Concern for the environment is a good thing, but the environmentalist movement is not. Environmentalists use the environment to create a social revolution just as communists used workers to create a social revolution.
Environmentalists are, intentionally or not, in collusion with Vladimir Putin to undermine America and the West.
"For more than 40 years, the environmentalist movement has been warning that global warming is the result of mankind’s burning of fossil fuels and poses an “existential threat” to human and other biological life.
"This is one of the many grandiose lies the Left uses to reshape, if not destroy, Western civilization. Other grandiose lies used to achieve that result include America being systemically racist; that violent crime is the result of racism and poverty; men give birth; sex and gender are “nonbinary”; and that former President Donald Trump was a Russian asset.
"It should now be obvious that the “Greens,” the environmentalist movement—not global warming—poses an existential threat to humanity. For the first time since the Cuban missile crisis of 1962, the world faces the possibility of a nuclear war. Russia is explicitly threatening use of nuclear weapons should the West come to the defense of Ukraine and has put its military on nuclear alert. Given the possibility that Russian President Vladimir Putin is deranged, the threat is far more real than it was in 1962 when Nikita Khrushchev was the leader of the Soviet Union. Putin believes he embodies Russia (just as Hitler believed he embodied Germany). Khrushchev did not believe he embodied Russia.
"Were it not for the green movement, Putin would not have been confident that he could get away with invading Ukraine. During Trump’s presidency, and due to his policies, the United States became independent of foreign oil for the first time. Within months of assuming power, the Democratic Party, an extension of the environmentalist movement, forced America to revert to dependence on foreign oil, including Russian oil. Beholden to the environmentalists, candidate Joe Biden made promise after promise to curtail oil and gas production: no new fracking on government land, no drilling in the Alaskan Arctic, and shutting down the Keystone pipeline.". . .
New Biden Dept. of Energy hire is a nonbinary drag queen — 'an asset,' say queer activists (msn.com)
Viral social media posts claim that President Joe Biden has hired a drag queen to head up the Department of Energy’s nuclear waste issues efforts. "Fuel and Waste Disposition in the Energy Department’s Office of Nuclear Energy in January 2022. Before joining the Department of Energy, Brinton was most famous as an gender non-binary activist, and made headlines for wearing a gender-fluid outfit to the 2018 Academy Awards ceremony. The picture accompanying some of the posts is Brinton in the Academy Awards outfit.
"The Daily Mail reported that Brinton was a member of a drag queen group called the Order of Perpetual Indulgence, including a picture from Brinton’s Instagram account showing Brinton at a Sisters of the Order of Perpetual Indulgence event.
"The Department of Energy told the Washington Examiner that while Brinton was being considered for a career appointment, the role is not a political appointment. So, while Brinton is joining the Department of Energy, Brinton is not a “Biden nominee” as some have claimed.
"The Department of Energy told The Dispatch Fact Check that Brinton’s position is “not an appointment through the Biden-Harris administration,” but that it was “unable to comment on any additional personnel matters related to that post at the moment.”. . .
It's bad enough to have dangerous psychos out on the street, threatening our lives because there's something wrong with their brains. The least we can expect is that they aren't D.A.s." ... (...Kamala Harris endorsed Gascon.)
Ann Coulter "Hey, whatever happened to that story about Sandra Shells? She was the 70-year-old nurse killed by one of Los Angeles' many "unhoused" individuals (drug-addicted psychopaths) while she waited for a bus at 5:15 in the morning in January, on her way to her job at the Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center.
"A homeless guy, Kerry Bell, walked up to Shells and punched her in the face, knocking her to the ground and fracturing her skull. She died of her injuries three days later.
"Her life mattered more even than, say, George Floyd's -- and I can prove it.
1) Shells was a hardworking nurse, remembered as "kind, compassionate and giving" and a favorite of patients.
2) There is no evidence that she'd ever committed a home invasion robbery on a woman in Texas, pistol-whipped the woman and put a gun to her abdomen.
3) She was not a meth addict.
4) She did not have a long rap sheet, including selling cocaine, selling crack and theft.
5) She was merely standing at a bus stop -- not, for example, resisting arrest after passing a counterfeit bill and having the police called on her

"Just remember, when Mitt Romney said Russia was America’s greatest threat, Barack Obama scoffed, and a sycophantic media followed like so many lemmings."
American Thinker . . ."But the greatest measure of incompetence goes to President Biden and the European environmental movement. By cutting off the Keystone XL Pipeline and withdrawing support for Eastern Mediterranean Pipeline, Biden increased dramatically the West’s dependence on foreign oil.
"For their part, the European environmental movement acted as if Chernobyl was the engineering standard for nuclear reactors and made much of Europe dependent on Russian oil and gas.
"Even if we give up the 500,000 barrels of dirty oil we import from Russia every day, the Europeans do not have the luxury of shutting down Russian imports. They are not going to sit in the dark and shiver. NATO will find a big crack in its armor.
"Yes, the atrocities we see daily from the streets of Ukrainian cities are a consequence of Russia’s decision not only to invade Ukraine but also to pursue a war without the constraints of decency, not to mention the Geneva Conventions.
"The great curse that should never fall upon us is that someday we might be a second or third-rate power and we and our children will have to bear the consequences of the incompetent decision-making of some great power.". . .

