If the left can't refute the Trump Presidency, they'll keep making stuff up

Liberals cannot get many to despise President Trump if, like me, we already had previously. Trump was my most disliked candidate, considering what I regarded as bloviating, insulting, and rudeness toward other candidates, most particularly his terrible insult of Carly Fiorina (His attempt to recover from the shame of that was equally shabby). But it soon came down to him or Hillary and it became no choice for me. Who would I prefer to greet the casket of my dead child: Obama, for whom my child would be nothing but a prop in a photo-op, or Hillary, who would blatantly lie to our faces about his death. Or Trump, who would make the murderers pay dearly for our loss? Or any other Democrat who would be the Favored One of those who long to be photographed trampling on the American flag, kneeling during the national anthem, or being cheered as they call our President "a motherf**ker".
Not this kid; I have seen President Trump's accomplishments in the face of everything the American left has thrown at him and those he has selected to serve with him. He has defied demagogues in Congress, entire "News" networks, and their showboating "reporters", - openly dedicated to the destruction of the Trump Presidency - the entire "entertainment" industry, and much of academia.
We must fear this left and their silly, yet treacherous efforts to get the allegiance of the American people. This is not even close to being the Democrat Party of my family, my labor union, and of this nation's world wars.  The Tunnel Dweller

"Did Donald Trump’s mother call him idiot with zero common sense? Fact Check"

Snopes . . . To sum up, the president’s mother did not call him “an idiot with zero common sense.” We therefore rate this claim “False.' ” . . .

FactCheck.org . . . "The meme offers no citation for the quote, and we couldn’t find anything to lend it credibility: We searched online and through news archives and found no such statement from Mary Trump, who died in August 2000.
"Trump’s mother criticizing her son and forecasting his potential entrance into politics — not to mention calling such a move a “disaster” — would have no doubt made the quotation newsworthy, if she had said it, at the time and again later. Before Mary Trump died, Donald Trump already had become a wealthy developer and casino owner who gained celebrity status and publicly considered running for president in the late 1990s, before deciding not to run. The supposed quote also would have likely resurfaced during his 2016 presidential campaign." . . .
Here's a twofer from CHECK YOUR FACT"
. . . "However, the Daily Caller News Foundation found no record of Mary Anne Trump ever saying the quote attributed to her in the Facebook post. A search of news archives and interviews didn’t yield any matches. It only seems to appear in memes and social media posts.
"Other fact-checkers have also been unable to find any credible sources linking Mary Anne Trump to the quote.  . . .
"If Mary Anne Trump had said such a negative thing about her son before her death in 2000, it likely would have been picked up by the media when Donald Trump publicly considered running for president in the late ’90s, but no news outlets reported on it."
An article shared on Facebook claims former first lady Michelle Obama called President Donald Trump the “dumbest president in United States history.”
"Verdict: False  There is no record of Obama ever saying the statement. The quote originated on a satirical website."

ANALYSIS: 5 Reasons Why Stacey Abrams Would Be A Risky VP Choice For Joe Biden

Her refusal to accept the results of an election opens her up to charges of hypocrisy, given that she criticized President Donald Trump in 2016 for refusing to commit to accepting the election results if he lost. As recently as last month, a group that Abrams leads placed an asterisk next to Kemp’s name in ad attacking him.
Daily Caller   "Former Georgia Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams is pitching herself as a potential running mate for former Vice President Joe Biden.
Democratic Presidential Candidate Mike Bloomberg Campaigns Ahead Of Super Tuesday"Though Abrams has benefited from fawning media praise, selecting her would come with its downsides for Biden, the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee. Here are five reasons why Abrams would be a risky choice.
"She’s never been elected to office higher than state representative
"Abrams has never been elected to an office higher than Georgia state representative, serving as minority leader in the state legislature — and she doesn’t even hold that office at the current moment.
"State legislators are ubiquitous in the political world: the United States has more than 5,400 state representatives and nearly 2,000 state senators, according to Ballotpedia. And yet, if Abrams becomes Biden’s running mate and he wins, she’ll be a heartbeat away from the presidency.
"Her qualifications are especially important considering Biden’s advanced age. The former vice president is 77-years-old and will turn 78 in November. If elected, Biden would be the oldest president in American history." . . .

