The First Lady's Guest List for Tonight Is Fascinating

 Sarah Anderson

"You're supposed to be one of the country's great leaders, and you're face-to-face with your constituents, such as the mothers of young girls who were violently murdered. Your plan? Using hand-clappers, walk-outs, and egg cartons to throw fits because your side didn't win an election. No wonder these people lost."

"When Donald Trump takes the stage to deliver his speech to a joint session of Congress tonight, his wife, Melania, will be in the audience, and she'll have several unique guests with her. But they're not celebrities or dignitaries. They're everyday Americans "from all different walks of life" whose lives have been impacted by "disaster wrought by the previous administration."

"Some of the First Lady's guests have been victims of crimes committed by people who are in the United States illegally, like Allyson and Lauren Phillips of Woodstock, Ga. You might know them better as the mother and sister of Laken Riley, the young nursing student who was brutally murdered on the University of Georgia campus by a Venezuelan gang member who was not only in the U.S. illegally but had also committed many previous crimes.

"Mrs. Trump will also have Alexis Nungaray of Houston, Texas, at the speech. Nungaray's 12-year-old daughter, Jocelyn, was murdered by two men whom the Biden administration caught at the border and released into the U.S. just weeks before they committed the heinous crime. U.S. Border Patrol agent Roberto Ortiz will be in attendance as well. While serving in Texas, he's been shot at many times by dangerous cartel members.

"Remember Corey Comperatore, the firefighter who was shot and killed when a gunman tried to assassinate Trump at a rally last July? His widow, Helen, and their daughters, Allyson and Kaylee, will join the first lady on Tuesday night. " . . .

. . ."A couple of the First Lady's guests have been the victims of abhorrent gender issues. January Littlejohn of Tallahassee, Fla., is the mother of a young girl whose "middle school socially transitioned" her "to a different sexual identity without January and her husband’s knowledge or permission." Littlejohn is now a parents' rights advocate.

"Payton McNabb of Murphy, N.C., a young female volleyball player who had to step away from the sport "when a biological man playing on the opposing women’s team spiked the volleyball at Payton’s face, leaving her with a traumatic brain injury," will be there. McNabb is now a member of the Independent Women’s Forum and an advocate for girls' sports." . . .

The Evil People Surrounding Volodymyr Zelenskyy

Zelenskyy blew up this meeting at the behest of globalist elites — Rice, Nuland, Blinken and others — who are desperate to keep this war going.

"For example, we know that Putin will sign no cease-fire where the U.S. either has troops in Ukraine or is obligated by treaty to put them there."

Kerry, Obama, and Susan Rice.

. . ."Over the weekend the New York Post’s Michael Goodwin shed even more light on why, 40 minutes into a 53-minute press avail that was going very amicably and cruising into completion of a half-trillion-dollar mineral rights deal which would have created the circumstances for peace between Ukraine and Russia, everything blew up.

A common criticism of Volodymyr Zelensky’s disastrous Friday performance in the Oval Office is that he failed to read the room.

Actually, the Ukrainian president did read a room — but it was the wrong room.

Before meeting Trump, Zelensky met with anti-Trump Democrats who advised him to reject the terms of the mineral deal the president was offering, according to Sen. Chris Murphy (D-Conn.).

“Just finished a meeting with President Zelensky here in Washington. He confirmed that the Ukrainian people will not support a fake peace agreement where Putin gets everything he wants and there are no security arrangements for Ukraine,” Murphy’s office posted on X at 11:15 a.m. Friday.

He attached a picture of Zelensky at a conference table, with Murphy seated on the opposite side.

Forty minutes later, Zelensky arrived at the White House, where Trump met his car, smiled, shook his hand and walked him into the Oval Office.

The meeting, as the world now knows, quickly went off the rails and ended with Trump angrily ejecting the arrogant ingrate from the White House.

The earlier meeting with Dems undercuts wild claims that Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance staged an ambush. In fact, it was Zelensky who came with an ulterior motive.

