WASHINGTON POST: "Trump and Epstein had a relationship, but there’s no evidence of Trump wrongdoing"

 Infidel Bloggers

Rest assured — if Trump were prominently mentioned, it would have been leaked by now.

"The Trump White House and Justice Department are under fire for failing to release, as promised, all of the files related to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, who pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting an underage sex workerIn 2019, after he was charged in federal court with sex trafficking of minors, guards found Epstein dead in his cell at a federal jail in New York. Investigators said he hanged himself. Trump supporters have long suggested the existence of a client list that would implicate powerful people, while also calling into question whether Epstein’s death had been a suicide.

"Trump has tried to damp down speculation, fanned mainly by Democrats, that the withheld files contain evidence of a deep connection between Trump and Epstein. Trump has reacted with outrage and disdain, even at members of his political base who have pressed for the files to be released.

"A year ago, Florida Circuit Judge Luis Delgado unsealed nearly 200 pages of grand jury testimony related to the 2006 Florida case involving Epstein. The documents showed that prosecutors had heard testimony about Epstein assaulting teenage girls before they cut a plea deal with him in 2008 that was kept from victims and provided for lenient work release. “The details in the record will be outrageous to decent people,” Delgado wrote in his order. “The testimony taken by the Grand Jury concerns activity ranging from grossly unacceptable to rape — all of the conduct at issue is sexually deviant, disgusting, and criminal.”

"At the time, we dug deep into the public record and awarded Four Pinocchios to a Democratic lawmaker who suggested Trump’s name was all over the files released by Delgado. Nothing has emerged since then to change our assessment that there is no public evidence of inappropriate behavior by Trump related to Epstein. As a reader service, our findings are presented below.

Pictures of him with Epstein

"Trump has acknowledged that he and Epstein were in the same Palm Beach, Florida, social circle decades ago. But their relations appeared to have ended by the time Epstein’s legal troubles began." . . .

In a 2016 deposition of Giuffre that was released, she was asked about Trump. Giuffre said she had been recruited by Maxwell when she was a 17-year-old spa attendant at Mar-a-Lago.

" 'I don’t think Donald Trump participated in anything,” she said. “That would have to be another assumption. I never saw or witnessed Donald Trump participate in those acts, but was he in the house of Jeffrey Epstein.”

Foreign investor has spent $65M for destroyed Malibu properties

 NY Post

"It's CRIMINAL what the city, county and state make these VICTIMS go through to rebuild their homes.... and are basically forced to sell their homes to investors." JC in HB comment

"In the charred aftermath of Malibu’s January wildfires, one buyer has been moving in silence.

"While much of La Costa Beach remains a barren stretch of sand, a foreign investor has quietly acquired nine oceanfront lots — spending more than $65 million to secure some of the most coveted parcels along the Pacific Coast Highway, according to Realtor.com.

"Working through luxury agents Weston Littlefield and Alex Howe of the Weston James Group, the buyer is targeting properties with at least 40 feet of frontage, betting that once the coastline is rebuilt, demand from wealthy buyers will return in force.

The scale of destruction was severe: The fire razed 720 structures in Malibu, burning miles of beachfront homes to their foundations.

“Malibu was such a charming beach town, and all the homes that were on La Costa Beach had so much character… and for it all to just be gone and wiped out, down to the sand, is heartbreaking,” Littlefield said.

"Rebuilding is a long and costly process. The city estimates permit approvals can take 12 to 24 months, and coastal construction carries steeper requirements than inland projects. " . . .

Foreign investor has spent $65M for destroyed Malibu properties

. . . "For Littlefield, the investment is a calculated bet with a long horizon.

“ 'Once this beach is built back and it’s all brand-new construction, I think it’s going to be a very desirable spot for a lot of wealthy people to try to buy a beach house,” he said."

Victim of Infamous Cincinnati Attack Speaks Out, Counters DEI-Supporting Police Chief's Claims

  RedState

"Frankly, if the police chief is going to opine on this case in such a bombastic way, she should at least have the decency to contact the victims and get their side of the story. Instead, it seems like she prejudged this from the beginning in order to fit the attack into her worldview."

