What's next for Trump and Baby Ayatollah?
Bad Ideas Never Die; Price Controls Lead to Shortages ; "Capping prices would reduce incentives to continue or restore production."
"The ignorance on display is enough to make you want to cry. Or maybe to require a test of basic economic literacy as a qualification to serve in government. Or, better yet, to vote."
If you believe in price controls, you will not understand this chart:
| price controls graph - Search Images |
"Price controls are in the Hall of Fame of bad ideas. They have an unbroken record of failure, stretching back literally thousands of years. And yet, they remain alluring to people with no knowledge of either history or economics, or–probably more relevant–to failing governments.
"There was a time when Britain’s government was known for a certain level of financial sophistication. No longer:
[British Chancellor] Rachel Reeves is pressuring supermarkets to cap food prices in an attempt to limit inflation unleashed by the Iran war.
"The Iran war has nothing to do with it. The inflation rate on grocery prices in the U.K. is lower than in mid-2025, and the world has plenty of oil. A temporary disruption of a single channel of transportation will have no impact on gas prices beyond a couple of months:. . . "
Only a Fool or a Politician Would Cap Food Prices - FEE . . . "Indeed, large supermarkets are a marvel of the modern age, on a par with wonders such as the Internet. We have a cornucopia of goods available, allowing us to buy almost anything we could want in multiple variants, from around the world. These are provided to us via the automatic responses of thousands of economic agents to thousands upon thousands of prices, in a web of interactions far beyond the ability of any human mind or machine to duplicate. Tampering with that process is so obviously potentially harmful that only a fool, or a desperate politician, would contemplate it.
"If the government caps the prices of supermarket products, that will make those products unprofitable for the supermarket to stock and also mean that consumers have to pay less for them than their economic value, the consequence being that they will sell out and not be available. Why would I, as a consumer, want key products to be unavailable in supermarkets?"
Disgraced Jew-baiter Thomas Massie Humiliated by 10 Point Loss
At the same time, never did I believe I would live to see the day when a sitting congressman could say something straight out of the Jew-baiting Ku Klux Klan handbook and not be roundly condemned. Hopefully, the House of Representatives will censure him before he prances out of office in a Stephen Colbert-style cloud of self-celebration.
"After losing his primary to former Navy SEAL Ed Gallrein, incumbent U.S. Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) is about to have a lot more time on his hands to hate Jews and pretend he cares about Jeffrey Epstein’s victims.
"While it’s glorious that this self-regarding narcissist lost, even more glorious is that he got himself humiliated by a ten-point margin — ten points — 55 to 45 percent, with 99 percent of the vote counted.
"Wait, there’s more…
"If you want to understand President Trump’s ability to deliver votes, the math is pretty remarkable." . . .
. . . "Personally, I want to thank Massie for making his defeat all the sweeter with these opening lines from his despicable concession speech:
Massie: "I would have come out sooner but I had to call my opponent to concede and it took a while to find him in Tel Aviv"More...
Mosque Shooting Revives Scrutiny Over 9/11 Ties, Imam’s Pro‑Oct. 7 Remarks
Breitbart To post more on this would be to make a case for the actions of the murderous shooters which must be condemned. They were no better than Hamas was that Oct 7th except they had no chance to rape their victims and cook infants alive. We must believe the worshippers at the mosque hated those atrocities. TD
"Lallia Allali, wife of Imam Taha Hassane of the Islamic Center of San Diego, post this horrific image to her Facebook profile. The graphic shows a Jewish star murdering babies with “the devil is killing” at the bottom."
. . . "The Union-Tribune later described the post as “a graphic and deplorable antisemitic image,” writing that after confirming the repost, “we accepted her resignation and removed her from the list of board members and contributors on our website.”
"The University of San Diego similarly announced that Allali had stepped away from teaching, stating: “While individuals have the right to express their views on their personal accounts, they do not reflect the views of USD leadership nor any official position of the university.”
"Rabbi Abraham Cooper, associate dean and global social action director of the Simon Wiesenthal Center, sharply condemned the post at the time, calling it a modern “blood libel” and describing the imagery as “despicable and deplorable.”
Part I: The Politicization of the Federal Courts During the Second Trump Presidency
The ideological concentration of injunctions in five jurisdictions is not accidental. Activist legal organizations deliberately file in districts where they know sympathetic Obama or Biden appointees sit. The ACLU, SPLC-affiliated groups, and the network of progressive legal nonprofits have essentially mapped the federal judiciary for political opportunity, identifying which judges will reliably deliver the results their donors demand.
"Many rank-and-file Republicans and political commentators have expressed shock at the unprecedented lawfare being employed by the Democrat Party and its political allies against President Trump during his second term. Over 700 lawsuits have been filed against the Trump administration, and the number of executive orders impeded/blocked by Democrat/left-wing activist judges currently exceeds 200 (full and partial).
"This is Part I of a two-part series that examines the politicization of the federal judiciary by the Democrat left and the crisis it presents for our constitutional republic.