The purpose of the meeting was to sign the mineral agreement he and Trump representatives had negotiated. He had twice refused to sign it after promising to, and thanks to Murphy, we now know he had no intention of signing it Friday.

By listening to the nakedly partisan advice of Dems instead of dealing forthrightly with the current president, Zelensky betrayed his countrymen and, for now at least, leaves them without the military and diplomatic protection that only America can provide.

"By Sunday, Zelenskyy had traveled to London and secured a commitment for, not a half-trillion dollars in aid for his country, but … $3 billion.

"And in the meantime he had issued repeated messages on X claiming his “readiness” to sign the mineral rights deal with the U.S. but maintaining his demand for security guarantees."...

Bondi Reveals FBI Delivered 'Truckload' of Jeffrey Epstein Files, Meanwhile Top Bureau Official Resigns

 RedState

Toon added by TD

"Two FBI stories broke Monday, and they very well may be connected. First, the New York Field Office’s top agent, James Dennehy, resigned, claiming that he had been told he’d be fired if he didn’t. Second, Attorney General Pam Bondi announced that the Bureau had dropped off a “truckload” of Jeffrey Epstein files after she’d set a hard deadline for their turnover.

"Coincidence?

"As we reported, Bondi had promised to deliver the potential bombshell files, which she did to select independent conservative media influencers Thursday, but things didn’t necessarily go as planned. The files were heavily redacted and contained mostly information that had been made public previously.

"On that same Thursday, Bondi was notified by a whistleblower that the FBI had not in fact turned over all the documents as they had promised, so she ordered Director Kash Patel to deliver them post-haste.

"On Monday evening, she announced on Sean Hannity’s Fox News show that now she finally has them:

U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi revealed that the Department of Justice has received more Jeffery Epstein files from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) after the document release she touted last week fell flat.

Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity on Tuesday [sic] night, Bondi confirmed that a "truckload" of Epstein files were delivered by the FBI after she gave the agency until 8 a.m. on Friday morning to deliver.

Bondi said that officials will go through the files "as fast as we can," while also being careful to protect Epstein's victims. . . .

Desperate Democrats; what sort of clown show will we see tonight? Karoline Leavitt UPDATE

 Don Surber

"I mean it is not as if far-left candidates are not running the party. Democrats dumped Joe Manchin but kept AOC and the rest of the Odd Squad."

The Great Capitulation continues as Trump’s enemies bend at the knee like he was BLM. The Associated Press reported, “Democratic activists fueled anti-Trump protests at GOP town halls but also rage at their own party.”
"Ah. I see. AP openly admits the protests were not a grassroots effort but lefty kabuki theater with paid actors.
"Before Trump kicked AP out of the Oval Office and off Air Force One, the Hamas-shielding outlet would not have bothered reporting that the crowds at townhall meetings were Democrat actors. Access is everything in journalism. AP wants its back.
"The news channels have ditched some of Trump’s biggest nuisances in the quest for returning ratings to the levels of Trump’s first term. Joy Reid, Woodchuck Todd and Jimmy the Geek Acosta have departed either voluntarily or by the collar and belt by management throwing them out the door.
"This reflects a disinterest in four more years of on-air tantrums over Trump." . . .
. . ."Democrats are desperate. Under Obama, they followed the money and worked for the elitists. This made Obama rich but cost the party its traditional base of the middle-class. I don’t think the people they sneered at want them back." . . .
Tonight will we see Hamas scarves?

. . .Democrats simply wouldn't be Democrats without the grandstanding, gaslighting, and temper tantrums, all of which have predictably been on full display ahead of the joint address to Congress that President Donald Trump will be giving Tuesday night.

The Democrats are out in full propaganda mode ahead of Trump’s speech tonight.

UPDATE: Karoline Leavitt Rips Dems Over Report They Plan to Protest Trump's Speech With Noisemakers, Egg Cartons  . . . "A wide array of props — including noisemakers — has also been floated," Axios revealed.

"The report suggests that Democrats may use their little ping pong paddles made of popsicle sticks with messages written on them as well, à la Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI) during last year's speech by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as egg cartons to protest inflation, something they were big fans of for four years.

