MSNBC's Super Tuesday panel draws backlash for laughing off Virginia exit polls on immigration
"Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, called on MSNBC's Rachel Maddow and Jen Psaki to apologize after the pair mocked voters for being concerned about the border crisis as they cast their ballots during Super Tuesday elections.
Cruz demanded they apologize during "The Faulkner Focus" on Thursday, arguing the controversial panel discussion is indicative how "out of touch" the mainstream media is with American voters.
" 'I mentioned Jeremy Caceres a second ago. He was murdered about 30 miles away from Jen Psaki's $1.7 million home in Arlington, Virginia, but from her perspective, that apparently is a laughing matter," Cruz told Harris Faulkner on Thursday.
" 'She doesn't understand why families are concerned when their children are being murdered by illegal aliens," he continued.
" 'Well, you know what? Across the country, a whole lot of families understand, and we want to protect our families. We want to support law enforcement and secure the border, and I think that clip is emblematic of how out of touch the corporate media is… they're sitting there laughing at who are these peasants to be worried about this? It's why so many people are understandably upset."

Nick Arama – RedState "There are probably few people I would find more odious than the execrable Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), and I would really like it if Steve Garvey were to blow Schiff away in the Senate race in California.
"The disgraced former Intelligence Committee member was on "Meet the Press" on Sunday when he made some concerning remarks about former President Donald Trump and the intelligence community.
"Kristen Welker asked him about the fact that U.S. intelligence officials are planning to provide briefings for Trump once he officially secures the Republican nomination for president. That is expected to happen this month. Welker asked if Schiff as the "former Chair of the House Intelligence Committee" thought it was appropriate for Trump to receive intelligence briefings given he's been charged over his handling of classified documents." . . .
"During the interview, Schiff also said "Knowing the intelligence community as I do..." Either he's stupid or he's been so emboldened by what he's gotten away with, he doesn't know he shouldn't be tipping his hand at this point and saying that about the IC. He now should be asked who do you know who would do this? It serves as a reminder that we need to be concerned about the IC going forward.
"What's also funny here is that Welker asks this question of Schiff who is incredibly untrustworthy. He was kicked off the House Intelligence Committee, according to then-House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, because he "lied to the American public."
"They understand that, and even agree with it quietly," he said. "They understand Hamas is part of the Iranian terror axis." Rafah is where four Hamas battalions are located, according toThe Jersualem Post.
Madeleine Hubbard"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says he plans on continuing Israel's operation in the Gaza Strip by entering Rafah, which President Joe Biden called his "red line" in the Israel-Hamas War.
"Biden has been sending humanitarian aid to Gaza, where six Americans have been held hostage since Oct. 7, 2023, as he has been increasing pressure on Israel to protect Gazans. Tensions most recently flared between the two global leaders during Biden's MSNBC interview that aired Saturday.
" 'What is your red line with Prime Minister Netanyahu? Do you have a red line?" host Jonathan Capehart asked Biden. "For instance, would invasion of Rafah, which you have urged him not to do, would that be a red line?"
" 'It is a red line, but I'm never gonna leave Israel," Biden responded. "The defense of Israel is still critical, so there's no redline I'm going to cut off all weapons so I don't have the iron dome to protect them, but there's redlines that if he crosses – you cannot have 30,000 more Palestinians dead as a consequence of going after Hamas."
"Biden was referring to the death toll promulgated by the Gaza Health Ministry of more than 30,000 killed in Gaza since Oct. 7, 2023, although the Hamas-run agency does not distinguish between combatant and civilian casualties. Israel launched an operation against Hamas after the Oct. 7 attacks that left about 1,200 people dead in Israel and resulted in the kidnappings of 250 others as approximately 130 remain captive.
Netanyahu, however, rebuffed Biden's criticism on Sunday when he was asked about whether Israeli forces would enter Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip.
" 'We'll go there. We're not going to leave them. You know, I have a red line. You know what the red line is? That October 7 doesn't happen again. Never happens again," Netanyahu said, according to Politico.
"Netanyahu also said several Arab leaders, whom he did not name, tacitly supported his efforts to oust Hamas from power in the strip." . . .
The United States and the international community continue to push Israel to create a Palestinian state in the Gaza Strip when the war is over, but as I demonstrate on In Focus, the parties involved don’t want it. The Palestinians want to annihilate Israel and Israel wants to continue existing.
. . ."I don’t even think the politburo in Pyongyang would go this far, and they have North Koreans thinking Kim Jong Un can hear their thoughts. I wonder if Scarborough still thinks Biden is at his best after that disastrous State of the Union, where his Irish fury did bubble up, and he ranted like a crazy man. The temper never left, and it’s at a point in the White House where staffers reportedly have a buddy system when an aide is set to get his or her rear end chewed out by the cantankerous, half-braindead president who can’t remember when his son died." . . . If Churchill had Biden as an ally in 1940, he and his war cabinet would all have been slain with a pro-Nazi government ruling the UK. Biden would have been one more Quisling or Laval ruling Britain's allies. The one bright spot for England would have been that Biden would be Britain's least intelligent adversary. TD

The Biden administration is trying to topple Netanyahu’s government - Andrea Widburg"Biden has never made a secret of his hatred for Bibi Netanyahu (and it’s easy to see why a stupid, draft-dodging man would hate an intelligent, accomplished warrior). Still, he’s now taking that hatred to new levels as he actively works to interfere in Israeli politics. For decades, leftists told us that it was morally wrong to try to affect a nation’s internal politics, but that doesn’t apply when the nation is a liberal democratic ally…and the world’s only Jewish state.
