Charlie Kirk, Iryna Zarutska, and the Death of Society

American Greatness

No strength, skill, or faith could have saved Charlie Kirk or Iryna Zarutska—when morality and law collapse, society itself teeters on the edge of chaos.

. . . "Thus has it always been for man, dating back at least to the time of the man, the woman, the snake, and the apple. Indeed, that man and that woman had two sons, one of whom brutally murdered the other out of petty jealousy. This is man’s nature as a fallen creature. It is who he is—who we are." . . .

. . . "Critics note that Iryna Zarutska’s killer had been arrested and released 14 times. This is because of the efforts made by advocates of social justice and affiliated theories over the last half-century-plus. And her murder is the result.

"Long story short: over the course of the last three centuries, Western man has been slowly but surely undoing the very features that enabled societies to exist and civilizations to grow and thrive. Neither Charlie Kirk’s assassin nor his online fans and political supporters are subject to the behavior-leavening power of morality and conscience. Neither Iryna Zariutska’s murder nor his defenders are subject to the limits of the law.

"No matter how strong and prepared a man is, he cannot survive in close quarters with hundreds, thousands, or millions of others without rules. And the rules have been purposefully and continually undermined. Society is dying. Unless it is consciously rebuilt, chaos will reign. And Charlie and Iryna will hardly be the last."

Silencing Dissent: The Chilling Implications of Charlie Kirk’s Assassination

. . . "If you call someone day after day after day, “white, white, white, white”; “racist, racist, racist”; “fascist, fascist, fascist”; “Nazi, Nazi, Nazi”—we hear that from Joy Reid. We see it on “The View.” We see it on MSNBC. Even just seconds after Charlie died, we had Matthew Dowd go on and basically said that he got what he deserved because he was an extremist, etc., and he and you “live by the sword, die by the sword” sort of argument he used." . . .

Who would be willing to place America in the hands of Democrat corruption?

The Corruption of the Democratic Party

The article below explains reasoning behind using "Democrat" instead of "Democratic". An overlooked choice after the Civil War in 1866. TD

. . . "It was Joe Biden, not Donald Trump, who was “corrupting the government…. using it to hound his enemies, to line his pockets and to entrench his own power.”

"It was Joe Biden, not Donald Trump, who was “corrupting it the way the Mafia would corrupt the industries it controlled. You could still, under Mafia rule, get the trash picked up or buy construction materials. But the point of those industries had become the preservation and expansion of the Mafia’s power and wealth…”

"In short, Klein has it exactly backwards.

"Why? Who knows.

"But one can sense the aroma of Trump Derangement Syndrome rising here.

"Note. Donald Trump became a billionaire working entirely in the private sector, never having served a day in public office. Mysteriously — or not so mysteriously — Joe Biden and family became millionaires by using his public office to make those millions.

"Which is to say, the record speaks for itself.

"And it ain’t good for Democrats and their defenders." . . .

Are Democrats channeling Charlie Manson?

. . . "The question is whether the Democrat (they’re not democratic) party’s rhetoric and policies, by emphasizing divisive issues, contribute to societal tensions in a way that echoes Manson’s aim to provoke conflict, while carefully acknowledging key distinctions." . . .

. . . "To move forward, we must ask what kind of society we want.  Policies that bridge divides, prioritize public safety, and promote honest dialogue reduce tensions and prevent the kind of chaos Manson sought.  Although the Democrat party’s actions differ significantly from Manson’s criminal orchestrations, the unintended consequences of their rhetoric and policies warrant scrutiny to ensure that they do not contribute to a cycle of division, unrest, and violence."

Israel's Netanyahu: 'No Palestinian State, This Place Is Ours'

NewsMax

"The historic right of Jews to live anywhere in the Land of Israel — the birthplace of the Jewish people — is indisputable." . . .

"We said there will be no Palestinian state — indeed there will be no Palestinian state. This place is ours," declared Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to rousing applause at the festive signing of an "umbrella agreement" between the government and Ma'ale Adumim at the Judean city's Cultural Center on Thursday evening.

The umbrella agreement commits the government to finance the construction of two new neighborhoods and the expansion of a third in a city that hasn't seen a new neighborhood built in 20 years.

In repudiating a Palestinian state, Netanyahu referred to the most strategically important part of the agreement—the building of a new neighborhood in E1 ("East 1")—an area, once built, both Israel and the Palestinians agree threatens Arab geographic contiguity, making it far more difficult to establish a viable Palestinian state.