NY Post

"Cincinnati beatdown victim: “We were just leaving, waiting for our Uber — no fights inside, no problems. Outside, we were surrounded. My friends were attacked, one beaten within an inch of their life. I stepped in to help. Then came the racist comments — ‘you white [expletive] words,’ ‘white people shouldn’t be out here,’ ‘you’re gonna go night night.’ Some attackers had rap sheets a mile long. The man who punched me had just gotten out of jail months earlier. They should have never been free to do this.”

"The woman who was brutally beaten in downtown Cincinnati by a mob of men is speaking out for the first time, describing the attack and lambasting the city's leadership for how they've handled the case.

"Holly, who is currently choosing to only go by her first name, showed physical signs of the ordeal while speaking to Fox News' Laura Ingraham, with visible bruises under her eye and on her cheek. She went on to talk about what led up to the assault that left her on her back, bleeding in the street.

"According to Holly, the group of attackers, who were black, hurled racist insults at her and those she was with."  . . .

"After the attack, Cincinnati Police Chief Teresa Theetge appeared to take the side of the attackers, claiming that the videos that had gone viral lacked context and were a "distorted" version of the events. She has still not provided any evidence for her claim, and, notably, Theetge is an outspoken proponent of DEI. That provides a window into her views regarding policing and racial politics.

"She also didn't bother to reveal in her press conference that the alleged attackers had previous criminal records, including acts of violence. That would have gone against her implication that this attack was somehow instigated by Holly and was not an indictment of her failed leadership." . . .   Full article...

Muslim Sent Shockwaves Through the Arab World After Going Public With This Video

 Israel Unwired

What about the so-called “Palestinian” people? Well, they are made up. They have no history in the land of Israel. They have no archaeology to prove that what they claim is true. It’s time for the world to listen to the truth. The ignorant people must stop believing everything they hear about “Palestine.”

“You don’t need a group that wraps itself in verses while stabbing your future.” What a line that truly defines the nature of what the Muslim Brotherhood is all about. This eloquent spokesman does not defend the norms of many Islamic countries. He is proud to say that the UAE is the exception to the rule, the country with a bright present and future due to their rejection of the Muslim Brotherhood.
"But it is more than just the UAE (or Bahrain). There are many millions of people in the Middle East who are not interested in a radical Islamic lifestyle. They are not necessarily very Western either. But they do not want to kill or be killed. They do not aspire to turn the world into a world dominated by Islam.
"There are millions of Iranians who are dreaming for the rule of the Ayatollahs to end. There are millions of Saudis and Moroccans who are not interested in conflict with neighboring countries. But they are culturally very much decades behind most of the Western world. But as can be observed in many regions in China, this can be changed more quickly than many would think.
"Donald Trump seems to be hedging much of his hopes for a more peaceful future in the Middle East on encouraging a drive towards prosperity as the leading incentive to curb the radical religious elements from dominaing their cultures. Historically, this has not fared very well. But, there are not that many instances over the last few decades of understanding the power of smartphones and other AI-filled gadgets on changing cultural norms. The new world is uniques in this regard. Voices like this brave Arab’s voice ought to be magnified, and then the UAE will not be the exception, but the leader of a growing trend." . . .

Texas Democrats Turn on Democracy; Running from their state — and their job.

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

“I, ……, do solemnly swear (or affirm), that I will faithfully execute the duties of the office of of the State of Texas, and will to the best of my ability preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution and laws of the United States and of this State;”

"For Texas Democrats, it’s all about the power, stupid. And if they can’t win elections to get that power?
"Then they’re taking their ball and going not home — but to Illinois. You remember Illinois? The state that has a legendary history for stealing elections? Apparently the Texas Democrat legislators are now swarming the state for a tutorial in election stealing and power-grabbing.
"Newsweek reports the story this way:
"Republican Texas Governor Greg Abbott has threatened to remove what he calls “derelict Democrats” from the state’s House of Representatives if they fail to return by Monday afternoon.
The threat came after numerous Texas Democrats have left their home state and traveled to Illinois in an effort to prevent the state legislature from holding a vote that would approve Republican-backed redistricting maps.
In a letter to the Democrats, Abbott wrote: “Real Texans do not run from a fight. But that’s exactly what most of the Texas House Democrats just did…rather than doing their job and voting on urgent legislation affecting the lives of all Texans, they have fled Texas to deprive the House of the quorum necessary to meet and conduct business.
Well beyond the immediacy of these shenanigans is the message Texas Democrats have now sent to the rest of the country:
"Democrats are not about principle, they’re about power, stupid."
Message received.
"The first to get that message was, as noted, Texas Republican Gov. Greg Abbott. His answer was plain: Get back here and do your job or you will no longer have that job.
"Well bravo to Gov. Abbott.
"Can the governor actually strip these renegades of their jobs? Jobs which they presumably fiercely campaigned for? Jobs for which they assured their prospective constituents they would do?
"For those not familiar, here is the what the Texas state Constitution says about their legislative jobs: " . . .