"Those steamy romance novels"

"Abrams wrote a series of steamy romance novels that could be awkward for her to address on the campaign trail. While her novels aren’t as aggressive as Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders’s essay about a woman having gang rape fantasies, it still contains sexually explicit content outside the norm for a vice president’s writing."  ...

Have the Democrats thought this out really, really, really well? She could be president, you know.  Sunday Schadenfreude: No way out for Democrats stuck with senile Biden as #MeToo allegations cannot be suppressed

Shifty Schiff: Thousands of Americans Are Dead Because We Didn't Successfully Impeach and Remove Trump

Pelosi, Schiff, Maxine Waters, Schumer, and, well, all those with scowling faces in Congress and their enablers at MSNBC, CNN, and Hollywood know if this nation goes Democrat in November, they will have control over us. TD
"Despite that, Schiff blames the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic and the deaths associated with the virus in America on... President Trump not being impeached.
Beth Baumann   "House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) has been one of the biggest outspoken proponents of impeaching President Donald Trump. For two years we were repeatedly told that the Trump campaign colluded with Russia. Special Counsel Robert Mueller proved no collusion took place. Schiff and his cronies immediately clung to the theory that Trump threatened to withhold military aid to Ukraine unless the country investigated Hunter Biden for sitting on the board of Burisma, a natural gas company. Hunter was being paid more than a million dollars a year despite having no natural energy experience. Even though everyone knew no quid pro quo took place, Democrats moved forward with impeachment. They impeached the president in the House but failed to have him convicted in the Senate.
"Despite that, Schiff blames the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic and the deaths associated with the virus in America on... President Trump not being impeached.
"Let that sink in for a second.
. . .
"How is that being incompetent? Trump went against everyone's advice – including the World Health Organization – when he halted flights. If he was incompetent or only cared about himself he would have never made that kind of call. He wouldn't spend hours every day holding press briefings about this pandemic. If he didn't care, his team wouldn't have worked with governors, private enterprise and health care officials to address this public health crisis.
"Schiff is just mad that he's no longer relevant and he didn't succeed in his partisan witch hunt."
This is nowhere near "just politics"; this is sheer hatred.

Rumor-mongers of the Demagogue Party

Virus Strikes Media Dumb  . . . "Instead, we are back to story number one: How to refashion news on the Wuhan virus to attack the President. As been the case from the beginning, the press is using every foul means to demean him and make this the Trump Virus, ignoring his measured approach and successes.
"This week they glommed onto his remarks in a presser that revealed the contagion curve is flattening and diminishing to suggest that Trump had called for something as possible remediation -- bleach injection -- that he had not. In some cases, they flat-out lied about what he said. In others they edited the presser video to achieve the same distortion.
"Regular readers of this site know a great deal about press information manipulation and lies. I write this in the hope that you will share it with those others who still don’t get it.
"Here is the relevant discussion from that presser, transcribed by the Daily Caller:
Bill Bryan, Under Secretary for Science and Technology at DHS, talked about the half-life of the coronavirus on surfaces like door handles and stainless steel surfaces, saying that when they “inject” UV rays into the mix along with high temperatures and increased humidity that the virus dies quickly.
Bryan continued by noting that DHS also tested if certain types of disinfectant could kill the coronavirus.
“We’ve tested bleach, we’ve tested isopropyl alcohol on the virus, specifically in saliva or in respiratory fluids, and I can tell you that bleach will kill the virus in five minutes,” Bryan said. “Isopropyl alcohol will kill the virus in 30 seconds, and that’s with no manipulation, no rubbing. Just bring it on and leaving it go. You rub it and it goes away even faster.”...
Immediately following these remarks is where Trump states, "So, I’m going to ask Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposing when we hit the body with a tremendous, whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light, and I think you said that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way. And I think you said you’re going to test that too. Sounds interesting. And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute, one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it’d be interesting to check that, so that you’re going to have to use medical doctors with, but it sounds interesting to me. So, we’ll see, but the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute. That’s pretty powerful."
A few moments later, ABC News reporter Jon Karl asked Bryan, “The president mentioned the idea of a cleaner, bleach and isopropyl alcohol emerging. There’s no scenario where that could be injected into a person, is there?”
“No, I’m here to talk about the finds that we had in the study,” Bryan responded. “We don’t do that within that lab at our labs.”
Trump then clarified his remarks: “It wouldn’t be through injections, you’re talking about almost a cleaning and sterilization of an area. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn’t work, but it certainly has a big effect if it’s on a stationary object.”
Trump later raised the possibility of whether UV rays could kill the coronavirus if it was on a person’s skin, in particular if it were on their hands.
“If they’re outside, right, and their hands are exposed to the sun, will that kill it as though it were a piece of metal or something else?” Trump asked.
“I don’t want to say it will at the same rate because it’s a non-porous surface, but what we do know is that we looked at the worst case scenario and the virus lives longer on non-porous surfaces,” Bryan responded. “So porous surfaces, it doesn’t live quite as long, so in theory what you said is correct.”
"From this exchange,  the media reported the president was advising people inject bleach to kill the virus." . . .
The View's Behar
There's no turning back. The latest anti-Trump hoax is now the left's fixed reality:
That’s where we are with the Lysol/bleach hoax. It’s now a fixed part of Leftist lore about President Trump. To them, he will forever be the president who told Americans to inject Lysol and drink bleach.
The panel on "The View" was only one segment picking up on this.