A Constitutional Crisis Unlike Any Before
"When President Donald Trump returned to office in January 2025, carrying one of the most decisive electoral mandates in modern American history—winning the popular vote, the Electoral College, and commanding congressional majorities—the American people had spoken with clarity. They voted for border security, executive accountability, bureaucratic reform, and a rollback of the radical progressive agenda that had reshaped federal policy during the Biden years.
"What greeted that mandate was not the loyal opposition of a democratic republic but something increasingly difficult to characterize as anything other than a judicial insurrection: a coordinated, systematic campaign by Democrat-appointed federal judges to nullify the results of a free election through the mechanisms of the courtroom. The scale, speed, audacity, and ideological uniformity of the resistance was—and remains—without precedent in American constitutional history.
"This analysis examines that resistance from a traditionalist constitutional conservative perspective: one grounded in the original understanding of the separation of powers, the proper role of Article III courts, the democratic legitimacy of the executive branch, and the republican principle that elections must mean something." . . .

A Democrat Called for Imprisoning American Zionists – Her Party Blamed the GOP
"She did not emerge from nowhere. She emerged from a political ecosystem that has made anti-Zionist rhetoric increasingly normalized within Democratic coalition politics. Jeffries knows this. His statement does not engage it."
Would AOC fake-cry for Jews who are locked up by Democrats?
Around the world, and especially here at home in the Democrat party, the Islamo-leftists’ fanatic hatred for Jews is creating a very scary 1938 vibe

From Sleeper Cells to Liberation Army: Trump’s Genius Plan to Free Iran and Secure America
Iran’s regime is vulnerable not to foreign force but to its own people—and the West should prioritize empowering internal dissent over costly intervention.
"Critics will call it reckless, but arming free people against tyrants is as American as 1776. The Iranian people are not radicals—they are good, proud descendants of an ancient civilization starved of freedom. They want what we have: self-determination, prosperity, and the tools to protect it."
"The regime in Tehran trembles not because of American bombers or sanctions alone, but because its greatest nightmare has always been the Iranian people themselves. While the chattering class in Washington and on cable news wrings its hands over “escalation” and “doom,” they miss the most powerful weapon President Trump has quietly at his disposal: Trump’s Silent Liberation Army—the millions of freedom-loving Iranians ready to reclaim their nation.
"Recent uprisings in Iran, building on the spirit of the 2022 Mahsa Amini protests and exploding into nationwide fury by late 2025 and early 2026, have shown the world the depth of popular discontent. Reports from reliable sources indicate massive demonstrations: up to 5 million protesters nationwide at peaks, with 1.5 million in Tehran alone on key days. These are not fringe agitators; they are ordinary Iranians—shopkeepers, students, workers, mothers—risking death for basic dignity, economic survival, and an end to theocratic oppression. Authorities have responded with brutality, killing thousands (estimates range from official figures around 30,000 to human rights reports far higher) and detaining tens of thousands. Yet the regime’s iron fist has only exposed its fragility.
"This internal powder keg is Trump’s ace. The mullahs fear their own citizens far more than foreign militaries. Why? Because history proves that when a people are armed and determined, tyrannies crumble quickly. The American Revolution succeeded when France provided arms to colonists fighting for liberty. In our own Founding, the right to bear arms was not a luxury—it was essential to self-defense against tyranny. Why deny that same fundamental right to Iranians who crave it?
"Meanwhile, the threats we face at home grow dire. Iranian-linked operatives have long exploited weaknesses, including Venezuelan passports issued under Maduro to thousands from Iran, Syria, Lebanon, and Hezbollah affiliates, facilitating movement into the Americas. US intelligence and border reports from 2025 onward highlight heightened risks: potential sleeper cells embedded here; they are among the millions who entered unvetted during prior open-border policies. DHS bulletins warn of elevated threats, including plots for sabotage, cyberattacks, or worse—dirty bombs, infrastructure hits, and even assassination attempts tied back to Tehran. The regime has already tried to target American leaders; they won’t hesitate to activate assets if cornered." . . .More...
New: Alleged Manifesto in San Diego Mosque Mass Shooting Throws Wrench in Early Assumptions About Motives
Details on the shooters writings against Muslims, Jews, Blacks, and Trump/Vance.
"According to the manifesto, the attackers behind the San Diego Islamic Center attack scoped out multiple “diverse targets” and were leaving it to fate if they could hit more than one location. For the people asking, “If they hated Jews, why attack an Islamic Center?” because just like the KKK, they hated BOTH Muslims and Jews."
"The Post additionally reported that Vazquez left behind a 75-page manifesto.
“I am a straight male. I am certainly not left wing, nor am I right wing — especially not with MAGA or Trump. Politically, I’d call myself a Third Positionist, specifically aligning most with National Socialism and eco-fascism, though any form of Third Positionism,” Vasquez wrote in the manifesto, according to outlet.