Texas Redistricting Breaks The Democratic Party

  Issues & Insights

"Newsom’s clumsy attempt to score a point prompted CNN commentator Scott Jennings to say, “Trump is truly blessed by the dumbest opposition.' ”*

"Consider what has transpired in the past few weeks and ask yourself which political party is acting like petulant children.

"Earlier this year, the Justice Department found that four Texas districts drawn in 2021 are “unconstitutionally racially biased” because they violate the equal protection clause and “must be rectified immediately.”

"Hans von Spakovsky, an election law expert at the Heritage Foundation, notes that not only did those Texas districts violate the Constitution, but the boundaries they drew in 2021 were based on faulty 2020 Census data, which had missed half a million Texans, and didn’t reflect the influx of 2 million people over the past five years.

"So, the state redrew districts to pass constitutional muster and reflect the reality of Texas’ population, which, because it ends up creating more Republican-favored districts, sparked an unhinged national outrage.

"Democratic state legislators fled Texas so they could block a vote on the new district boundaries – a flagrant attempt to thwart the democratic process that also violates Texas law.

"Democratic leaders around the country lost their collective minds, beclowning themselves and the party they lead in the process.

"House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries promised that “Democrats are going to respond from coast to coast and at all points in between to this effort to steal the midterm elections.” (In 2021, Jeffries called Trump a “pathological liar” a “sociopath” and a “malignant narcissist” for claiming that Democrats stole the 2020 election,)

"Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker proudly claimed to be providing sanctuary to the runaway Texans, “’cause we know they’re doing the right thing, we know that they’re following the law.”

"Pritzker claims to be fighting a valiant battle against “gerrymandering” – in which district lines are drawn purposely to favor one party or another. It’s is an unfortunate reality in politics, one hated by whichever party is on the losing end.

"But Illinois is one of the most gerrymandered states in the land, with districts that bob and weave all over the place to guarantee the maximum number of seats that can be controlled by Democrats. In fact, Illinois gets “Fs” across the board from the Princeton University Gerrymandering Project. It’s so bad that even Democratic water-carrying “comedian” Stephen Colbert confronted Pritzer about it on his soon-to-be-canceled late-night show." . . .  More here...

Boasberg slapped again... this one will leave a mark...

  Revolver News

"Josh Gerstein: In 2-1 ruling, DC Circuit overturns Judge Boasberg's order initiating contempt proceedings against Trump admin over Alien Enemies Act Deportations."

"Another day, another humiliating smackdown for Obama-appointed, Trump Derangement Syndrome–infected Judge James Boasberg. This time, it’s a 2–1 ruling from the DC Circuit Court of Appeals overturning his latest stunt—an order that would have initiated “contempt” proceedings against the Trump administration over the Alien Enemies Act deportations. The ruling was a majority opinion from two Trump-appointed judges, with the lone dissent coming from… yep, you guessed it… an Obama appointee.

"The latest win means mass deportations under the Alien Enemies Act will continue, despite Dems’ desperate obsession with keeping dangerous criminals in the country illegally. Boasberg’s efforts to derail this America First enforcement weren’t just a legal flop; they were a political stunt that blew up in his face.

"He and the Dems look foolish."

Indiana U Study Finds Anti-Israel Activism is ‘Highly Coordinated’

 College Insurrection

"Other “top collaborators” include Students for Justice in Palestine at the University of Chicago, the U.S. Palestinian Community Network, and DISSENTERS."

"We probably didn’t need a study to know this, but confirmation is a good thing.

"The College Fix reports:

Anti-Israel activism is ‘highly coordinated,’ Indiana University study concludes

Anti-Israel activism is “highly coordinated” through one main group, an Indiana University study concluded. One of the co-authors told The College Fix that campuses which combat hostility can see less of it, but there can also be backlash.