Trump’s idea for “disinfecting” people to fight disease is already being done   "If you spent any time on the internet on Thursday and Friday, or read a hard copy of a newspaper, you would undoubtedly have read stories or social media posts saying that President Trump told Americans to inject themselves with bleach or Lysol to cure coronavirus. Of course, that's not true. The media were either stupid or malicious when they misreported Trump's words. What Trump said was straightforward and thoughtful: . . ."
. . . "My point is simply that, not only was Trump making an intelligent suggestion about new ways to treat a new enemy, what he was advocating has already been done! In the battle between Trump and the media, they may sell pixels by the barrel, but it’s Trump who has the brains and knowledge. Andrea Widburg, whose companion article is:

'View' Admits Worse Economy Gets, More Biden Has to 'Benefit' at Election: He'll 'Take Care of Us'

MRC "The hosts of The View are doing their best to prop up Joe Biden’s presidential campaign, even offering him free advice and future media appearances on their show. After Joy Behar confidently claimed Biden could disappear and still win the election, she had a change of heart on Friday’s show, saying that he needed more media air time to counteract Trump’s “bloviating.” Each host fawned over the “sane” and “stable” Biden as their dream president.
"At one point, Meghan McCain even admitted that more people losing their jobs to the coronavirus lockdown, could only help Biden’s campaign.
"Co-host Whoopi Goldberg began the show wondering if Biden needed to “excite” the base or stay out of the limelight. Behar said she was done with Trump’s “excitement” and she wanted someone who was “sane” and “stable” like Biden:
“No. I think that what you need is somebody who is stable. You need somebody who is going to bring sanity, stability, empathy, a sense of calm to the nation,” she said, adding that Biden would “take care of us” during our national time of “pain.”
"She also demanded the media give Biden more air-time, offering to boost his campaign with appearances on their show: . . ."

CNN Slammed For Treatment Of Biden Sexual Assault Allegations After Old Larry King Clip Surfaces

Weasel Zippers  "But rather than CNN’s team of investigative reporters, it was the Media Research Center’s NewsBusters, a conservative group that seeks to expose liberal bias, who exhumed the footage from its own vault." . . .

CNN finally covers Larry King clip in which Biden accuser's mother purportedly alludes to daughter's sexual assault  'After criticism from media critics and the Republican National Committee (RNC), the liberal network CNN finally broke its silence on its own footage purportedly showing the mother of Tara Reade, who accused former Vice President Joe Biden of sexual assault, alluding to the alleged incident.
" 'At 1:28 p.m. ET on Saturday, the network's website published an article on the issue. Prior to that, the story was missing from the network's coverage, including its "Reliable Sources" newsletter from CNN liberal anchor Brian Stelter, in what some critics are calling "journalistic misconduct". Yet and still, Stelter hasn't tweeted about the video even though he tweeted posts about Elmo and Big Bird. The broadcast programming spent some time on those characters as well, with "interviews" during "CNN Newsroom."
. .
"CNN AVOIDS ON-AIR COVERAGE OF BIDEN ACCUSER TARA READE NEARLY ONE MONTH AFTER  MAKING ASSAULT CLAIM   "CNN has largely ignored Reade’s claims, drawing criticism from media watchdogs that often contrast it with how the liberal network handled allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh with hundreds of stories and countless segments. CNN finally published its first story on Reade’s claims on April 17, weeks after they were made, when correspondent MJ Lee framed the story as Democratic leaders and allies of Biden being “asked to respond to an allegation” against the 2020 Democratic frontrunner.
"According to one analysis, CNN waited 24 days to cover the allegations. By contrast, the outlet published nearly 700 articles about allegations against Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh in the 19 days from when they became public to his confirmation in 2018." . . .