"They might also be bringing hand-clappers and coordinating the color of their outfits. It's pre-school in Congress, ladies and gentlemen!

"No word on whether those outfits will also feature kente cloths or if those particular political props are out of style these days." . .  .

The Resistance To Climate Alarmism Grows

 Issues & Insights

We expect the alarmists, if any of them read this, will accuse us of being paid off by the oil industry. If only. We could use the cash.

Mike Beckom

"The end is near. That’s what we’ve been told since the beginning. The doomsdayers have cited a variety of cataclysms that will do us in, from asteroids to resource exhaustion to a dying sun. But they all have one thing in common: So far, they’ve all been wrong. Same with the climate alarmists. And the public is catching on.

"A study, published by the Stanford University School of Sustainability, no less, found that “resistance to climate action has become a global movement that strengthens after governments implement climate-related policies.”

“ 'We found that counter climate change organizations tend to emerge after pro-environmental policies are institutionalized in government,” said the study’s senior author.

"Of course they do. As our friends at the Committee to Unleash Prosperity observed, this has happened “maybe because the war on fossil fuels has deindustrialized Germany and many other European nations. Maybe it’s because green energy is so much more expensive to produce. Maybe because the biggest polluters like China have done nothing.”

"Let’s add another “maybe.” The resistance is likely also based on a growing skepticism. We have been bombarded by global warming scare stories for more than three decades and yet we’re still here. No matter how much the alarmists cheat, lie, obfuscate and bully, it’s obvious that the entire narrative is based on assumptions, speculation and political ideology. Every claim they make can be easily refuted. To name a few, which we’ll call the big three:

"We just lived through the hottest year/month/week/day on record. This is meaningless. Hottest compared to what? The only reliable measure we have is from satellite readings that go back to only 1979 and they show nothing to get worked up about.

"All other data are entirely unreliable. Mixing tree rings, mercury thermometer records that are “adjusted,” numbers from nonexistent and compromised weather stations and modern equipment to whip up widespread fear is scientific malpractice." . . .

UPDATE: People Are Increasingly Skeptical of the Climate Scolds - Because the Scolds Are So Often Wrong  "A great man once said, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time."

"And yet that's what the climate doom-cryers have been trying to do for the last few decades, from Al "I've never gotten over the 2000 election" Gore to the Swedish Doom Pixie Greta "How DARE you!" Thunberg." Remainder behind a pay wall.

Bill O'Reilly Asks What If Kamala Harris Were Elected President   "Bill O'Reilly goes into detail on what a Kamala Harris presidency would have meant for the country, and what President Trump has accomplished so far."

Trump tells Jewish Republicans 'Israel is gone' if Harris wins - POLITICO

“ 'I will keep America safe and I will work with you to make sure Israel is with us for thousands of years,” Trump said in remarks from New York. “We’re not going to let go of it.' ” . . . Don't say that on American campuses!

Israel will not exist if Harris is elected, Trump claims in fiery debate - The Jewish Chronicle   "Vice-President Kamala Harris insisted the Israel Hamas war must "end immediately" while Trump claimed she "hates Israel" and ducked a meeting with Bejamin Netanyahu for a sorority party in the combustive first debate between the pair.

"Speaking in Philadelphia, the presidential candidates both pledged to help defend Israel but clashed over who had a stronger record on national security.

"Begining her answer with a potted history of the Israel Hamas war, Harris said Israel has a right to defend itself, “but it matters how.”She said: “Let’s understand how we got here. On October 7, Hamas, a terrorist organisation, slaughtered 1,200 Israelis, many of them young people who were simply attending a concert where women were horribly raped. And so, absolutely… Israel has a right to defend itself...

" 'And how it does so matters, because it is also true that far too many innocent Palestinians have been killed, children, mothers. What we know is that this war must end, it must end immediately, and the way it will end is we need a ceasefire deal and we need the hostages out. So we will continue to work around the clock on that.”

"America should “chart a course for a two-state solution” that would ensure security for Israelis and Palestinians, Harris said."