Various obstacles, chief among them international pressure, have left E1, a 12-square-kilometer (4.6 sq. mile) area in Judea, virtually untouched for decades, despite support for construction by every Israeli government starting from Yitzhak Rabin's in 1994, which first proposed the idea.

It is little wonder then that Ma'ale Adumim, which this year celebrates the 50th anniversary of its founding, turned the signing of the umbrella agreement into a celebratory event with music and dancing.

Victor Davis Hanson: ‘Anti-Fascist’ Violence Claimed Charlie Kirk.

The Daily Signal

"The Left are almost always the opposite of what they claim…..Antifa are the fascists. They always use violence and intimidation to silence political opponents (which ironically is the exact same thing Hitlers Brownshirts did) and now, use murder to silence opponents. They call themselves tolerant but are the most intolerant of opposing views, they say they are loving but absolutely hate anyone they disagree with or who threatens their power."

"Charlie Kirk shaped modern conservatism and reached youth in ways no one else could—and that’s precisely what made him so dangerous to the Left.
"The trailblazing 31-year-old activist and commentator who founded Turning Point USA was regularly smeared as a “fascist,” a “Nazi,” and a “threat to democracy” by the Left. It was only a matter of time until a crazed person put those words into action. On today’s episode of “ 'Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” Hanson pays tribute to Kirk and explains how his death is more than just a personal loss; it signals a dangerous new era where political violence is becoming normalized.
“  'He connected with people. He had a podcast. He was an extemporaneous speaker. He could ad lib. He wrote columns. He was fearless. He was—he registered voters. He might have been more responsible for winning key states than any other political activists in the 2024 election. I don't think anybody in our generation—I'm speaking my generation—could have done what he did.
" ' We are legitimizing political violence. If you call someone day after day after day, "white, white, white, white"; "racist, racist, racist"; "fascist, fascist, fascist"; "Nazi, Nazi, Nazi"—we hear that from Joy Reid. We see it on "The View." We see it on MSNBC. Even just seconds after Charlie died, we had Matthew Dowd go on and basically said that he got what he deserved because he was an extremist, etc., and he and you "live by the sword, die by the sword" sort of argument he used.”

Heartless Democrat Ilhan Omar Says Those Remembering Charlie Kirk for the Good Are “Full of ----”

Nicole Silverio, Daily Caller News Foundation

"Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar said with a straight face on Thursday that it is “f-ed up” for people to remember the late Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk for his good deeds.

"Just one day following his death, Omar accused Kirk on “Zeteo” of being insensitive to school shootings, the death of George Floyd and slavery. She denied the notion that Kirk helped bring civil political discussion on college campuses by openly debating those he disagreed with.

“ 'Charlie was someone who once said guns save lives after a school shooting,” Omar told host Mehdi Hasan. “Charlie was someone who was willing to debate and downplay the death of George Floyd in the hands of Minneapolis Police. Downplayed slavery and what black people have gone through in this country by saying Juneteenth should never exist. And I think there are a lot of people out there talking about him just wanting to have a civil debate. There is nothing more f-ed up than to completely pretend that his words and actions have not been recorded and in existence for the last decade or so.”

“ 'These people are full of shit and it’s important for us to call them out,” Omar continued.

"The far-left congresswoman, who once declared her allegiance to Somalia over the U.S., baselessly alleged that Kirk said empathy should not exist." . . .

UPDATED, Sat 9/13; Kirk Shooter Tyler Robinson Arrested; Family Told Investigators He Had Become ‘More Political’ in Recent Years

UPDATE 9/13/2025:  Charlie Kirk Assassin Tyler Robinson Lived with his Transgender Partner – Partner is Cooperating with FBI
. . . "Per Fox News reporter Brooke Singman: Charlie Kirk assassin Tyler Robinson lived with his transgender partner, sources tell me.
The individual, who is a male transitioning to a female, is fully cooperating with the FBI.

Sources tell me the FBI had texts and other communications between Robinson and the individual that helped FBI authorities solidify that Robinson was indeed the shooter.

Tyler Robinson had become ‘more political’ in years before allegedly shooting Charlie Kirk dead, investigators say | The Independent

. . . "In 2021, Robinson reportedly received a “presidential scholarship” to Utah State University school and celebrated his future years before his arrest."