Voters: Virus briefings show 'bias and disrespect' of Trump by media "American voters see an anti-Trump bias in the media, and half believe the media are trying to “move the blame” for the coronavirus away from China and to the president to help defeat him in November.
"What's more, a majority of those who watch the daily briefings said the media are disrespectful of the president.
"The latest McLaughlin & Associates poll found that 49% of voters believe the media are helping the Democrats take out Trump in the current crisis." . . .
Just 49%? Come now.

Media Claims Calls To Poison Control Have Increased Due To Trump’s ‘Disinfectant’ Comments. That’s Not True.

. . . "For example, the New York Daily News reported there was an unusually high number of New Yorkers contacted city health authorities over fears that they had ingested bleach or other household cleaners in the 18 hours that followed President Trump’s bogus claim that injecting such products could cure coronavirus.”
"As Reason’s Elizabeth Nolan Brown reported, however, that was not the case.
"“[T]he article makes no mention of anyone deliberately consuming household cleaners. It simply states that 30 people called the city’s poison control hotline ‘over fears that they had ingested bleach or other household cleaners,’” Nolan Brown reported. “Fearing that you ingested something doesn’t jibe with having intentionally consumed that substance.”
"Further, the Daily News reporters compare the number of calls this year to those during the same period last year – when people weren’t using household cleaners as stringently as they are now and thus not risking as much exposure.
"“[O]ne needn’t do a detailed analysis to surmise why exposure to things like Lysol and bleach—and fears about this exposure—might be up this month over April 2019. And one needn’t reach for the ridiculous explanation that it’s because people deliberately consumed it en masse after listening to Trump." . . .

Media and Democrats lying again: No, Trump Did Not Tell People to Inject or Drink Bleach or Disinfectants

Legal Insurrection
After 3 years of Russian-collusion fabrication and lies, you’d think the media would have learned its lesson. But it’s doubling down on fake news to try to elect Biden.
"This is why when Donald Trump became president I told friends to always listen to his full remarks. Everyone knew the MSM would twist his words to make him sound evil and stupid.
The MSM and liberals on Twitter did just that yesterday. They claim Trump suggested people inject themselves with disinfectants in order to cure the Wuhan coronavirus.
Let me start off with what Trump finished saying: “It wouldn’t be through injections, you’re talking about almost a cleaning and sterilization of an area.”
. . .

Adam Schiff and San Fran Nan will make good use of this fake news from Herb Brubanter:

But the only problem is, these people are con artists in South Wales...
Conman and his wife who pretended he was in a coma for two years in a bid to derail his fraud trial are BOTH jailed  . . . "Alan Knight from Swansea, South Wales, had claimed he was too ill to stand trial after swindling a frail 86-year-old man with dementia out of his £41,000 life savings as well as changing the pensioner's will." . . .
Can you picture this couple invited to President Biden's State of the Union as gallery guests?

Parody: Dems Recommend Drinking Bleach After Learning It Could Cause An Abortion   . . . "Drinking bleach is normally harmful, yes, but if a pregnant woman does it, then it does have some positive effects," said Pelosi on MSNBC. "If your state has closed the abortion clinics during this pandemic, sometimes bleach is your best option. Who are we to tell a woman not to drink bleach? Her body, her choice."
" 'You have to drink it to find out what it does, and what it does is provide excellent women's healthcare.' "

Biden sexual assault allegation roils #MeToo movement

"When I pulled away, the anger kind of emanated from him," Reade said in an interview with POLITICO. "He pointed his finger in my face and said, 'You're nothing to me. You're nothing.'"
Politico

Some worry about inadvertently advancing the political fortunes of a president who has been accused of sexual assault himself.

