doing excellent work once again."
. . . "Netanyahu stated, “We’ve known for years that Iran had a secret nuclear weapons program called Project Amad. We can now prove that Project Amad was a comprehensive program to design, build, and test nuclear weapons. We can also prove that Iran is secretly storing Project Amad material to use at a time of its choice to develop nuclear weapons.” He presented Iranian documents in Farsi that describe plans for Project Amad to build five nuclear weapons with a yield of 10 kilotons each. “That’s like 5 Hiroshima bombs to be put on ballistic missiles,” he explained.
"Netanyahu says the files prove four verifiable things:
Iran lied about never having a nuclear weapons program.
Even after the deal, Iran continued to preserve and expand its nuclear weapons for future use.
Iran lied again in 2015 when it didn’t come clean to the IAEA as required by the nuclear deal.
The nuclear de. . . al is based on lies. . . .
The Obama Disaster, and the Tweet of the Day"With today’s bombshell about Iran’s ongoing nuclear weapons program, the wreckage of Barack Obama’s foreign policy is coming into focus. Syria: the “red line” fiasco, with hundreds of thousands killed. North Korea: a do-nothing policy that brought America’s West Coast perilously close to coming under nuclear threat. Iran: a deal that would have been foolish even if the mullahs hadn’t cheated, $100 billion and sanctions relief now, in exchange for promises that Iran could walk away from at will. We now know that the deal was even worse than that.
"Those were the biggest disasters, but not the only ones. Libya: incredibly, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton participated in the overthrow of a dictator without having a plan for what would come after. The result was a failed state, and a terrorist haven. Cuba and Venezuela: while the disastrous condition of both socialist countries is not Obama’s fault, his admiration for, and coddling of, Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez contributed to sentencing the people of those countries to another generation of poverty and oppression. China: Obama failed to stand up to China’s military expansionism, or to its aggressive trade and economic policies that cost American companies many billions of dollars. Israel: Obama deliberately downgraded relations with one of our most important allies, and shamefully meddled in an Israeli national election in hopes of electing a Prime Minister as spineless as himself.
"That isn’t a complete list, but it will do. We have a long way to go to dig ourselves out of the foreign policy holes that the feckless (at best) Obama administration dug, but President Trump and his team are at least making progress.
"How could the Obama administration have been so inept in foreign policy? Iowahawk has at least part of the answer:" . . .
Longtime Clinton supporters last week received an invitation offering access to the family (the green invitation features photos of Bill, Hillary and Chelsea) at a Clinton Foundation benefit on May 24 in New York, at prices ranging from $2,500 ("Friend") for cocktail party and dinner, up to $100,000 ("Chair") for "Leadership Reception for two, a premium table of ten, program recognition as Gala Chair and invitations to the Clinton Foundation Annual Briefing." The foundation's streamlined mission: "create economic opportunity, improve public health, and inspire civic engagement and service."
"Daz Dillinger, Snoop Dogg’s cousin and collaborator on several 90’s era Dogg Pound hits, threatened Kanye on a since-deleted Instagram video.
"Dillinger says in the video, “Better not ever see you in concert. Better not ever see you around the LBC. Better not ever see you around California. Stay in Calabasas, ya hear me? ‘Cuz we got a Crip alert for Kanye.' ” . . .
Maxine Waters was quick to condemn this threat when...wait...what? She didn't? I just assumed she wouldn't stand for threats of black violence.
Kanye West to Launch Star-Studded Initiative to Restore Poor Chicago Communities Beware ‘Conservative’ Celebrities. . . "It was the same phenomenon that saw Kanye West’s remarkable rebranding last week. A tweet or two in the president’s favor and the man previously best known for calling George W. Bush a racist sociopath on live television and contributing such immortal lines to the canon of American music as “eatin’ Asian p***y / all I need was sweet and sour sauce” was reborn as a conservative folk hero. Perhaps West was taking his cue from Roseanne Barr, whom many on the right have given a similar mulligan for decades of far-left lunacy on the grounds she kinda likes Trump." . . .
Beginning with the bullying of President George Bush by the weasel Stephen Colbert through other Republican presidents down, down, down to this latest screed. And on the sidelines watching is the maladjusted Kathy Griffin, and none worthy of an honorable person's respect.