The “central node” is the national Students for Justice in Palestine, “which functions as a strategic and narrative hub,” Professor Günther Jikeli wrote in the 61-page report. Jikeli leads the university’s Institute for the Study of Contemporary Antisemitism and is a recipient of the Raoul Wallenberg Prize in Human Rights and Holocaust Studies by the International Raoul Wallenberg Foundation and Tel Aviv University.

The researchers also wrote in their report that criticism of Israel is not always the same as antisemitism. “While political debate and student activism are vital to academic freedom, the rhetoric and actions of some groups now frequently cross the line into antisemitism, creating a hostile climate for many Jewish students and faculty,” the report stated. Many of the posts reflect Hamas messaging, the study alleges.

“Our analysis focuses on documented antisemitic incidents and on online activity where anti-Israel activism intersects with the glorification of violence and the amplification of extremist narratives,” the authors wrote in an introductory note.

However, many anti-Israel groups promote violence, the report alleges." . . .

Comment to the above post: "And our spoiled college students are not at all repulsed that Hamas got carried away with the killing and the blood and the ferocity. Apparently, the little snowflakes that require safe spaces from disturbing ideas are just fine with rape and baby killing if the cause is just. And they are convinced that the Palestinian cause is just.

"There is somebody beyond these two groups plotting behind the scenes. Somebody is paying the bills and greasing the way forward."

Biden abused his authority by turning FEMA into a far-left political machine

 Miranda Devine

"It began the minute Joe Biden came into office, when he concocted a fake voter registration crisis by leveraging the same racial discord that he had exploited during the George Floyd riots . . ."

"The Biden administration abused its power by turning the entire mechanism of the federal government into a Democratic voter mobilization campaign, according to newly unearthed White House documents viewed exclusively by The Post.

"The worst offender was FEMA, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, under the Department of Homeland Security, which was controlled for four years by Biden’s Machiavellian border buster Alejandro Mayorkas.

"When responding to an emergency or a natural disaster, FEMA employees were directed to make voter registration a “key priority.” . . .

FEMA snubbed GOP

"FEMA employees were so fixated on voter outreach that, when they visited hurricane-ravaged Florida last October, they didn’t even bother knocking on the doors of houses that had Trump signs in the yard

"Instead of assisting Hurricane Milton survivors, they were instructed to “avoid homes advertising Trump,” according to an Office of Special Counsel complaint.

"FEMA supervisor Marn’i Washington was fired as a scapegoat after Republican Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis called foul on the scam and the Daily Wire reported that at least 20 homes with Trump signs or flags had been skipped by FEMA and denied the opportunity of qualifying for federal assistance.

"It stands to reason that if FEMA’s priority was getting out Democrats to vote, the last people they would want to visit were Trump supporters.

"The Florida scandal came on the heels of the Biden administration’s sluggish response to Hurricane Helene in Trump-supporting rural areas of North Carolina and Tennessee.

"Whether it was Hurricane Helene, the Maui wildfires, Hurricane Ian, or the East Palestine train derailment in Ohio, FEMA always came up short during the Biden years.

"The agency’s inadequate performance is more understandable when you realize that providing actual disaster relief to victims had become simply a side dish to the partisan political priorities of the Democratic Party." . . .

FEMA workers told to ‘avoid homes’ with Trump signs in hurricane-ravaged Florida community  Liberal sites deny this, but it is documented as truthful:

FEMA Chief Admits: 'We Skipped Trump Supporters' Homes During Hurricane Relief Efforts - EconoTimes

"The controversy emerged when a whistleblower reported that certain FEMA officials considered Trump supporters as "domestic terrorists," leading to deliberate avoidance of their homes during relief efforts."

Insufferable Diva, the Boss from Hell: Jasmine Crockett

 Conservative Firing Line

Isn't that the same way that Kamala Harris's staff described her? The Dems aren't sending their best, are they. Both Crockett and Harris are cut from the same cloth, highly irritating wool.

We could have guessed how Jasmine Crockett is to her staff, since Kamala Harris was an absolute jerk to hers too (and Amy Klobuchar, etc. etc.).  It seems to be a trend. Jasmine’s staff are saying that she’s the “boss from hell” who “terrorizes them.” Remember that Kamala had a constant avalanche of staffers abandoning her ship for years. Crockett appears to be the same kind of twisted diva." . . .
“Who could have possibly guessed that Crockett is not only insufferable, but she’s also incredibly lazy. There were just no[t] signs. But really, this is exactly what you’d expect from someone who is such a loudmouth in public. The vulgarity and constant dramatics aren’t the kind of thing thworse when the cameras are off.

