Fox News may face lawsuit over Tucker Carlson’s January 6 conspiracy theory

Another authoritative article beginning with "experts say".

Fox News | The Guardian  "Network could see ‘fairly strong’ suit from Ray Epps, who Carlson alleged was a secret government agent behind the attack"

"Experts say conservative network Fox News could face a “a fairly strong” lawsuit from a man who Tucker Carlson repeatedly accused of working as a government agent and carrying out the January 6 insurrection.

"Carlson, who was fired from the network in April, repeatedly alleged that Ray Epps was a secret government agent who coordinated the January 6 riots, the New York Times reported.

"Epps, a Trump supporter and former marine, has been at the center of a far-right conspiracy theory after an article by a rightwing website argued that he was spared from criminal charges because of his covert role.

"Carlson and other rightwing figures, including members of Congress, have latched onto the false theory that Epps was a government agent involved in whipping up the January 6 attack.

"In almost 20 episodes of his talkshow, Carlson reiterated the conspiracy theory that Epps was an undercover operative who “helped stage-manage the insurrection”.

"Carlson repeatedly argued that Epps was recorded on camera urging others to enter the Capitol, but never entered the building himself.

"In one 10-minute video posted to YouTube, Carlson claimed that it was “highly strange” that Epps hadn’t been arrested and alluded that the Times’ coverage on Epps was attempting to “cover something up”.

"Epps has been questioned by the January 6 committee, and could still face charges as the investigation continues, the Times reported. He and his wife have received death threats and fled from their home in Arizona, fearing for their safety, according to the Associated Press".

Newly Released Documents Show Members of the Obama Biden Team Sought to Sabotage the Incoming Trump Administration

The Gateway Pundit | by Mike LaChance

"Newly released documents confirm what millions of Americans have believed for years now. That members of the Obama administration actively did what they could to sabotage the incoming Trump administration in 2016.

"People like General Flynn were targeted through the process of unmasking and more.

"The heavily redacted documents were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.

"Heavily redacted documents from the National Security Agency tell at least part of the story of a final-month rush by the outgoing Obama administration to torpedo the incoming presidency of Donald Trump.

"The Daily Signal obtained 217 pages of documents from the NSA through a Freedom of Information Act request. The documents reveal that Obama administration officials, from Vice President Joe Biden down to several ambassadors and many officials in the Treasury and Energy departments, gained access to secret information about Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, President-elect Trump’s choice for national security adviser…

"Three top Obama administration officials who gained access to the Flynn information are now high-ranking officials in the Biden administration." . . .

UPDATE: Our Alleged President is a Corrupt Scumbag - and the Ruling Class is OK With That | Frontpage Mag  . . ."Are we going to re-embrace the Constitution? Are we looking at an American Caesar or an American Franco? These are questions that our ruling class will never ask because they are uninformed of history and uninterested in it. But they’re going to get interested, very interested, in history because history is very interested in them."

One is forced to ask, are there any decent, honorable Democrats?

Axios Tries to Water Down Biden’s Explosive Temper Towards Aides and Staff

  Legal Insurrection

Is this an attempt by Axios to make Biden appear mentally sharp?

"Alex Thompson at Axios published one of the most lenient and sympathetic pieces to explain that President Joe Biden’s harsh temper behind closed doors is not a big deal.

"He is known to lash out at aides and staff:

In public, President Biden likes to whisper to make a point. In private, he’s prone to yelling.

  • Behind closed doors, Biden has such a quick-trigger temper that some aides try to avoid meeting alone with him. Some take a colleague, almost as a shield against a solo blast.
  • The president’s admonitions include: “God dammit, how the f**k don’t you know this?!,” “Don’t f**king bullsh*t me!” and “Get the f**k out of here!” — according to current and former Biden aides who have witnessed and been on the receiving end of such outbursts.

"One official said, “No one is safe.”

Biden supposedly went off on then-COVID Czar Jeff Zients when the country didn’t have enough tests when the Omicron variant started to spread.

