Will Your Next Auto Be An EV? Most Say No

Will Your Next Auto Be An EV? Most Say No: I&I/TIPP Poll – Issues & Insights (issuesinsights.com)

In short, if nothing changes, the so-called EV revolution could be short-lived, barring an endless flood of government subsidies to keep it going.

"Policymakers inside the Biden administration have repeatedly assured Americans that electric vehicles (EVs) are an unavoidable and essential part of the “net-zero” carbon emissions world that they’re trying to regulate into existence. But despite hefty subsidies and future bans of gasoline-powered cars, Americans aren’t ready to jump on the EV bandwagon, the latest I&I/TIPP Poll shows.

"For our most recent online public opinion poll of 1,412 drivers, taken from May 3-5, we asked a straightforward question of consumer intent: “How likely will you consider buying/leasing an electric vehicle for your next car?”

"Among those responding, 53% said they were “not likely” to consider an electric car, while 39% said they were “likely” to. The poll has a margin of error of +/-2.6 percentage points.

"But, to spout an inevitable cliche, the devil once again lurks in the details. Just 16% of those answering the poll said they’re “very likely” to consider an EV, versus 23% who said they were “somewhat likely.”

"On the other side, more than a third — 36% — said they were “not at all likely” to consider an EV. Another 17% said they’re “not very likely” to do so.". . .

‘Fastest girl in Connecticut’ Chelsea Mitchell suing state after losing to trans athletes

“ 'At the end of the day, this is just about fairness,” Chelsea Mitchell told The Post. “This is about biology.”

"The 20-year-old is fighting for the integrity of women’s sports after she lost more than 20 races over the course of her high school career — thanks to a Connecticut policy that allows transgender athletes to compete in girls’ sports.

"Now, Mitchell, who has declared herself “the fastest girl in Connecticut,” is challenging her state’s policy in court.

"Mitchell is teaming up with fellow Connecticut residents Selina Soule, 20, Ashley Nicoletti, 19, and Alanna Smith, 19, who ran high school track in the state at the same time she did.

"The four are suing the Connecticut Association of Schools and the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference, seeking to overturn a policy that allows transgender athletes to compete in accordance with their gender identity rather than their biological sex.

“ 'I wanted to give voice to my story and help other girls out there so that they wouldn’t have to experience this,” she said.". . .

Comments:  This will not end here. Wait 'till players who washed out of the NBA, or weren't drafted by an NBA team out of college, get wise to this madness and start applying for the WNBA as trans women.

I grew up in CT as well. Very glad these girls are fighting for their basic human rights. Nothing against gays or trans individuals who deserve the same, but this trans madness must end. Boycott Bud Light, Target etc.

I feel honestly stunned that these trangender females father's didn't teach them any honor as dads would be expected to teach their sons, or teach them that's its wrong for men to abuse women. When you steal away athletic these wins and opportunities, and even self-confidence from women, that's what it is - man on woman abuse.

George Soros’ Son Alex Soros Has Reportedly Visited the Biden White House 17 Times

Money equals power.

The Gateway Pundit by Mike LaChance

"The Soros family gets this kind of access because they give a lot of money to the Democrats. They do not have a pro-traditional America agenda."

Report: George Soros’ Son Visited Joe Biden’s White House at Least 17 Times

George Soros’ son, Democrat megadonor Alex Soros, reportedly visited the White House at least 17 times since President Joe Biden assumed office.

White House visitor logs show Alex Soros, chair of his father’s far-left Open Society Foundations, maintains a high degree of influence with the Biden administration. Over the course of more than two years, Alex Soros visited the White House at least 17 times, according to visitor logs obtained by Fox News:

Alex’s most recent visits include three meetings between February 8th and 10th, records released Tuesday show. The visitor logs list Jon Finer, the principal deputy national security adviser; Jordan Finkelstein, special assistant to the president and the chief of staff for senior Biden adviser Anita Dunn; and Mariana Adame, the adviser to the counselor of the president, as the individuals who greeted Alex.

It remains unclear precisely who Alex may have met with for the sessions, as the records can contain White House staff who book appointments, meet the guests and take them to other personnel.

"What do you suppose he is discussing with people at the White House?"

MLB Players Could Protest Anti-Christian Hate By Refusing To Play

 The Federalist

"The Los Angeles Dodgers’ appalling decision to honor an anti-Christian hate group called the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during their “Pride Night” on June 16 has been met mostly with a deafening silence from the vast majority of Major League Baseball players. Even Catholics, whose faith is particularly singled out for mockery by this LGBT hate group, have been largely mute.

"As of this writing, only four players in the entire league have said anything about it, and one of those four has already caved to the rainbow mob. The only Catholic player to come forward has been Trevor Williams, a starting pitcher for the Washington Nationals. Williams denounced the Dodgers and called on his fellow Catholics “to reconsider their support of an organization that allows this type of mockery of its fans to occur.”