"A video posted to Facebook in March 2021 shows him reading a letter informing him of the $32,000 scholarship. According to the Mail, Robinson was enrolled as a student at Utah State University for one semester in 2021.

"Robinson is facing charges of aggravated murder, felony discharge of a firearm causing serious bodily injury and obstruction of justice, according to the probable cause affidavit.

"Authorities stated at a press conference Thursday night that the suspect would face the death penalty if convicted.

"During a press conference Friday morning, Utah governor Spencer Cox said a family member told investigators that Tyler had become “more political” in recent years.

" 'The family member referenced an incident in which Robinson came to dinner prior to September 10, and in the conversation with another family member Robinson mentioned that Charlie Kirk was coming to UVU. They talked about why they didn’t like him and the viewpoints that he had. The family member also said that Kirk was ‘full of hate and spreading hate.'”

"It wasn’t immediately clear which family member said Kirk was “full of hate,” the one being interviewed, or the one who was speaking with Tyler.

"Cox said investigators interviewed Robinson’s roommate, who showed them messages the suspect had posted on Discord about his rifle, including a comment saying that he “needed to retrieve a rifle from a drop point.” . . . More...

"He used words and healthy debate. Unfortunately, in today's society, there is little room for tolerance and understanding of people who don't have the same point of view. I don't think he was aggressive, just robust. How many debating societies exist in our schools today. Perhaps something that should be revived in this very polarised society we live in."

Forbes: Tyler Robinson: What We Know About Suspected Killer Of Charlie Kirk  . . . "The assassin was turned in by his father.

“The killer then confessed to his father, who is a a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department,” the Daily Mail reported. “His father then contacted authorities and secured his son before he could be taken into custody.”

The Imbalance in Interracial Crime and Media Coverage: From George Floyd to Iryna Zarutska

 By Chris Knight

"I, too, have wondered about Brown’s mental health. He killed a total stranger. But Brown also had the presence of mind to remove bloodied clothing and try to leave the scene without being arrested. That tells me he wanted to get away with it." Debra Saunders

American Thinker;The Neutered Satirist

"In recent weeks, the tragic stabbing death of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska on a Charlotte, North Carolina, light rail train, has ignited discussions about interracial crime, media double standards, and societal responses to violence. Zarutska, who had fled war-torn Ukraine, was allegedly killed in an unprovoked attack by Decarlos Dejuan Brown Jr., a 34-year-old man with a history of violent offenses. This incident, captured on disturbing surveillance footage, has drawn comparisons to high-profile cases like the 2020 death of George Floyd, which sparked nationwide riots and billions in damage. Yet, while Floyd's killing dominated headlines and led to widespread unrest, Zarutska's murder has received comparatively muted coverage. I explore the statistical imbalances in Black-on-White crime, the societal fallout from the Floyd riots, and why cases like Zarutska's often fade into the background.

" 'On August 22, 2025, Zarutska was riding the Charlotte Area Transit System's Blue Line, when Brown allegedly approached her from behind and stabbed her fatally. Surveillance video shows Brown, hooded and seemingly deliberate, carrying out the attack before fleeing. Brown, who has 14 prior convictions including assault and battery, was arrested shortly after. On September 9, 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice filed federal charges against him for committing an act causing death on mass transportation, potentially making him eligible for the death penalty. Charlotte officials have increased security on trains in response, but the case has prompted broader debates about recidivism, public safety, and racial dynamics in crime reporting.

"Critics argue that the media's handling of Zarutska's death exemplifies a double standard: While her story has been covered locally and in some national outlets, it hasn't sparked the same level of outrage or protests as cases involving Black victims killed by White perpetrators. Social media users and commentators have highlighted this disparity, comparing it to the wall-to-wall coverage of George Floyd's death, which served a Leftist purpose of white racial guilt. North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper broke his silence on the matter, expressing heartbreak and calling for justice, but the story has not led to nationwide demonstrations or policy overhauls.

"To understand the broader context, it's essential to examine FBI crime data on interracial homicides. African Americans comprise about 13% of the U.S. population, but account for roughly 50-56% of known homicide offenders in recent years, according to FBI Uniform Crime Reports. In 2019, the most recent year with detailed expanded homicide data, Black offenders were responsible for 2,574 murders of White victims, while White offenders committed 566 murders of Black victims, a ratio of approximately 4.5:1. Adjusting for population size (Whites are about five times more numerous than Blacks), the per capita Black-on-White homicide rate is significantly higher than the reverse.