“Let me preface this by saying I don’t hate Muslims, at least not really,” he wrote. “What I do hate is the religion of Islam itself and what I hate more than that is seeing them here, invading my country.”
"As RedState reported, there was a mass shooting at the Islamic Center of San Diego on Monday, just before noon Pacific time.
"Three people were killed, including a security guard at the mosque named Amin Abdullah, who reportedly "played a pivotal role" in saving lives.
"The two teenagers who San Diego police say opened fire have been identified as 17-year-old Cain Lee Clark and 18-year-old Caleb Liam Vazquez (earlier reports that had his last name listed as Velasquez were incorrect). They reportedly became friends online, where they were radicalized. Both were found dead a few blocks away in a car with what investigators believe were self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
"Early on, San Diego Police Chief Scott Wahl told reporters without going into too much detail that "There was definitely hate rhetoric involved" in the shootings.
"On Tuesday, however, some of the pages from the alleged manifesto of the shooters were shared in an X thread by San Diego activist Amy Reichert, and it disrupted some of the narratives that have been spouted by The Usual Suspects about how the gunmen must have been extremist right-wing pro-Trump/Vance MAGAs who were motivated by a hatred of Muslims (language warning): . . ."
| Al Jazeera |
"The two teenage gunmen who fired shots at a San Diego Islamic center purportedly livestreamed the sinister event.
"The video, seen by the New York Post, appears to show Cain Clark, a 17-year-old homeschooled wrestler, and Caleb Vazquez, 18, storming the mosque as they opened fire.
"In one particularly disturbing scene, the pair can be seen standing over a pool of blood and a body before they get back into their BMW, the Post reports.
The teenage suspects killed three people outside the San Diego mosque on Monday.
San Diego mosque shooters met online, FBI says | AP News . . . "The pair “didn’t discriminate on who they hated,” Mark Remily, the lead FBI agent in San Diego, said Tuesday.
"The writings, obtained by The Associated Press, include hateful rhetoric toward Jewish people, Muslims and Islam, as well as the LGBTQ+ community, Black people, women, and both the political left and right. Both express beliefs that white people are being eliminated, and one writes about mental health struggles and being rejected by women." . . .
Tragedy in San Diego Must Not Become a Tool for Islamization › American Greatness. . . "But we cannot allow this horrible incident to be used to strengthen the Islamization of America. This attack took place in California, which is already well on its way to becoming an official Islamic state; we cannot let this heinous crime be used to further that pathway. The dead must be mourned, but we must not let them become martyrs." . . .

A Republican Can Be California’s Next Governor If Republicans Turn Out
Robin M. Itzler - American Thinker
"Should only one or neither Republican candidate make it to the general election, anger and disgust should be directed at the lazy 65 percent of Republicans who probably complain the loudest but don’t bother to vote."
"In the 2024 senatorial primary, then-Democratic Representatives Adam Schiff and Katie Porter held the one-two spot for a long time. But the last thing Democrats wanted was for Schiff and Porter to win the jungle primary and advance to the general election, where the two Democrats would spend months and dollars attacking each other.
"The Schiff campaign started ignoring Porter and began attacking Republican candidate Steve Garvey for his conservative positions. Garvey, a former Los Angeles Dodger, had name recognition but lacked money to advertise throughout the “yuuge” state. Schiff’s attacks introduced Garvey to the populace as the “conservative” candidate.
"Suddenly, Republicans were learning more about Steve Garvey, and they liked what Schiff was telling them.
"Garvey moved up in the polls, and Porter moved down, finally out of contention. (Porter was very angry but did not throw hot mashed potatoes on Schiff’s head.)
"The 2024 senatorial general election was now Democrat Schiff versus Republican Garvy(sp). It was such a “close” race that most media outlets called it for Schiff minutes after the polls closed." . . .More...

New Wildfire Scorches 700 Acres Near Simi Valley as L.A. Mayoral Race Heats Up And so it begins.
The Sandy Fire’s eruption just two weeks before the June 2 mayoral primary is a clear sign that wildfire prevention and preparedness should be on forefront of any political discussion related to Southern California.
"The Ventura County Fire Department said the fire is still threatening structures, and evacuation orders and warnings remain in place.
"Approximately 500 firefighters are assigned to battle the blaze, and firefighting aircraft are continuing to douse flames with retardant and water to support crews on the ground." . . .
Supreme Court backs CA parents' right to be told about trans students "The Supreme Court on March 2 backed parents’ right to be told if their child changes their name, or pronouns they’re using in school, blocking California rules aimed at preventing teachers from outing transgender students to their parents.
“Under long-established precedent, parents − not the State − have primary authority with respect to ‘the upbringing and education of children,'” the majority said in an unsigned opinion. “The right protected by these precedents includes the right not to be shut out of participation in decisions regarding their children’s mental health.”
"The court’s three liberal justices dissented from the decision to grant the parents’ emergency request." . . .