"The only Dodgers player to come forward so far has been relief pitcher Blake Treinen, who also released a clear statement Tuesday criticizing the Dodgers organization for honoring the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, rightly saying the group “promotes hate of Christians and people of faith.”

"The statements from Williams and Treinen were infinitely better than the cowardly response of Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw, who contented himself with a nonresponse. Instead of addressing the issue head-on, he weakly announced the return of “Christian Faith and Family Day” at Dodger Stadium after a hiatus. “For us, we felt like the best thing to do in response was, instead of maybe making a statement condemning or anything like that, would be just to instead try to show what we do support, as opposed to maybe what we don’t,” Kershaw told the Los Angeles Times recently.

"For Kershaw, it seems, the Dodgers should get a pass for awarding a group that openly mocks Christians as long as the Christians get an appreciation night of their own later in the season. What nonsense. It’s like having Christian appreciation night at the Temple of Artemis right before marching the Christians off to the Colosseum. Far from being “the best thing to do,” it would have been better had Kershaw said nothing." . . .

You Asked for a Rebuttal, Dad

..."Tell me, Dad, would you have wanted me, at the age of let’s say, 10, looking at a cartoon depiction of oral sex between a ten-year-old (like me at the time) and an adult? How about a well written description without pictures? Honest answer please."...

You Asked for a Rebuttal, Dad - American Thinker   "So my Dad sent me an article in Vanity Fair titled "The GOP is Escalating its War on Ideas" jumping all over the GOP for “banning books.”

"I knew what was coming before I ever clicked the link. In fact, I didn’t actually click the link, instead I placed a phone call to my Dad. I told him I knew what was in the article without reading it, and was ready to debunk it immediately. He told me he didn’t want to hear my opinion, regardless of if I read the article or not, and that I needed to expand my horizons, look at the opposing side, and if I wanted to rebut the article, I should write my own. So I read the article, and here is my rebuttal.

"Nowhere in the article does Vanity Fair describe the actual content of the so-called “books” in question. They simply brand the GOP as book-burners and silencers of free speech, antagonists who have a desire to oppress the LGBTQ+ and BLM protagonists. And protect gun owners, the filthy right wingers!

"They do their level best to make sure that the reader is appalled by the efforts of right-wing fanatics to ban books, and ideas, and of course, keep their guns. They don’t delve into what, exactly, might be controversial. They frame their argument by stating, as fact, that the GOP wants to exclude any and all “education” related to sexuality other than heterosexuality, and race any other than white, and keep their guns. No context needed at all.

"They make no cogent argument in support of their assertions, but the writing is at least flowery and full of feelgood phrases designed to compel the reader into a wholesale nod of agreement. " . . .

One by one, the ball players are coming out against that Dodgers plan to lionize the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence

Gavin Newsom's Own - American Thinker

"They're coming around.

"One by one, major league ball players are coming out to express their opposition to the Los Angeles Dodgers' management's decision to honor anti-Catholic bigot group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, with its "Community Hero Award."

"Here are two of them:

Los Angeles Dodgers reliever Blake Treinen is the latest player on the team who does not agree with them set to honor the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence during their Pride Night on June 16.

Treinen, who is currently on the 60-day IL as he continues to recover from shoulder surgery, joined All-Star starter Clayton Kershaw as members of the organization who disapproved of the decision to add the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence back to their Pride Night event after previously removing the group.

"Treinan's statement was exquisite, and it's clear he wrote it himself, because of one errantly placed apostrophe:

I am disappointed to see the Sister’s [sic] of Perpetual Indulgence being honored as heroes at Dodger Stadium. Many of their performances are blasphemous, and their work only displays hate and mockery of Catholics and the Christian faith.

I understand that playing baseball is a privilege, and not a right. My convictions in Jesus Christ will always come first. Since I have been with the Dodger’s [sic] they have been at the forefront of supporting a wide variety of groups.. However, inviting the Sister’s [sic] of Perpetual indulgence to perform disenfranchises a large community and promotes hate of Christians and people of faith. This single event alienates the fans and supporters of the Dodgers, Major League Baseball, and professional sports. People like baseball for its entertainment value and competition. The fans do not want propaganda or politics forced on them. The debacle with Bud Light and Target should be a warning to companies and professional sports to stay true to their brand and leave the propaganda and politics off the field…

..."ending with:

But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.' Joshua 24:15." . . .