"These disparities persist over time. Bureau of Justice Statistics reports on homicide trends from 1980-2008 show similar patterns: Black-on-White homicides outnumbered White-on-Black by about 2:1 in raw numbers, with even greater imbalances per capita. More recent analyses, including extrapolations from available data, estimate that from 1960 to 2024, Black-on-White homicides could total 260,000-340,000, though these figures are rough and debated due to incomplete historical records. Factors like socioeconomic inequality, urban density, and systemic issues contribute to these rates, but the raw data underscores a clear imbalance often overlooked in public discourse." . .  .

Horror in Charlotte, and in Utah

And they can’t even demand gun control as a remedy.

Predictably, the media and those on the left are more concerned about attacking the right than they are about a murder victim.

WASHINGTON — The Sept. 8 headline in The New York Times said it all: “A Gruesome Murder in North Carolina Ignites a Firestorm on the Right.”

The Gray Lady leaped over the warm body of victim Iryna Zarutska, a 23-year-old immigrant from Ukraine, and led with its usual blame-the-right politics.

"The story’s subhead: “Security footage capturing the unprovoked stabbing in Charlotte became an accelerant for conservative arguments about the perceived failings of Democratic policies.”

"The Wall Street Journal was like-minded: “Woman’s Stabbing Death Becomes MAGA Talking Point.”

"Sadly, the headline writers missed the story: Zarutska was riding Charlotte’s light rail system after her shift at a pizzeria on Aug. 22, shortly before 10 p.m., when an apparent stranger stabbed her in the neck and killed her." . . .

Who’s Next? Bluesky Posters Call for Deaths of Prominent Republicans, Conservative Media Figures

 American Greatness

Don Jr. Recalls Kirk’s Words: ‘When Discourse Ends, Violence Begins’…

"Following the assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk at a campus event in Orem, Utah on Wednesday, a number of users on the Bluesky app are calling for the deaths of other prominent figures on the right.
"The New York Post reports that a slew of Bluesky users have posted calls for the deaths of Tesla founder Elon Musk, President Donald Trump, author J.K. Rowling and conservative commentators Ben Shapiro, Matt Walsh and Michael Knowles.
"Screenshots capture the deranged threats ranging from violent language to outright suggestions as to who should be taken out next." . . .
"Other notable influencers on the right are also being targeted, including Libs of TikTok founder Chaya Raichik, Andy Ngo, Christopher Rufo and Benny Johnson.
"The platform had faced criticism earlier this summer after far-left extremists posted threats
against federal officers and agents and sought personal information regarding their families and home addresses.
There are groups of people making more death threats now. I actually got one today but, @bluesky has thousands of people making lists of targets. pic.twitter.com/r9R5UFkfGX   . . .

Here Are Some Heinous Members of the Professional Class Who Cheered Charlie Kirk's Death

"A transgender comic book writer had their newly released project completely canceled by DC Comics after posts on BlueSky surfaced of them mocking the death of conservative icon Charlie Kirk.
"Gretchen Felker-Martin, who is transgender and uses "she/her" pronouns, had a major Batman spinoff called "Red Hood" canned despite having a significant launch just this Wednesday. Additionally, it was expected to see future releases all the way into late 2026.

"Now, Felker-Martin's pronouns can be changed to FA/FO."

Andy Ngo gave us this reaction from a - shall we say? - a liberal:
"Christopher Rispoli, the woke owner of Gentle Care Animal Hospital in Edmond, Okla., suggested on social media that people should be inspired to kill more people after Charlie Kirk. "He is only the first!' "

Suspect caught: "Call him by the correct term, he is a Murderer, not a shooter."

Can we assume this murderer enjoys "The View", MSNBC, CNN? I'm sure Biden's speeches before Congress, Freedom Hall, and the Democrat Convention were a plea for assassinations of Trump and his people. TD

Biden attacks Trump and MAGA Republicans as threat to American democracy - ABC News
"Too much of what's happening in our country today is not normal," he said. "Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic."

Jonathan Turley: September 11, 2025 “Prove me Wrong”: Charlie Kirk’s Final Challenge on Free Speech . . . "The left had particular reason to hate Kirk.  Campuses have long been the bastions of the left, reinforced by faculties which now have few, if any, conservatives or Republicans. Higher education has long been an incubator for intolerance; shaping a generation of speech phobics who shout down or attack those with opposing views.
"Kirk struck at the heart of that power base. Polls show that most students do not feel comfortable speaking about their values in our universities and many conservatives hide their views to avoid retaliation from faculty and students." . . .
. . . "What we witnessed in real time was Orwell’s famed two minutes of hate, voluntarily exercised against a murder victim and lasting a lot longer than two minutes.  "At the top, there was the group response from elected Democrats" . . .