"But Zients is now Biden’s chief of staff.

"I guess getting yelled at by the president is “an internal initiation ceremony,” meaning “if Biden doesn’t yell at you, it could be a sign he doesn’t respect you.”

"Chris Whipple notes in his book The Fight of His Life: Inside Joe Biden’s White House that former press secretary Jen Psaki once said, “I said to [Biden] multiple times, ‘I’ll know we have a really good, trusting relationship when you yell at me the first time.'”

"But the anger is expressed in interrogations and not tantrums: “He’ll grill aides on topics until it’s clear they don’t know the answer to a question — a routine that some see as meticulous and others call ‘stump the chump’ or ‘stump the dummy.'” . . .

The Media Learn Nothing From Being Wrong

 Derek Hunter

Then again, if they were capable of learning something like that they likely wouldn’t make the mistake in the first place.

"There are few industries where being completely wrong in every aspect of your profession holds no consequences whatsoever. Political punditry tops whatever else is on that list. Just look at Dick Morris or everyone on cable television who said the words “red wave” last year.

"The public has the attention span of a gnat, or they simply don’t mind being lied to. I’m not sure which it is, but neither is a good characteristic for a society hoping to improve itself in any way.

"Still, these soothsayers with a history of being wrong about the future never stop." . . .

. . ."That opens up a lot of space for people to simply make things up. Why not, really? When there are no consequences for being wrong, why not go crazy and declare things simply to be? After a day or two of “Wow, we don’t know why that ‘red wave’ didn’t happen” coverage on cable news, the entire concept and any mention of the predictions disappeared. Occasionally you’ll see one of the losing candidates on TV talking about some podcast they’re hosting or offering up more predictions about events they’re completely disconnected from, but they’re rarely referred to as having anything to do with the entire reason the audience has any idea who they are. Most just disappear. What happened to Hershel Walker or Dr. Oz?" . . .

Biden Admin Indicts Witness Planning to Testify Against Biden Family

  PJ Media

"According to an indictment in Manhattan that was unsealed on Monday, Dr. Gal Luft, a key witness in the House Republicans’ investigation into the Biden Crime Family, is now facing federal charges. The charges include arms trafficking, operating as an unregistered lobbyist for China, and conspiring to evade U.S. sanctions on Iran.

“Prosecutors in the Southern District of New York say Luft, 57, a dual US-Israeli citizen who was arrested in Cyprus this past February and went on the run after being released on bail prior to his extradition, agreed in 2015 to let former Hong Kong official Patrick Ho send $350,000 each year to Luft’s think tank, the Institute for the Analysis of Global Security,” reports the New York Post. “In return, the indictment said, Luft agreed to “recruit and ‘educate’ a former high-ranking US official to ‘make public statements … which were in the interest of China.'”

"Luft says the case against him is a political hit job designed to stop him from testifying before the House Oversight Committee over the payments made to the Biden family from people connected to Chinese military intelligence. Luft also says that the Bidens had a mole in the FBI who shared classified information with those Chinese nationals in the CCP-controlled energy company China Energy Fund Committee (CEFC).

“ 'I, who volunteered to inform the US government about a potential security breach and about compromising information about a man vying to be the next president, am now being hunted by the very same people who I informed — and may have to live on the run for the rest of my life,” Luft told the Post last week." . . .

Speaking of America being a laughingstock: China readying for total war, America laser-focused on pronouns and wood-fired pizza ovens -

 Eric Utter; American Thinker

. . ."This can’t end well for us.

"The COVID-19 virus wreaked havoc on us physically. Broke society in some respects. The subsequent pandemic, though not officially recognized as one, is characterized by mass ignorance, naiveté, hypocrisy, and delusion. Social distancing won’t help. Mask and vaccine mandates won’t work. In fact, these would be today, as they were then, the exact opposite of the right things to do.

"If the West is to long survive, it must return to its founding principles. This is why “progressives” incessantly denigrate them.