Biden Accuser Tara Reade Moves to Russia, Says She No Longer Feels Safe in the U.S. ›

American Greatness  "Tara Reade, the former Senate staffer who accused Joe Biden of sexual assault in 2020, has moved to Russia, telling state media that she hasn’t felt safe in her home country since she made her allegations public. In the wake of the explosive interview in which she described the alleged 1993 sexual assault, Reade said she faced death threats, prison threats, and vicious smears against her character.

"During a news conference in Moscow Tuesday, Reade said she decided to stay in Russia after receiving renewed death threats this Spring, and a Republican lawmaker told her she was in physical danger.

"Back in March, she told Turning Point USA’s Benny Johnson that she was in talks with Republican lawmakers about testifying before Congress. “I did reach out and said I wanted to go under oath—that I would testify in Congress, Reade said during the interview. “I have received a response. We are going to meet. And there is a possibility there will be an investigation into Joe Biden. And I will go under oath and I will testify.”. . .

Many wonder, is this true or not? Comments vary:

Her accusations went nowhere the 1st time, & after she was humiliated when it turned out that she was a pro-Trump, pro- Russian LIAR so I'm surprised she wants to go thru that embarrassment all over again, but whatever...

“I reached out to (Vermont Senator) Bernie Sanders, I reached out to AOC (N.Y. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez), I reached out to (Calif. Sen. Dianne Feinstein), and (Calif. Rep.) Nancy Pelosi … and they gave me silence,” she said. Next, Reade said she went to a “Me Too” organization called “Time’s Up for assistance, noting that they had received millions of dollars of donations from Hollywood stars to provide legal and public relations help to sexual abuse survivors.

I hope Congress finally lets this woman speak her complaint under oath on what occurred that day.

'Missing' Biden family corruption probe witness Gal Luft speaks out, living as fugitive in undisclosed location (nypost.com) "Gal Luft, the “missing” witness in the House Oversight Committee’s Biden family corruption investigation, has told The Post he is alive and living as a fugitive in an undisclosed location.

"The former Israeli Defense Force colonel vanished from Cyprus last month while on bail awaiting extradition to the US on seven charges.

"He denies the allegations, which include five charges relating to the Arms Export Control Act of conspiring to sell Chinese products to the United Arab Emirates, Kenya and Libya, as well as a violation of the Foreign Agents Registration Act, and of making a false statement.

"Luft claims he was forced to skip bail because he is the victim of a political persecution by the US to protect Joe Biden and his son Hunter, and brother Jim.

“ 'The chances of me getting a fair trial in Washington are virtually zero,” he said in a call from an undisclosed foreign country, explaining why he skipped bail. “I had to do what I had to do.”

"He will not say how he escaped Cyprus because “I don’t want to get people in trouble.' ” . . .

I suspect a major quiet rethink is taking place in the C-suites of major companies that have signed on to the transgender agenda in hopes of a good ESG score from Blackrock and other giant fund managers.

DeSantis Goes There, Shows Graphic Video of Effects of 'Gender-Affirming' Surgeries Alongside Biden Comments

DeSantis Goes There, Shows Graphic Video of Effects of 'Gender-Affirming' Surgeries Alongside Biden Comments – RedState

It’s really otherworldly to see an 80-year-old who’s been in political office since the 1970s telling the public that they’re “sinful” if they don’t support radical surgeries on kids. Remember, this is a guy who until very recently had nothing to say on the subject, and was against gay marriage until 2012—now he’s suddenly one of the most extreme voices on the left, constantly obsessing over sex and gender while he presides over one of the most destructive administrations in U.S. history.

"As RedState’s Bonchie reported last week, Ron DeSantis expertly trolled media outlets by actually showing videos of books found in Florida public school libraries that contained sex and pornography. The news stations had to quickly kill their live feeds because you can’t show that stuff on television.

"The obvious question: if it’s too saucy for an adult audience—why is it in our kids’ schools?

"Tuesday afternoon, the Florida Governor’s response team—the Twitter account @DeSantisWarRoom—was it at again, taking footage of President Joe Biden lambasting the state for its policies on transgender surgeries and putting in a split-screen with videos showing some of the more benign steps of “gender-affirming surgery.”

WARNING: some of the images are graphic, so if you’re squeamish, beware.

"What I’ve so often noticed is that when people on the left talk about these surgeries, they describe them as simply “gender-affirming” and no big deal, like choosing a different outfit or maybe having a little dental work. But as you can see from the videos above, many of these procedures are anything but minor, are frequently irreversible, and can lead to lifelong infertility and worse.

"DeSantis’ team didn’t even show some of the more extreme genital procedures:. . ."

Tim Scott Gives Hall of Fame Response to Joy Behar's Race-Based Attack as Larger Point Is Made –

RedState   Few things terrify Democrats and their media allies more than a minority who dares to think differently and who chooses to call themselves a Republican. That goes double for Republican minority candidates for public office, and even more so for those seeking the presidency.