Sickos Cheer Charlie Kirk’s Death Following Horrific Assassination

Joseph Morris   "Charlie Kirk was assassinated at Utah Valley University, and the FBI has released an image of a person of interest wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a long-sleeve black shirt, alongside a recovered Mauser .30-06 rifle with cartridges engraved with transgender and anti-fascist ideology. A chilling X post by Omar and a private jet’s mysterious disappearance fuel speculation in this ongoing true crime investigation." . . .

. . . On September 11, 2025, the FBI released an image of a person of interest in the assassination of 31-year-old Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley University, a major break in this true crime case. The photos show a person wearing a hat, sunglasses, and a long-sleeve black shirt. The FBI’s Salt Lake City office stated, “We are asking for the public’s help identifying this person of interest in connection with the fatal shooting of Charlie Kirk at Utah Valley,” urging anyone with information to call 1-800-CALL-FBI. On September 10, 2025, Charlie was shot in the neck during a Q&A at his American Comeback Tour, just seconds after mentioning transgender mass shootings, dying in front of his wife Erika and their young children. The ATF and FBI recovered a Mauser .30-06 rifle, wrapped in a towel with a spent cartridge in the chamber and three unspent rounds engraved with transgender and anti-fascist ideology, found in a wooded area. The shooter, described as a college-aged male in black with aviator sunglasses, fired from the Losee Center roof, 200 yards away, and fled into a neighborhood. A chilling X post from September 9 by a user named Omar, writing, “Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow I really hope someone evaporates him literally,” has social media sleuths hunting for answers. The FBI, led by Special Agent Robert Bohls, has over 130 tips and is analyzing palm and footwear prints, but no primary suspect has been named. Theories swirl about a private jet from Lehi, Utah, vanishing from radar post-shooting, and a recent FBI leadership shake-up involving agent Mehtab Syed’s resignation. Was this a professional hit? Join me, Joseph Morris, as I break down the latest in this true crime documentary. Drop your thoughts in the comments—what does this new suspect image reveal?"

Dems Outraged RFK Isn’t Fauci

 Ann Coulter

"Sen. Raphael Warnock, D-Ga.: “Did you say that the CDC was, quote, ‘The most corrupt federal agency in the history of the world?'” Kennedy: “Not the history of the world, but definitely within HHS.” . . .

"Democrats so enjoyed forcing Americans to do silly things during COVID, like starving their children of oxygen and letting Grandma die alone, that they leapt right back to their hectoring at the Senate hearing this week with Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
"Blithely unaware that public health authorities have become objects of seething hatred throughout the land, Democrats — and a few Republicans — harangued Kennedy for not trusting “science” and “experts.”
"Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., began the idiot-fest by accusing RFK of prevaricating during his confirmation hearing when he claimed to be “pro-safety and pro-science.” In fact, Inspector Clouseau charged, the secretary was promoting “fringe conspiracies.”
"Where have we heard about “fringe” theories before? As I recall, the last time was at the beginning of the pandemic, when actual experts (Martin Kulldorff, Harvard Medical School biostatistician, Jay Bhattacharya, doctor and public health economist at Stanford, and Sunetra Gupta, infectious disease epidemiologist at Oxford) published the Great Barrington Declaration, calling for focused protection for the vulnerable (old people) while leaving the rest of us alone.
"As everyone now knows — other than short-haired Karens in Manhattan claiming to have “long COVID” — that is exactly what we should have done.
"But at the time, National Institutes of Health Director Francis Collins called the authors “fringe epidemiologists.” The government’s top infectious disease expert, Anthony Fauci, assured The New York Times that the idea was “unscientific, dangerous and ‘total nonsense.’” The Union of Concerned Scientists piped in, saying GBD was a “dangerous fringe theory.”
"Sweden followed this unscientific “dangerous fringe theory,” imposing no lockdowns, no school closures, no masks and no social distancing. It ended up with the fewest excess deaths of all major European countries — not to mention far, far fewer excess deaths than the U.S.
"Suggestion: When getting on your high horse to sneer at RFK’s staff, maybe choose an adjective other than “fringe.”