"In 2017, actress Alyssa Milano became one of the early advocates for the #MeToo movement when she tweeted, “If you’ve been sexually harassed or assaulted, write ‘me too’ as a reply to this tweet.” Legions of women went public with their stories in response.
"Two-and-a-half years later, Milano took to Twitter again — this time, to explain her self-described “silence” over sexual assault allegations against presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden made by ex-Senate aide Tara Reade.
“ 'I just don’t feel comfortable throwing away a decent man that I’ve known for 15 years in this time of complete chaos without there being a thorough investigation,” Milano said in an interview to which she linked. The backlash was swift: Progressives and feminists accused Milano of being a hypocrite and turning her back on Reade because she supported Biden." . . .
Biden is in the hot seat now, according to this Politico article. Now we wait to see what CNN will report on this:
When Milano explained this month why she had been silent about Reade’s allegations, before several traditional outlets reported on them, she said, “I’m sure that mainstream media would be jumping all over this as well if … they found more evidence.” Her remarks sparked a fight with another high-profile advocate for victims of sexual misconduct.
Actress Rose McGowan, who accused Weinstein of rape, tore into Milano on Twitter, saying, “You are a fraud. This is about holding the media accountable. You go after Trump & Kavanaugh saying Believe Victims, you are a lie. You have always been a lie. The corrupt DNC is in on the smear job of Tara Reade, so are you. SHAME.”
. . . "Afterward, she said, she was stripped of most of her duties, and later given a month to find another job at the instruction of Kaufman, who denies her account, along with Toner and two others in the office. No other Biden staffers have corroborated the assault and harassment allegations to the media.
Then, the friend said, Reade told her that she was physically assaulted by Biden. The friend said she told Reade not to report the sexual assault to the police because it would have ruined her career. After the story broke, Reade filed a police report.
Lucy Flores, a former Nevada lawmaker who accused Biden of inappropriately touching her in a creepy way, said she’s not surprised that his supporters, like Milano, are standing by him. She said she blocked the actress on Twitter last year for Milano’s statements of support for Biden that indicated she doubted her. Flores said she did not consider Biden’s touching of her sexual.

Hollywood "victim" advocates and Joe Biden fans, we wait to hear from you. Alyssa Milano? Gloria Allred? Joy Behar?

This newly discovered video is of the mother of Tara Reade calling Larry King about the matter in 1993.  She called from "San Looees Obeespo", CA.

Andrea Widburg: A 1993 Larry King show supports Tara Reade’s claim that Biden assaulted her
Ryan Grim, to whom Reade told the story about her Mom’s embarrassing call to Larry King, repeated the story to Katie Halper, who had first broadcast Reade’s allegations. One of Halper’s listeners managed to find a Larry King show from August 1993 during which a woman identified as “a caller from San Luis Obispo,” asked for advice about help for her daughter, who had been victimized by a “prominent senator,” but had been unable to get anyone to act on her complaint. Reade has since confirmed that the voice belongs to her mother:
CNN avoids on-air coverage of Biden accuser Tara Reade nearly one month after making assault claim
"Biden has made three separate appearances on the liberal network since Reade came forward. Between the two interviews with CNN anchor Anderson Cooper during individual virtual town halls and a separate interview with anchor Brooke Baldwin, the former vice president was never asked about the alleged incident."

"CNN has continued its bizarre on-air blackout of Tara Reade nearly one month after she came forward accusing former Vice President Joe Biden, the Democrats' presumptive presidential nominee, of a sexual assault in 1993.
"Reade, a former staffer for the then-senator, spoke out about the alleged assault during a podcast interview on March 25. She previously came forward last year with claims of inappropriate touching as a wave of women made similar allegations against the former vice president around the time he entered the 2020 presidential race.
"For nearly three weeks, the mainstream media largely avoided Reade's allegation. The tides began to shift following Rich McHugh's report in Business Insider the Friday before Easter that Reade had filed a criminal complaint against Biden.
"The New York Times, The Washington Post and NBC News published their first reports on Easter Sunday. ABC News and CBS News followed suit that Monday and Tuesday. CNN waited until Friday to issue its first report about the allegation on its website.
"Meanwhile, there has been no mention of Reade's claim on-air." . . .

CNN Slammed For Treatment Of Biden Sexual Assault Allegations After Old Larry King Clip Surfaces

“ 'I remember it being an anonymous call and her saying my daughter was sexually harassed and retaliated against and fired, where can she go for help? I was mortified.' ”

Is This the Mother of Joe Biden's Accuser Talking to CNN in 1993?  . . . "Journalists have largely buried this story. ABC, NBC and CNN have not reported on it AT ALL. CBS, PBS and MSNBC have offered very minimal coverage. How long will journalists keep covering up this explosive story?
"For more on how journalists have (or have not) covered Tara Reade, go here
"UPDATE: 7:12 p.m. Eastern. The Daily Caller News Foundation’s Mary Margaret Olohan published a story that not only featured both The Intercept’s original item and our video, but a statement from Reade:

Reade reminded the DCNF that she had told reporters that her mother called the Larry King show about her alleged assault.
“I just heard audio, my mother died and hearing her voice made me cry. She was such a good mom and always watching out for me even now,” she said, adding that the video proves what she has been saying: “that I was forced out and wanted to come forward in 1993.”