Is Harris not aware that Palestinians had their own prototype state in Gaza? A separate country free of Jews who were moved out forcefully by Israel to satisfy treaty requirements. How has that worked out? Kamala had the intelligence of Greta Thunberg, the Keffiyeh-clad "Doom goblin’" of Sky News. Gazans must never be bike/ kite close to Israel ever again. TD

Red-District DOGE Protests, Cited As Proof of Broad Musk 'Backlash,' Were Organized By Soros Groups

Free Beacon

"The New York Times and CBS also mentioned the Fitzgerald town hall, though neither included Indivisible's involvement."

"When angry voters confronted Rep. Rich McCormick over DOGE at a town hall held in the Georgia Republican's deep-red district, the New York TimesWashington Post, and CBS News cited the scene as proof of emerging bipartisan "backlash" over Elon Musk's efforts to slash government spending. CBS included a quote from one of the protest's organizers, Maggie Goldman, describing her only as a McCormick constituent." . . .

. . ."The George Soros-funded groups Indivisible and MoveOn were at the center of the demonstrations. Both groups launched national "mobilization" efforts targeting the "Trump-Musk agenda" and "Trump-Musk coup" during the recess period. MoveOn said its "members and allies will show up at congressional-led town halls and congressional offices around the country, targeting House Republicans whose votes will be crucial in opposing Trump and Musk's harmful policies." Indivisible issued a "Musk or Us Recess Toolkit" that showed members how to find their local town halls and urged them to "take the fight to Elon.' " . . .

'We're all Bibas this year': Store offers Batman costume for 10 shekels in honor of slain hostages

 Jerusalem Post

"A Batman costume for kids and adults will be sold for only 10 shekels as a tribute to slain hostage, 4-year-old Ariel Bibas, who loved the superhero."

. . ." 'This is not about making money—this is a pure loss from my own pocket, but I want to do it," she explained. "I see in all the comments that there's a huge desire to dress up as Batman for Purim in honor of the Bibas family. So I got masks—one shekel each—just so TikTok on Purim will be filled with this mask."

"The whole country will be posting videos on Purim with Batman masks. We're all Bibas this year."

Why is the Batman costume so prominent in Israel today?

"The Batman costume has become closely associated with Ariel Bibas, who was tragically murdered by Hamas. The last Purim before he was kidnapped, Ariel dressed as Batman. At his kindergarten, he drew pictures of his favorite superhero and told his teacher he dreamed of "flying and saving people stuck in a pit." . . .

Sadly, here in America: Pro-Hamas vandals desecrate University of Michigan memorial to slain Bibas family

"A memorial honoring the Bibas family at the University of Michigan was desecrated with “Free Palestine” and an inverted red triangle.

"The memorial was painted on “The Rock” – a large boulder regularly repainted by UMich students – in orange with the names of Shiri, Kfir, and Ariel written on it in memory of the three Bibases who were murdered in Hamas captivity. Their bodies were returned to Israel in the recent hostage-prisoner exchange deal, and they were buried last week.

7 Lessons from Sunday’s Insanely Long Oscars Ceremony

Hollywood in Toto

A genuine Oscars highlight? Meg Ryan and Billy Crystal reunited to announce the Best Picture winner. The “When Harry Met Sally” stars lit up the night and rekindled warm memories of one of the best rom-coms in the modern era.

It didn’t work, but the gala stuck to the script more than many expected during a Trump presidency.

"Why?

"It’s one of seven lessons shared during the agonizingly long telecast – three hours and 46 minutes, to be exact.

America Doesn’t Care About Hollywood’s Politics

"We officially shared that hard truth on Nov. 5, 2024. Hollywood rallied en masse for Vice President Kamala Harris, and Donald Trump won every swing state.

"We. Don’t. Care.

"That’s likely why Oscar producers did all they could to remove politics from the telecast. Host Conan O’Brien’s opening monologue lacked a single Trump jab. He capped the gags by embracing film as a path to unify a nation." . . .