"Americans, in particular, must reacquaint themselves with the idea of limited government of, by, and for the people, equal treatment under the law…and especially the reality/primacy of natural rights. Read the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights.

"We don’t need to militarize our young children. But we don’t need to sexualize them or lop off their body parts, either.

"Tyranny, whether at the hands of the CCP-- or the Democrat party in America—must always be defeated."

What Was Janet Yellen Doing Bowing in China? (townhall.com)

. . ." The move wasn't just embarrassing because He didn't reciprocate. The New York Post included in their coverage comments from experts who know better.

" 'Never, ever, ever," Bradley Blakeman, a senior staffer in George W. Bush’s White House, told the outlet. "An American official does not bow. It looks like she’s been summoned to the principal’s office, and that’s exactly the optics the Chinese love," he added.

" 'The way to treat an adversary is, you don’t go hat in hand," Blakeman is later quoted as saying. "But with this administration, time and time again, we embarrass ourselves and show weakness. And it just shows the lack of effective leverage we have."

"Bowing is not part of the accepted protocol," Jerome A. Cohen, an emeritus professor at NYU and expert in Chinese law and government, also shared." . . .

'Most of us are tired of it': Douglas Murray slams 'sick' calls for slavery reparations

YouTube   Author Douglas Murray has slammed people who engage in a kind of "grievance competition" and cry about the "hurt" they've suffered as a result of slavery centuries ago.

"All history has consequences and ramifications ... if we were to play this fairly we would at least look at all of the countries around the world that engaged in a slave trade who are simply not interested in any form of reparations," Mr Murray told Sky News Australia's Piers Morgan. Mr Murray claimed slavery persists in Africa today and that there are more slaves globally than during the height of the transatlantic slave trade. "So some of us are simply a bit bored of hearing people ripping at closed wounds and then crying about their hurt, or presumed hurt," he said. "Nobody is alive who has actually suffered the hurt and nobody is alive who did the wrong." He added it's always the "more virtuous" countries, such as the United Kingdom and United States, that are presented as "the worst countries" over this issue. "It's sick and most of us are tired of it."

It is pure statistical garbage when we are told what the average global temperature is and that it is a heat record -

It is statistically impossible to calculate an average daily global temperature and misleading to tell the public that they do that every day in order to scare them into capitulation to the green pushers.

Jack Hellner; American Thinker  . . ."It is blatantly misleading to pretend we can tell what the average temperature on Earth was 100 years ago or 125,000 years ago. There is also no way to tell what causes temperatures to fall or rise, which they have done many times throughout history.

"The climate is fluctuating and has always fluctuated cyclically and naturally. It is arrogant to believe politicians and bureaucrats can control temperatures, sea levels, and storm activity if we allow them to destroy industries that have greatly improved our quality and length of life.

"On a side note: In Springfield, Illinois, where I live, the warmest day ever was July 14, 1954, during a global cooling period. This year we will be about 30 degrees cooler than 69 years ago. I guess our coal fired power plant hasn't killed us."

Parody: In Climate Initiative, Arby's Changes Slogan To 'We Have the Bugs' | Babylon Bee  . . ."We felt it was time for us to shed our archaic, meat-centric image and promote a more environmentally-friendly cuisine," said Samber Rothborg, the new Chief Diversity Officer for Arby's. "It's important that we acknowledge our shameful past while charting a course forward into a more sustainable future for all of us." Rothborg's eyes then glazed over and she seemed to shut down like an android.

"Arby's will now offer roast mealworms, roast crickets, and roast Pfizer mRNA protein cubes instead of their traditional offering of delicious food. Climate experts agree this move could contribute to a 0.0000000000003 degree global temperature drop within 52 trillion years. "Vee are pvoud of ze steps Arby's iz takink to save ze planet," said WEF Chairman Klaus Schwab.

"At publishing time, Burger King had announced they were changing their slogan from "You Rule" to "Easily Digestible Protein Sources Such As Fried Grasshoppers Rule."

Old Joe sure knows how to pick 'em, doesn't he?