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly of Celebrity Reactions to Being Cooped Up During the Wuhan Virus Outbreak

RedState  "Despite being a perfect example of what it is to be massively out of touch with everyone else due to wealth combining with ideological isolation, celebrities and artists do serve a purpose. They are, first and foremost, entertainers.
"For the most part, we get pretty annoyed with celebrities who put social outreach and political change before their jobs. It’s a bad habit Hollywood has developed over the years, and it’s become so bad that even fellow celebrities have had to shame their colleagues into recognizing their place such as Ricky Gervais did at the Golden Globes."

. . . "During this Wuhan virus pandemic, celebrities have reacted in various ways. Some of them are doing the exact opposite of what they should be doing and are attempting to exhibit some kind of thought leadership, or what they think thought leadership is.
"Others are doing exactly what they should be doing and are doing what it is their job to do; entertain.
"I like to end on a good note so let’s get the bad examples out of the way first." . . .

Trump stands against Coronavirus and press adversaries

Jim Acosta Tries to Spin a Trump-Birx Interaction Into a Controversy, but the Transcript Tells the Real Story  "Because Jim Acosta is Jim Acosta, never a day goes by when there is a White House press briefing where he doesn’t try to make himself the center of attention."
. . . "Clearly, Birx was saying she had not heard of using it as a treatment. She didn’t shoot down any possibilities, but just said she’d not heard of using heat and light in that way." . . .
. . . "Clearly, Birx was saying she had not heard of using it as a treatment. She didn’t shoot down any possibilities, but just said she’d not heard of using heat and light in that way.
"But here’s how Acosta framed it:
Birx disagrees on sunlight as a treatment for the virus: “not as a treatment.” Again top government doctor disagrees with Trump’s scientific ideas at briefing.
More , if you like. But I feel much less intelligent after being told Acosta's view. He and CNN are made for each other, with his ego to match both Barack Obama's and Megan Rapinoes.

No, President Trump Did Not Advise Anyone to Drink Clorox
"Seriously, you could never make this stuff up."
Toon added by TD
"If you watched the press conference for the Coronavirus Task Force Thursday evening, you saw the depraved, corrupt news media at its very worst. After President Trump had a scientist (Bill Bryan, Under Secretary for Science and Technology at DHS) deliver the wonderful news from a study indicating that heat and sunlight rapidly kill the Wuhan Virus, we watched as the reporters in the room literally went into a panic. They simply could not bear the fact that their dream of helping the Democrats destroy America might come to an end as summer dawns in the U.S. It was truly hilarious to watch.
"So of course they had to figure out a way to distract the public from this good news by drumming up yet another false narrative. That new false narrative has been derived from an exchange the President had with the detestable Washington Post hack Phil Rucker. When viewed in context of the full exchange, President Trump said nothing remarkable at all.
"But of course, pretty much the entirety of the fake news media immediately leapt to extract a portion of a sentence out of that context and construct a narrative that the President actually advised people to inject bleach or rubbing alcohol into their bodies.
. . .
"For those who like to read stuff, here is a transcript of what the President actually said:
So, I’m going to ask Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. That’s pretty powerful.[End]
"So, he was attempting to summarize what Bryan had communicated to him and the Task Force members during a briefing held prior to the press conference. He was not giving advice to anyone, and in fact did not at any point suggest anyone drink bleach or rubbing alcohol, as every corrupt media outlet in America is contending this morning." . . .
"Not as a treatment," Birx responded from off to the side, appearing to choose her words carefully. "I mean certainly fever is a good thing when you a fever it helps your body respond. But not as, I've not seen heat or light." : Dr. Birx's response to Trump's discussion topic:  "... .Trump said, pointing toward his head then looking over to Dr. Deborah Birx. "You ever, have you ever heard of that? The heat and the light relative to certain viruses? Yes, but relative to this virus?"
He then responded regrettably to Philip Rucker of the WaPo...