I Watched How Sarah Sanders Privately Reacted After Being Attacked – This Is Her Real Character. . . "The MSNBC party was set outdoors. It was a cold and rainy night and the event was winding down. Then the unexpected happened. Sarah Sanders walks into the MSNBC party. MSNBC, an openly liberal network that often promotes the vitriol that just attacked her, was the last place you would expect to find Sanders that night. But there she was. And guess what? Sarah Sanders was smiling. She owned it. I asked her about the attack and she shrugged, cracked a smile and simply told me that the attacks didn’t bother her and that she’s praying for the comedian. "That is the kind of woman she is. "Sanders did not lash out publicly. She did not attack Michelle Wolf personally or professionally. She just forgave her and shrugged it off." . . .
A roast too far "Saturday night's White House Correspondents Dinner was the ugly face of American journalism, where wit has been replaced by wickedness."
. . . "There was, however, plenty of laughter and applause, and ex post facto regrets will not undo the deep harm to the White House press corps, and more broadly to the Trump-hating mainstream media. Remember that these W.H. correspondents have to ask pointed questions of Sanders, who now has a great deal of sympathy from the general public after the affair, and who conducted herself with admirable dignity and reserve. Those correspondents who want to push her to get more detailed answers are now tarred with the brush wielded by Wolf as nasty. Sarah Sanders's job in parrying their thrusts has just gotten a lot easier." . . .
. . . "Disgraced comedian Kathy Griffin appeared on “The View” Monday and took back her apology for the graphic photos she posted of herself holding a depiction of Trump’s severed head. She also defended comedian Michelle Wolf who is facing criticism for her jokes about White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s looks at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.
“ 'Yeah, I take the apology back. F**k him,” Griffin said" . . .
"Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said on Sunday that he told Kim Jong Un the North Korea leader would have to agree to take 'irreversible' steps toward shutting its nuclear weapons program in any deal with President Donald Trump.
" 'We use the word "irreversible" with great intention,' Pompeo told ABC News. " 'We are going to require those steps that demonstrate that denuclearization is going to be achieved.'
"Kim expressed his readiness to discuss Trump's demand 'and to lay out a map that will help us achieve that objective,' Pompeo added.
"Pompeo, the former CIA director who was sworn in as the top U.S. diplomat on Thursday, said his meeting with Kim was 'a productive one' and that he left Pyongyang convinced there is 'a real opportunity' for the North Korean leader and Trump to strike a deal. " . . . Read more.
Independent SentinelOn October 30, 2008, presidential nominee Barack Obama, with the polling winds strongly at his back claimed, “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”There are few who could argue he did everything possible to fulfill that brazen, oft times divisive promise;obvious failures be damned. "Perhaps there were no more clearly measurable foul-ups than those centered on Obama’s “leading from behind” transformation of America’s foreign policy. "Iran- In spite of the fact that sanction ravaged country was in a dramatically weakened state, and their “navy” had buzzed U.S. ships, kidnapping our sailors, Obama spent years bargaining against himself and the best interests of the American people. Eventually, he capitulated, almost completely, on almost every major, national security, negotiating point. As a special bonus, Barack dropped $1.7 billion cash into the coffers of the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism. "Iraq- Obama, ignoring the warnings of his top military advisors, withdrew all U.S. troops, leaving a void quickly filled by a murderous ISIS caliphate. When our fighting men and women were forced to return they were hamstrung by Barack’s suffocating “rules of engagement”. "Syria- After President Obama’s feeble “red line” threat against their use of chemical weapons was exposed as a fraud he petitioned Russia to intervene.Putin seized that gift and quickly allied himself and Russian forces with the murderous dictator Bashar Al-Assad.Shortly thereafter, Vladimir signed a sweetheart deal allowing Russia to expand and use the naval facility at the Syrian city of Tartus, free of charge. The freebie warm water port was a geopolitical coup for the Kremlin." . . .