Good for #MikeLove, who is clearly kidding here— but the threat of ruinous bullying is very real for Americans who refuse to bend the knee to today’s gender mafia,” Mark Davis tweeted in response to the video:
Beach Boys Alum Scared To Perform ‘Gender Specific’ Song: ‘Hope There’s Nobody From Budweiser Here’ | The Daily Wire  "Former Beach Boy Mike Love announced at a recent concert that he was afraid to perform the band’s hit song “Surfer Girl,” fearing backlash because the lyrics were “gender specific.”
"Love expressed his concern with a jab aimed at Anheuser-Busch — and the recent brouhaha surrounding the company’s brief but ill-fated partnership with trans-identifying influencer Dylan Mulvaney — joking that he hoped there wasn’t “anyone from Budweiser' ” . . .  Ridicule is what it all needs. Lesbian, gay, bisexual voters remain solidly Democratic | Pew Research Center   "Gay, lesbian and bisexual voters may make up a relatively small share of the American electorate – just 5% of voters in the 2012 general election identified as LGB, according to national exit polls – but they have long been a deeply Democratic constituency and today are overwhelmingly negative in their assessments of Donald Trump." . . .

How Did We Get To This Gender-Confused Place? - Daily Citizen (focusonthefamily.com)   . . ."Looking at the question from a different perspective, we see there has been an increasingly powerful lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) activist movement over the past 50 years. The modern LGBT movement is often said to have begun with riots at the Stonewall Inn in New York in 1969. A year later, gay- and transgender- identified men and women held “Gay Pride” marches in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago. The movement spread until, within a few years, there were LGBT activist groups in almost every major American city, initially holding “Gay Pride” celebrations and parades in the month of June. Now, the whole calendar is filled with LGBT-awareness days and months, and with worldwide “Gay Pride” celebrations from January to December.
"Since the Stonewall Riots, many activist groups have been established, working to affect almost every area of American life, including:
"Religion: Since even before Stonewall, LGBT activists and their allies began pressuring churches and denominations to change their theology about sexuality. Several denominations now perform same-sex ceremonies and ordain LGBT-identified clergy.
"Popular Culture: Groups like GLAAD (formerly the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) have worked for more than 30 years to influence news and entertainment media to portray LGBT-identified men and women more frequently and only in a positive light.
"Education: GLSEN, the Gay Lesbian and Straight Education Network, established more than 4,000 “Gay Straight Alliances” at elementary, middle and high schools. They also train educators, students and school employees on their perspective toward LGBT issues." . . .

If You Call Teachers 'Heroes,' You're Part Of The Problem

 The Federalist

Taking this dishonest, condescending approach will benefit only those who see our public schools as yet another opportunity to infect America’s youth with harmful ideology.

"Many factors have contributed to the downfall of America’s schools. One rarely discussed issue is the disproportionate praise heaped on the teaching industry, which has led teachers to believe the scope of their influence ought to extend beyond the teaching of facts and figures. As a society, we have praised teachers to the extent that even mild criticism of the profession is met with a chorus of boos. “My sister is a teacher!”

"When discussing widespread problems in the profession, instead of presenting an actual argument, those who reflexively defend the industry will often mention having friends or relatives who are teachers, as if this anecdotal tidbit is a meaningful response.

“ 'Teachers are heroes” is practically an infallible dictum. It is unclear why teachers, by default, deserve the disproportionate praise our society gives them. Even suggesting that they might deserve merely the same amount of respect we give most other professions (the horror!) will be perceived by many as “an attack on teachers.' ” . . .

Loving Dad Joe Engages Son in Life of Crime

Loving Dad Joe Engages Son in Life of Crime - American Thinker  "The propaganda ministry is in full spin mode, trying to explain why Joe Biden is parading around the world with Hunter in tow.  The two are together for state dinners, overseas junkets, and weekends at Camp David.  As the narrative goes, Hunter is a troubled man, victimized by the demon of addiction.  Any appearance of presidential impropriety is simply a loving father concerned about his son, holding him close to keep him out of trouble.  I say hogwash." . . .

