Blockbuster NYT story on Clinton Foundation money and deals giving Russia control of American uranium mines

 

 Thomas Lifson  "The New York Times published a story just before the morning television news shows went on air today at 6 AM EDT that appears to contain bombshell information about the nexus of many millions of dollars of donations to the Clinton Foundation and U.S. State Department approval and assistance for transactions that bolstered Russian control of a substantial share of the world uranium supply, including mines in the United States.

"Through a complex series of transactions requiring U.S. government approval or assistance over a period of eight years, a Russian atomic energy agency named Rosatom ended up controlling a large share of world uranium production, essential to the generation of electricity, including one fifth of U.S. power capacity." . . . Putin’s latest coup, its nationalistic fervor recalling an era when the newspaper served as the official mouthpiece of the Kremlin: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.”

"The article, in January 2013, detailed how the Russian atomic energy agency, Rosatom, had taken over a Canadian company with uranium-mining stakes stretching from Central Asia to the American West.