The left’s attacks on those candidates can be especially unrelenting and vicious, as we saw for instance in the 2016 GOP presidential primary race when Sens. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Marco Rubio (Fla.) were hit with insulting accusations from the Usual Suspects, who suggested they were traitors to the Hispanic community because they refused to buy into Democratic dogma on issues like illegal immigration.

Sadly, we’re seeing the same thing happen as the 2024 GOP field takes shape, as we saw back in February when former U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Nikki Haley, fresh off of entering the presidential race, was informed by Woke, Inc. that she was trying to hide her Indian-American heritage because she’s been going by the name Nikki (her middle name) since she was a child and not her first name, which is Nimarata.

Not surprisingly, the Mean Girls contingent at “The View” planted the seeds for this line of attack months before Haley’s announcement with co-host and racial arsonist Sunny Hostin essentially accusing her of being a sellout, while suggesting Haley should “lean into being someone of color” as though someone’s race should be a focal point instead of their actual stances on the issues.

Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.), also a Republican presidential candidate, has seen his fair share of similar despicable attacks over the years as well, with the MSM dutifully running interference. And during a segment on last Tuesday’s “View” program, the race-based attacks on Scott reared their ugly heads again, this time with co-host Joy Behar taking the lead.

“And [Sen. Scott is] one of these guys, who you know, he’s like Clarence Thomas, black Republican, who believes in pulling yourself by your bootstraps, rather than, to me, understanding the systemic racism that African-Americans face in this country and other minorities. He doesn’t get it,” Behar proclaimed.

“Neither does Clarence. And that’s why they’re Republicans,” Behar went on to say, while disrespectfully leaving out his title of “Supreme Court Justice,” which he more than earned.". . .

“Here’s what is dangerous and offensive to me, for every young child in America wanting to think for themselves, draw their own conclusions. What they’re saying to them is, ‘stay in your place, do not stick your head out because we’re going to tell you how to think so you never learned anything about what you should think. It is literally the dumbest, most offensive thing I’ve ever witnessed on TV to hear these millionaire TV personalities telling me how to live my life as a black man. But more importantly, suggesting to every child, stay in your place, follow my lead or you, too, will reap the same harvest of Tim Scott or Clarence Thomas or any other conservative who dares, dares to think for themselves.”

Tennessee representative who cheered on a mob says we can’t allow a GOP ‘mobocracy’ – twitchy.com      "Representative Justin Pearson is one of the infamous “Tennessee Three” who grabbed a bullhorn and disrupted the legislative session to carry on about gun control after trans shooter Audrey Hale killed six people at a Christian school. The media forgot all about the shooter and her victims and made superstars of the Tennessee Three. Pearson is the one who was outed as a total fraud when video of him campaigning at college in 2016 surfaced. He’s since grown out his afro and adopted a “crazy fake southern preacher accent” — it’s called code-switching.

"The leftist media isn’t done with Pearson yet, and he appeared on “The Last Word” on MSNBC to warn us that our democracy can’t become a GOP “mobocracy.' ”. . .

What Is He Thinking? Trump Attacks His Former Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany

“He’s completely unhinged,” Marc Thiessen observed before pointing out McEnany “was one of the best people to serve in his administration.”  “He’s losing control, lashing out at anyone and everyone who does not [toe] his line. Sad,”. . .

"On Tuesday evening, former President Donald Trump took to his social media platform Truth Social and launched an assault on his former press secretary, Kayleigh McEnany. He leveled accusations against her, claiming that she distorted poll figures during her appearance on Fox News.

“Kayleigh ‘Milktoast’ [sic] McEnany just gave out the wrong poll numbers on Fox News. I am 34 points up on DeSanctimonious, not 25 up. While 25 is great, it’s not 34. She knew the number was corrected upwards by the group that did the poll,” Trump wrote.“The RINOS & Globalists can have her. FoxNews should only use REAL Stars!!!”

"Trump decided to attack McEnany, who is now a co-host of Fox News’ Outnumbered, where she reported on polling data from Iowa indicating that Republican presidential candidate Ron DeSantis is “closing the gap” with Donald Trump since officially announcing his candidacy last week.
"Trump’s use of “milktoast” is an apparent misspelling of the term “milquetoast,” which refers to a timid or weak person. How exactly can Trump justify using such a term to describe McEnany, given how she effectively and aggressively handled the media during her time as White House Press Secretary?
"Many on the right slammed Trump for attacking McEnany.
“ 'Zero excuses for this kind of behavior,” tweeted former congresswoman Nan Hayworth. “ "President Trump is capable of better. Kayleigh McEnany served in impeccable faith under the most difficult of circumstances. She’s the best of America in myriad ways. She deserves complete respect.”. . .