Timothy Meads at Townhall"The annual White House Association Correspondents’ Dinner was held in Washington, DC last night. President Trump opted to skip the event for the second year in a row. Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and several other White House officials represented him in his place. While humor was expected from the speakers at the dinner, some viewers felt that comedian Michelle Wolf’s jokes targeting Huckabee Sanders went too far. Conservatives and liberals alike lambasted Wolf for her attempts at be being funny. Perhaps the strongest condemnation of all came from MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski.
"Brzezinski, who is no fan of the administration, thought Wolf’s jokes making fun of Huckabee Sanders appearance were mean spirited and “deplorable.” She called on the White House Correspondents' Association to issue an apology. " . . .
. . . "And Sanders just sat there through all of this. "New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman tweeted: “That @PressSecsat and absorbed intense criticism of her physical appearance, her job performance, and so forth, instead of walking out, on national television, was impressive.”
"Comedian Michelle Wolf delivered a blistering critique of White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, mocking Sanders' truthfulness, appearance and Southern roots, at the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner Saturday. (April 29)"
Jimmy Kimmel, Kathy Griffin Defend Michelle Wolf. . . “A comic’s job is to go over the line and then push the line and go over it again,” Griffin tweeted. “Great comics aren’t supposed to be safe or careful. That would mean we’re not doing our job. By pushing the line we force people to think differently, to ask questions, and disrupt the status quo.” . . . As they did with Barack Obama?
"When Obama drew his red lineon the Syrian government’s use of chemical weapons against Syrian civilians, few of us believed it. Asit turned outAssad didn’t believe it, either, and dealt a serious blow to the Obama administration and to Obama’s legacy.
"Ultimately, Obama decided to punt by seeking Congressional approval he didn’t need to respond to Syria flouting his red line. It was a bad move. Bad.
Since President Trump took office, Assad has reportedly used chemical weapons against his own people twice. In both instances, Trump responded with missile attacks against Syrian interests, prompting the progressive outlet Vox to note that “Obama’s ‘red line’ fiasco led to Trump bombing Syria.”
If President Obama had crossed his stated Red Line In The Sand, the Syrian disaster would have ended long ago! Animal Assad would have been history!
"Power then blamed those who were frequent critics and opponents of Obama for his lack of action in Syria."
I disagree with Power firmly. I do not see one iota of courage in Obama nor any trace of desire to confront America's enemies. From the days before he was inaugurated when he told Russia he would not give defensive weapons to eastern bloc nations threatened by that nation to his last days in office when US ships were harrassed by Iranian assault boats with no response from Obama. The man was no more than a socialist organizer and a celebrity groupie adored by women's magazines and TV talk show hosts. The Tunnel Dweller
They hate @PressSec Sarah Huckabee Sanders because she represents every aspect of American womanhood that we admire: intelligence, grace, empowerment, patriotism, and beauty. The troll who trashed her at the #WHCD was too dim to memorize her own “jokes.” She had to read them.
Patricia McCarthy. . . "Who was this year's host, Michelle Wolf? A young alleged comedienne cast-off of the Daily Show that no one watches. Most people who may have tuned into the MSNBC coverage of the correspondents' dinner had never heard of her. Good call on their part; she has an x-rated mouth. She is humorless, classless, graceless and an embarrassment to her profession. She relished insulting people like the fabulous Sarah Sanders while Sarah is sitting in front of her. Who does this? Only heroes of the left. Harry Reid and Chuck Schumer have been doing it for decades. John Tester did it this past week. He maligned a good man without a shred of evidence. Like the fabricated fake "dossier," Tester made it all up to sabotage a good man, Ronny Jackson, for political expediency. He will suffer the consequences.
"The American people are not remotely as dumb as the DC establishment thinks they are; nor are they as crass. Most of them, millions of them, did not watch last night's televised abomination, and if they did, were horrified by the smutty tone of the evening. This is the left exposing itself as the lowlifes they are. The mystery is why were people like Hugh Hewitt in the audience? Why did he not get up and leave?
"Ms. Wolf is attractive to look at but difficult to hear. Her voice is shrill and whiny. She sounds like a little girl spewing disgusting, scatological profanity. Her content is obscene. Is this what politics have come to? Apparently so. This event was broadcast on MSNBC, of course, the network that airs Joe and Mika, Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow. NBC has no allegiance to the truth or any sense of decorum. " . . .
