Stephen Colbert gushes during Obama interview: 'I just want to take a moment to drink you in' - Washington Times
“Can we just take a moment,” the host said. “I want to talk. I just want to take a moment to drink you in for just a moment because I’m having to get used to looking at a president again. You know, I’ve gotten out of — I’ve gotten out of the habit. I have to warm up for Joe Biden. I don’t want to pull anything when I see him take the oath of office.”
Reminder: Barack Obama Is Un-American and Awful – PJ Media . . ."Just a couple of days ago, we were going over the fact that he’s such a narcissistic tool that he couldn’t back off the ego and help his buddy Amtrak Joe with a photo opp boost. All he had to do was show up, smile, and let Biden be bathed in nostalgia and hope for the future. But, President Mom Jeans being President Mom Jeans, he had to remind everyone that he was the alpha male and his old pal Joe was the runt of the litter.". . . Obama Brags About Obama, Claims He Forced Europe to Stand up to Russian Invasion of Crimea – RedState . . .Same guy, by the way, who in 2012 ridiculously drew a “red line” in the Middle East, vowing that the use of chemical weapons by Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad would be a “game-changer.” Sure it was. Bottom line: Al-Assad proceeded to use chemical weapons against his own people, killing an estimated 1,500 men, women, and children. And Barack “Red Line” Obama? He folded up like a cheap suit.
"Even worse, as noted by Fox, Obama also in 2012 infamously ridiculed Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney (oh, hell — here come the random Romney blasts) for identifying Russia as America’s “number one geopolitical foe” — a valid claim in 2012. During a presidential debate, Chicago Jesus Obama smirked:". . .
Obama: Same Old Narcissist as Always – PJ Media "There is no one in this world that Barack Obama loves more than himself. The moment he walks into a room, everything is about him. He loves attention—he craves it.
"And when he returned to the White House on Tuesday, it’s no surprise that he couldn’t stop talking about himself in his speech.". . .
UPDATE: Ouch: Obama Snubbed Biden at the White House, and It’s the Saddest Thing You’ve Ever Seen – PJ Media . . ."Seriously, have you ever seen anything sadder? Joe Biden thinks that because he’s the president (or at least pretending to be), he’s the coolest guy in the room, but no one cared about him. Instead, they were all basking in the glow of Obama, who so clearly was in love with himself and all the attention he was getting."
To Obama, Biden is nothing more than a useful idiot. Biden likes to make it out like they’re best friends, but Obama was clearly snubbing Biden like he was crop-dusting the room and trying to make an escape.
Goldberg: Barack Obama shows his vindictive side in shutdown fight - Newsday . . ."What's unusual is the way Obama sees the government as a tool for his ideological agenda. During the fight over the sequester, Obama ordered the government to make the 2 percent budget cut as painful and scary as possible.
""It's going to be very painful for the flying public," Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood warned Americans.
"" 'The FAA's all-hands furloughs managed to convert a less than 4 percent FAA budget cut into a 10 percent air-traffic control cut that would delay 40 percent of flights," The Wall Street Journal noted at the time.
"The Department of Homeland Security announced it might not be able to protect the nation's borders, and in an effort to prove the point summarily released a couple thousand immigrant detainees, many of them with criminal records.
"Obama, the avowed problem solver, set out to create problems for the American people, just to prove how great government is and how crazy Republicans were for wanting to cut spending -- much of the money borrowed from China -- a little. But don't you dare call him an ideologue!
"Now, with the government shutdown and the looming fight over the debt ceiling, Obama's doubling down this ideologically perverse strategy.". . .