"The New York Intelligencer reported on sources saying that Biden intends to overthrow Netanyahu, the democratically elected leader of a U.S. ally (emphasis mine):
In the past month, he has, through a series of relatively quiet but closely linked and deliberate moves, sought to marginalize Bibi, as Netanyahu is ubiquitously known, internationally and at home. The change spilled out publicly on Thursday night following the State of the Union address, when Biden announced he ordered the U.S. military to bring humanitarian aid to Gaza via a sea pier. After the speech, Biden was stopped by Senator Michael Bennet of Colorado, who told him to “keep pushing” Israel’s leader. Smiling, Biden said, “I told him, ‘Bibi,’— don’t repeat this— ‘you & I are going to have a come to Jesus moment.” Hidden behind Secretary of State Antony Blinken, a presidential aide whispered, “Sir, you’re on a hot mic,” to which a buoyant Biden replied, “I’m on a hot mic here. Good. That’s good.” . . .

"Orban released a video on X, formerly Twitter, praising Trump on Sunday after he visited the former president's Mar-a-Lago Estate in Florida last week.
"As president, Trump "commanded respect in the world, and thus created the conditions for peace," Orban said in the video, according to English subcaptions. "During his presidency, there was peace in the Middle East and peace in Ukraine. And there would be no war today if he were still president of the United States." . . .
At the height of Biden’s emotional visit, he gave a speech to the people of Israel: “I come to Israel with a single message. You are not alone. You are not alone. "The Mothers of IDF Soldiers group led a demonstration last week of army mothers, reservists in the Israel Defense Forces, bereaved families and other concerned citizens outside the U.S. embassy in Jerusalem. They demanded that President Joe Biden stop leveraging power to force Israel to resupply Hamas.
"The following day, hundreds of Israelis, including parents of soldiers, families of hostages and terror victims gathered outside Ashdod Port. For hours, they blocked trucks laden with supplies for Gaza from exiting the port. Activists have been blocking trucks from entering Gaza via the Kerem Shalom and Nitzana border crossings for more than two weeks.
Speaking to the crowd in the southern Israeli city of Ashdod, Shifra Shahar, who runs a nonprofit organization that cares for the needs of soldiers, addressed her remarks to Israel’s leaders:
“Government of Israel, defense minister, IDF chief of staff, get ahold of yourselves!
“We had elections last year. I don’t recall voting for [U.S. Secretary of State Antony] Blinken! Blinken is sitting in the war cabinet and protecting the interests of my enemy. … We have sons in Gaza. We have sons fighting. The entry of the trucks endangers them, prolongs the war, increases the number of casualties and delays the return of the hostages!
“They tell me, ‘There are constraints.’ He who is constrained doesn’t win the war.
“They tell me, ‘The Americans are threatening not to provide us with ammunition.’
“To this, I say, if we were besieging them, we wouldn’t need ammunition! The war would end. They’d be screaming for help, returning the hostages and the war would end!”

"Retired Colonel Douglas Macgregor delivers a surprisingly accurate response to the situation created by Joe Biden as espoused in the 2024 State of the Union address. I cannot emphasize the value of these remarks strongly enough, in part because my own independent research – and that of a global team I have been working with- is in direct alignment with this outline.
"Two years ago, I accepted the reality that Western sanctions against Russia were profoundly different from all other sanctions and completely ridiculous in the bigger picture of how the global economy operates. A sanction regime is familiar and has been used against Cuba, North Korea, Iran and even Venezuela before. Few were paying attention, but for the first time the U.S sanctions against Russia were not created to target Russia and punish any violator, they were created to remove the tools which would allow violations. The actual dollar as a trade currency was being weaponized.
"What followed was not a surprise. Given the nature of the relationships in the geopolitical world, it only took a few months for Russia and their allies to create new tools which would render the Western economic sanctions irrelevant. That’s exactly what happened, and the Russian economy has thrived, while their relationship with two-thirds of the global world has strengthened.
"Feeling like the only person who could see through the opaque nature of a narrative that surrounded the Russian sanctions, I quietly set out on a mission to understand what this was all about. None of it made sense. More on that journey will follow. However, what Macgregor is describing is precisely the outcome that was predictable two years ago.
"There is an information war against what Macgregor describes in the beginning of these remarks, and people I know personally have become targets as a result. It might surprise many to discover the nature of this information war does not originate with government or politicians. Our focus has been misplaced and our emphasis has been on the wrong syllable." Opinion (msn.com) "How can we understand the terrible, self-imposed deprivation now gripping the people of Gaza? The heart-wrenching stampede that unfolded in Gaza last Thursday casts a stark light on the brutal reality of life underHamas's rule. It is a somber reminder of the urgent need to address the suffering of Gaza's people, but it also serves as a crucial moment to clarify the accountability for Gaza's plight.