Speaking of Hollywood: Fonda disproves the adage age brings wisdom

"Over half a century later, Fonda proves herself to be no wiser. Recognizing that the term “woke” is divisive today, she is trying to redefine it to mean “empathy” explaining:" . . .

Douglas Murray: EUROPE Better Take This Seriously—Or They’ll Regret It

TheRoverReport "Douglas Murray talks about Munich Security Conference, where U.S. Vice President JD Vance delivered a blunt warning to European leaders: the greatest threat to Europe is not Russia, but the internal chaos caused by mass migration. He argued that open-border policies have led to severe social and security issues, yet European officials refuse to acknowledge the reality.

No One Is Ready for What Comes Next… ...   "Vance’s remarks sparked outrage among top European figures. Germany’s defense minister called his statements "unacceptable," while Chancellor Olaf Scholz went as far as accusing him of "improper behavior" and election interference. Rather than engaging with the facts, European leaders chose to attack the messenger."

"As a conservative Canadian very much under the speech tyranny of the Trudeau government, it's astounding to see the European reaction to Vance's speech. There should be nothing in it even remotely controversial. Dialogue is not something we merely suffer for the sake of a free and open society, it's the very cornerstone of it."

“Listen up. I am Jordanian, and I tell you that the two-state solution is dead, stone cold. And I’ll tell you why.

“ 'Listen up. I am Jordanian, and I tell you that the two-state solution is dead, stone cold. And I’ll tell you why.“Listen up. I am Jordanian, and I tell you that the two-state solution is dead, stone cold. And I’ll tell you why.

"Back in 1994, when Yitzhak Rabin was ready to hand the Palestinians a state on a silver platter, who was the loudest voice against it? Benjamin Netanyahu. And what did the world call him? A radical, an enemy of peace, a warmonger. Even inside Israel, many thought he was being extreme. But was he?

"Bibi’s argument was simple: You don’t hand a state to people who openly declare that your country has no right to exist and that their ultimate goal is to wipe you off the map. That’s not a “peace process”, that’s national suicide.

"He understood the security risks. A Palestinian state in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) would leave Israel a mere 9 miles wide at its narrowest point. That’s nothing. That’s an easy invasion route. That’s a security nightmare. It would take minutes to cut Israel in half and massacre its people.

"But did Israel listen? Of course not. In 2000, Ehud Barak came back and sweetened the deal. He offered Arafat a state again. Thank God Arafat said no. And why did he say no? Because he never wanted a state, he wanted Israel gone.

"Fast forward to 2005. Ariel Sharon tried another approach. He said, “Fine, let’s give them a test run.” So he pulled every single Jew out of Gaza, 70,000 settlers, forcibly removed. He even went so far as to dig up Jewish graves to ensure Gaza was 100% Judenrein. No excuses left. The Palestinians had a chance to prove they could run a state.

"So what did they do? Did they build hospitals, schools, and infrastructure? Did they work on nation-building? Did they take this golden opportunity and create a thriving mini-state to prove to the world that they were ready for independence?

Nope. Instead, they turned Gaza into a terrorist launchpad. Since 2005, Gaza has been a rocket factory, a jihadist training camp, and a tunnel network straight out of a horror movie. Billions in aid poured in, and instead of building a future, Hamas built weapons to destroy Israel.

"So let’s go back to the original question: Who was right, the dreamers who kept offering the Palestinians a state or Bibi Netanyahu, who warned them this would be a disaster?

"The answer is clear. Bibi was right. The Palestinians never cared about statehood. They only cared about destroying the Jewish state.

"And this is the part most people don’t want to say out loud: This conflict was never about “occupation.” That was always a lie. The West Bank and Gaza are just convenient excuses. The real issue is Islamic jihad.

"Bibi understands this better than anyone. The people Israel has been negotiating with for decades don’t want borders. They want annihilation. It’s not about compromise. It’s about erasing Israel from the map.

"So, no, the two-state solution isn’t “dying.” It’s already dead. And it’s been dead since the first time Israel tried to make peace with people who don’t believe in peace.' ”