Kamala Proves the Peter Principle - American Thinker
"Most of my life, I assumed that we elected serious politicians and appointed competent people to deal with the country’s complex problems -- the Cold War, the Vietnam War, the Civil Rights Movement, the economy, immigration, terrorism, foreign policy, natural disasters, etc. -- major problems that required competent people, serious about addressing (and fixing) the issues.
"That was then, this is now. America is no longer a serious country, and the West is not a serious culture. Proof of how far we’ve fallen -- boys claim they’re girls, girls claim they’re boys and we must accept the new biology or be canceled; racism is openly taught in public schools under the lie called Critical Race Theory (thank you, teachers unions); schoolchildren are taught to hate the country’s very founding claiming more racism; the military is focused on white rage (not defeating our enemies); and we installed an imbecile (as president) who mumbles the words his handlers put on the teleprompter. Vice President (VP) Kamala Harris is further proof that, as a nation, we’re unserious.
"Watching Kamala, Biden, Tony Blinken, Pete Buttigieg, etc. it’s obvious that the Peter Principle is at work. The Peter Principle says that people rise to the level of their incompetence. During Obama’s presidency, everyone joked that he selected Biden for VP because Biden’s incompetency insured that Obama would never be impeached. Yes, Obama was bad, but Biden would be worse. Now that Biden’s the president, that joke was 100% correct. Sadly, he’s multiple times worse than anyone imagined. ". . .

Rule by incivility, live to regret it. |
The American Spectator . . ".If Obama had not behaved in manners aimed at humiliating opponents like John McCain, and if Democrats had treated Trump civilly, and if Nancy Pelosi had been proper with Boebert and MTG, they would not have broken protocol at SOTU. Unfortunately, Pelosi has denied MTG committee assignments, banned Republican selections for her January 6 hatchet commission, and regularly flouts civility. Therefore, expect Kevin McCarthy to oust Ilhan Omar from her perch on the House Foreign Affairs Committee when payday comes. As for Rashida Tlaib on Finance and on House Oversight and Reform, we shall see.
"Thus the warning to the Congressional Woke: Nothing goes unnoticed. You can destroy curricula in inner-city public schools, where Black kids tragically will pay years later for curricula and text books based on critical race studies, 1619 history, woke math, and no cursive writing or graded exams. But laws of physics — like Newton’s three laws of motion, his law of universal gravitation, and the laws of thermodynamics — assure that, for every Squad or other Woke outrage, there will be an equal and opposite reaction that will come back to bite. If not for Obama, there would not have been Trump. If not for AOC, there would not be MTG. And if not for Biden and Pelosi, we would not soon see a GOP House and, two years thence, a coherent President.". . .
Katie Pavlich "As Europe grapples with skyrocketing energy costs as a result of appeasing radical climate activists and outsourcing energy production to hostile regimes, steps on how countries like Germany got here are being retraced.
"During a speech to the United Nations in 2018, President Donald Trump warned Germany against becoming dependent on Russian oil and gas. They laughed it off. "
"Reliance on a single foreign supplier can leave a nation vulnerable to extortion and intimidation. That is why we congratulate European states, such as Poland, for leading the construction of a Baltic pipeline so that nations are not dependent on Russia to meet their energy needs. Germany will become totally dependent on Russian energy if it does not immediately change course," Trump said. "Here in the Western Hemisphere, we are committed to maintaining our independence from the encroachment of expansionist foreign powers." ". . .

"Who wants to tell them? Now that Joe Biden has gotten pushed into an embargo on Russian oil imports — with Senate Democrats doing a considerable amount of the shoving — the inevitable problem of consumer shock at gas prices will have to get tackled next. The ban on Russian oil will definitely keep those prices escalating, unless the US can find much more production to replace it.
"And that has Senate Democrats panicking in a midterm cycle that already looked like a disaster:. . ."
There it is. Biden gives away the game: "It should motivate us to make the transition to clean energy...Loosening environmental regulations won't...lower energy prices...Transforming our economy to run on electric vehicles powered by clean energy...will help." pic.twitter.com/tS9GCfeTOK

Manchin, Tester: Why is Biden asking hostile regimes to solve US energy problems? – HotAir "The answer may amaze you! Er, no it doesn’t, but the fact that two key Senate Democrats have raised the question publicly might. Additionally, Trump ordered a raid by U.S. Special Operations forces that successfully took out Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, the leader of the Islamic State group — ISIS. All of which sent a message to the world — and specifically in the case of the Russians — Putin. The message, yet again: Don’t mess with Trump. Putin didn’t..
"Remember Never Trump?
For four years, an influential clique of think tankers, Republican operatives and talking heads claimed that any conservative who supported Donald Trump was complicit with a uniquely malevolent presidency. But if Trumpian conservatives are responsible for everything the 45th president was faulted for, then Never Trump should likewise own the evils of the new Biden administration.
Never Trumpers spoke of the Trump GOP almost as if it were Saddam Hussein’s Ba’ath Party, a dictator’s discredited political organ, badly in need of a purge.
“President Donald Trump leaves office with a crimson-stained legacy,” thundered Peter Wehner, vice president of the Ethics and Public Policy Center. “A similar stain attaches to those in the party who supported and sustained him.”
William Kristol, a prominent Twitter user, condemned Trump’s “enablers”: “They share the responsibility. They share the guilt. They ought to share the opprobrium.”
"Fair enough. I am all too happy to have supported the president who unhesitatingly attacked what Newsweek described in 2018 as “forces loyal to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad” — which included Russians. Newsweek reported this:"
