I'm a fair bit older than him so was surrounded by older people who were active in the war as well as parents and their siblings who grew up in the war, two of whom were in the WAF. The nearest I ever got to a war type situation was annual visits to Irish relatives in and around Belfast in the 70s including a couple of very near miss situations; everyone just got on with it and, again, there was that sense of humour. It's been a very long time since UK and Europe have had to deal with this kind of situation and boyo does it show."

I think we HAVE to start showing the photos & videos. Especially to all the young people who support Hamas & their ilk. Stop coddling these young people who are so passionate in their ignorance of things they really don't understand. They protest because it's trendy, not because they believe. How can you believe something you don't even understand? No more "safe spaces". As Ben & Charlie often said "Facts don't care about feelings". Let's show them the FACTS!