For example, Crockett makes her staffers rent an “Escalade” to transport her to and from hearings and votes at the Capitol Building. Whichever unlucky staffer picks her up is then forced to act like a chauffeur, standing by the vehicle and then driving her around like she’s royalty.” Red State

. . . "For those of you unfamiliar with an Escalade – it’s an expensive Cadillac SUV. Expensive is the operative word. They can run as high as $148,000 USED.   They can rent anywhere from $150-$400.  Of course, Ms. Diva the Boss from Hell can afford it."
So there you have it.  She’s not just vile, or a ranting diva, she’s also the “boss from hell.” She made fun of a Governor in a wheelchair, called Trump every name in the book like “Temu Hitler” and other things. She treats her staff as badly as she treats the American people – and she thinks she’s smarter than everyone else. She’s not, by the way.

Adam Schiff may be in serious trouble in a case that should be easy to prove -

 Andrea Widburg; American Thinker

"Nevertheless, I would suggest that anyone whom Schiff defamed on the floor of the House immediately look into filing a defamation suit against him."

. . . "Back in May, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (“FHFA”) sent a referral letter to AG Pam Bondi, accusing Schiff of wrongdoing:

Mr. Schiff appears to have falsified records in order to receive favorable loan terms, and also appears to have been aware of the financial benefits of a primary residence mortgage when compared to a secondary residence mortgage as a spokesperson in 2023 told the media outlet CNN that, “Adam’s California and Maryland addresses have been listed as primary residences for loan purposes because they are both occupied throughout the year and to distinguish them from a vacation property.”

. . ."For the record, for mortgage purposes, the law doesn’t care how you use your property. However, you will get better mortgage rates only for the one property you designate as your primary residence.

"According to the FHFA referral, what Schiff did, while it might have made good sense to him financially, could have constituted a criminal act:" . . .

. . . "Nevertheless, I would suggest that anyone whom Schiff defamed on the floor of the House immediately look into filing a defamation suit against him. That’s because Schiff’s statements will retroactively have lost the protections granted congressmen under the Speech and Debate clause (Art I, Sec. 6, Cl. 1). It sure would be fun to see Schiff face one or more multimillion dollar defamation suits—and if I were the plaintiff’s lawyer, I would argue that any statute of limitations only started running at the moment it was discovered that Schiff’s tenure in the House was a fraud."

VDH: Why DEI was already dying

 Victor Davis Hanson

"Fourth, does the word "minority" still carry any currency? In today's California, the demography breaks down as 40% Latino, 34% White, 16% Asian American or Pacific Islander, 6% Black, and 3% Other — with no significant majority and whites fewer than the Latino "minority.' "

"President Donald Trump's executive orders banning Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI)-related racial and gender preferencing have ostensibly doomed the DEI industry.
"But DEI was already on its last legs. Half of all Americans no longer approve of racial, ethnic, or gender preferences.
"DEI had enjoyed a surge following the death of George Floyd and the subsequent 120 days of nonstop rioting, arson, assaults, killings, and attacks on law enforcement during the summer of 2020.
"In those chaotic years, DEI was seen as the answer to racial tensions.
"DEI had insidiously replaced the old notion of affirmative action — a 1960s-era government remedy for historical prejudices against black Americans, from the legacy of slavery to Jim Crow segregation.
"But during the Obama era, "diversity" superseded affirmative action by offering preferences to many groups well beyond black Americans.
"Quite abruptly, Americans began talking in Marxist binaries.
"On one side were the supposed 65–70 percent white majority "oppressors" and "victimizers" — often stereotyped as exuding "white privilege," "white supremacy," or even "white rage."
"They were juxtaposed to the 25–30% of "diverse" Americans, the so-called "oppressed" and "victimized."
"Yet almost immediately, contradictions and hypocrisies undermined DEI.
"First, how does one define "diverse" in an increasingly multiracial, intermarried, assimilated, and integrated society?
"DNA badges?
"The old one-drop rule of the antebellum South?
"Superficial appearance?" . . .