. . ."He used his son and other family members to do the dirty work of

  • selling the product (influence),
  • collecting the proceeds, and
  • laundering the money for use by the first family.

"While they did that, Joe smiled for the cameras and worked to maintain the façade of returning normalcy to the White House.

"But Hunter is no criminal mastermind, and he left far too much evidence of family misdeeds for the public to ignore.  Now that Hunter has been caught, Joe is suddenly concerned about his troubled son?  Baloney.  Joe is running interference with the DOJ and keeping Hunter close to keep him quiet.

"Nothing Joe Biden is doing is being done out of affection for his son.  It's being done to save his own skin.  He's doing what any other mob boss would do with an underling when the truth starts bubbling to the surface: keep him quiet at all costs.  Some loving father."

That would imply Joe has much stronger mental sharpness than we see. I would have to guess "Joe" means those controlling his actions, TD

Biden the Angry: NY Mag Puff Piece Inadvertently Reveals He's Actually Pretty Nasty – RedState   . . ."The obvious question is, if you didn’t want to be in the White House, why did you run for the job? And why are you running again?

"Although the reporter here valiantly tries to go along with the narrative that Joey is your nice old grandpa who loves ice cream, she inadvertently reveals what we all know: that he’s an irritable, cruel boss who often treats the press and his subordinates like garbage. I thought his September 2022 “Battle for the Soul of the Nation” speech was one of the angriest, most vitriolic addresses by a U.S. president in our nation’s history, and his refusal to even recognize his granddaughter Navy Joan Roberts is morally incomprehensible." . . . More on this here.

Who they REALLY are: Lefties GO THERE cheering Biden for bullying his staff because THEY had it coming – Twitchy   . . .As Twitchy readers know, Axios (yes, Left-leaning Axios) exposed Joe Biden for the mean, belligerent bully he really is. Not to mention the angry outbursts they described have been tied to dementia but we digress.

"The guy is just a jerk. He always has been. And we're not even sorry for saying that.

"Even Obama said some not-so-flattering things about his then-VP; he wrote about Joe's temper in his memoir even, and that he didn't care for it. All of that being said, the Left is circling the wagons around Biden because even if he's a bully and a-hole, he's THEIR bully and a-hole.". . .

"According to the Daily Mail – The New York Times has printed a blistering op-ed by one of its star columnists slamming Joe Biden for disowning a granddaughter born to a stripper who his son Hunter had a fling with.". . .

Your land is my land (The Megan Rapinoes of ice cream)

The Ben & Jerry story reflects bad faith and hatred of the country.  How do two people blessed by our economy think so poorly of their country?  I don't get it, but I'd love to see Ben & Jerry close their doors, give the land back, and pay reparations as well.

Silvio Canto, Jr.  . . ."This is hilarious.  Ben & Jerry, the ice cream men of New England, spent Independence Day claiming the Mt. Rushmore exists on stolen land.

"They could have chosen to celebrate July 4th with a burger and watching the Red Sox take two of three from the Rangers.  Or they could have offered ice cream to anyone who dressed their baby as a Native American. Or they could have gone to a reservation and offer ice cream to everyone.

"Ben & Jerry went woke and a local tribe called their bluff.  This is the story:

Nulhegan Band of The Coosuk Abenaki Nation Chief Don Stevens informed Newsweek he’s very interested in getting the land Ben & Jerry’s headquarters is on because it originally belonged to his tribe.

He told the publication the tribe was “always interested in reclaiming the stewardship of our lands.” However, Ben & Jerry’s doesn’t seem interested in playing ball. As of Friday, the company had not reached out to Stevens to broker a deal that would see the land return to the original owners.

Ben & Jerry’s demanded land be returned to Native American people. Well, it might be time for the ice cream company to put its money where its mouth is.

"Are you laughing?  I am.  It could not happen to a nicer couple of people. "
