"McCarthy also pointed out Pritzker's almost predictable hypocrisy in the video and added, "If he doesn't want the resources, he shouldn't go to a place where they are succeeding right now. It's really ironic. It just goes to show how little he knows about the city."
"While the media is doing its best to float the notion that black residents do not want ICE agents or National Guard troops in the Windy City, that is not exactly true. Social media is telling a different story. Many black Chicago residents are very welcoming of ICE and National Guard troops, and know they are there to help." . . .

"I mean, it felt like a good idea to set up those ‘Gun-Free Zones,' but people just keep on shooting folks every day for some reason. It doesn't matter how many signs we put up. But maybe… just maybe… if we put up enough signage to let everyone know that there are ‘ICE-Free Zones' in our city, it'll totally work. Let's stay positive, people. Signs can work. Just not for guns, apparently."