"The chaos and desperation that led to this tragedy are direct outcomes of Hamas's governance, which prioritizes violence and killing Jews over the welfare of its population. The stampede, occurring during an aid distribution, tragically underscores the severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. Driven by sheer desperation, people found themselves in a deadly crush, a situation that should never occur.
"To pave the way for peace and stability for my brothers and sisters in Gaza, it is essential to acknowledge the root causes of their suffering. Hamas's diversion of resources, suppression of dissent, and neglect of civilian needs must end." . . .
Hamas will then use the money from the black market to restore their weapons and tunnels. TD
"Those who cannot afford to pay the exorbitant prices are going hungry, he said — not for lack of aid deliveries, but because Hamas seizes the aid on entry and uses it to enrich itself and fund its ongoing war against Israel.
"Klein’s account of the situation in Gaza corroborates anecdotal information from social media videos, showing people selling food supplies delivered through international humanitarian aid in marketplaces within Gaza." . . .
" 'I don't agree,” Bennet responded to a question about Biden's remarks. “The problem is not the lack of food in Gaza, but the fact that Hamas steals the food that comes in.”
"Hamas then “sells it on the black market at 10 times the normal price, and so the food doesn't reach the needy who can't afford to buy it," Bennett asserted during the interview with NBC's "Meet the Press" program.
"We don't use this kind of thing as a bargaining chip. You have to understand that the problem is that Hamas is preventing humanitarian aid from reaching its destination,” he explained." . . .
I’m not advocating violence. I’m warning that denying a freedom-loving people any peaceful means of resolving their differences is unwise. I have no idea how many Americans would take up arms to defend their God-given rights, but it would surely be foolish to force that decision. The radicals need to calm their hatreds and realize the idiocy of cornering an animal that has the means to destroy them and no other path to freedom.
"Imagine you’re awakened in the middle of the night by a disturbance in your living room. You grab your trusty Louisville Slugger and go downstairs to investigate, only to find that a grizzly bear has shattered the front door and is foraging around for a midnight snack. Your next decision could mean life for death. Do you avoid getting between the bear and the exit, hoping that it leaves? Or do you corner it so you can have a final showdown — your baseball bat versus its 700 pounds of muscle, claws, and teeth?
"No sane person would advocate placing a dangerous animal in a position where its only option is to fight. But nobody ever accused leftists of being sane. Hence, they’re trying to corner us and leave us with no peaceful means to resolve our differences.
"As stated in our Declaration of Independence, our rights are “inalienable.” They aren’t granted by men, but are gifts from God. As such, our Constitution is not the source of those rights. It is a pact to honor God’s gifts, and our elected leaders swear an oath to comply with it.
"But of course, dishonorable men break their word all the time. Our current self-proclaimed defender of our “democracy” seems to have little regard for his oath, our Constitution, or the republic he supposedly leads. He has continued the work begun by Barack Obama — undermining our civil liberties with zeal.
"The radicals can’t cancel that which originates from God, but they can work to deny us the means to exercise our rights — which is a manifestation of tyranny. As they do so, they seem unconcerned that we are the bear, which they are backing into a corner, leaving us with few options to maintain our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. Such cornering is a dangerous game." . . .
We have a right to be free from cruel and unusual punishment, unless you’re a member of the MAGA movement and happened to be in the Capitol on January 6 for a selfie. Then you’re subject to years in solitary confinement, or even execution for stepping through a broken door while unarmed.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: “How I See The State Of Our Union” (Response to Joe Biden’s SOTU speech): “Neither my uncle nor my father would recognize the version of America that we have today. We’ve become a nation of chronic illness, of violence, of loneliness, depression and division and poverty.”
On racial preferences, JFK, in 1963, said he opposed them: “I don’t think that is the generally held view, at least as I understand it, of the Negro community, that there is some compensation due for the lost years, particularly in the field of education.
On tax cuts, in a 1962 speech Kennedy said: “It is a paradoxical truth that tax rates are too high today and tax revenues are too low, and the soundest way to raise the revenues in the long run is to cut the rates now. … The purpose of cutting taxes now is not to incur a budget deficit but to achieve the more prosperous, expanding economy, which can bring a budget surplus.”
On dealing with foreign enemies, JFK believed, as Reagan did, in peace through strength, not strength through peace. In his inaugural address, Kennedy said, “Let every nation know, whether it wishes us well or ill, that we shall pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe to assure the survival and the success of liberty.”
On the Second Amendment, this lifetime member of the NRA believed it conferred an individual right to keep and bear arms. In 1961, Kennedy said: “Today we need a nation of minutemen: citizens who are not only prepared to take up arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as a basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom. The cause of liberty, the cause of America, cannot succeed with any lesser effort.”
Abortion was not an issue during the 1960 presidential campaign. Nor was it an issue during his presidency. Kennedy did say this: “Now, on the question of limiting population: As you know, the Japanese have been doing it very vigorously, through abortion, which I think would be repugnant to all Americans.”
