Melania Trump blasts 'coward' Jimmy Kimmel over 'hateful' monologue days before WHCD shooting

Melania Trump Fires Back at Jimmy Kimmel's Awful 'Joke'    . . . "It was disgusting, but on brand for Kimmel. Just a few days after his "joke," Cole Allen actually tried to make FLOTUS a widow after Allen targeted the WHCD.

"FLOTUS isn't letting Kimmel slide on this, either. This morning, she posted on X calling for ABC to take action against Kimmel." . . .

Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country.  His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America.

People like Kimmel shouldn’t have the opportunity to enter our homes each evening to spread hate.

A coward, Kimmel hides behind ABC because he knows the network will keep running cover to protect him.

Enough is enough.  It is time for ABC to take a stand.  How many times will ABC’s leadership enable Kimmel’s atrocious behavior at the expense of our community.

. . . "The Left canceled a rodeo clown for wearing an Obama mask. Never forget that."

Jimmy Kimmel’s Audience Shocked at How Sick He Actually Is Video

"There is a level of evil in the hearts of some people like Kimmel that defies human behavior. He is as despicable a person as anyone could be. He was more than rude and disrespectful; he was hitting below the belt with the intent to embarrass Melania and Donald. I hope his useless career is over. There is no place with anyone like this jerk." Reader comment

"First lady Melania Trump savagely criticized ABC late-night host Jimmy Kimmel as a “coward” Monday after he referred to her as “an expectant widow” two days before Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner shooting.

“Kimmel’s hateful and violent rhetoric is intended to divide our country. His monologue about my family isn’t comedy- his words are corrosive and deepens the political sickness within America,” Trump, 56, wrote in a post on X." . . .

Patricia Heaton urges 'friends on the left' to tone down extreme rhetoric after WHCD shooting  . . .

"On Sunday, Heaton, 68, wrote on X that although she disagreed with past Democratic Presidents Barack Obama, Bill Clinton and Joe Biden, she believes critics of political leaders should reject extreme language and violence.

“I wasn’t happy when Clinton, Obama or Biden won, but I didn’t call them fascist/dangerous/threat to democracy. I didn’t hope someone would assassinate them. I went on with my life with gratitude. Friends on the left, please try this. Your life and our country will be better,” the “Everybody Loves Raymond” star said." . . .

. . . "The White House said Sunday that Allen’s brother contacted the New London Police Department in Connecticut prior to the shooting, reporting that Allen had sent family members an alleged manifesto outlining his intent to target administration officials.

"Officials also said Allen’s social media included anti-Trump and anti-Christian rhetoric.

"Allen’s sister, Avriana Allen, told investigators in Rockville, Maryland, that her brother had made increasingly radical statements and often spoke about doing “something” to address issues in the world.

"Heaton has previously spoken out against inflammatory political discourse. Following the assassination of Charlie Kirk in September 2025, Heaton called out what she saw as the moral hypocrisy of people who were celebrating or mocking Kirk’s death online."

White House Correspondents' Dinner: Live updates, news, Trump speech

RNC Research points out that Schumer has yet to condemn the "radical leftist" who tried to assassinate the president.

Brooklyn Democratic Congressman Hakeem Jeffries thanked law enforcement and proclaimed "the violence and chaos in America must end" on X.

Just three days earlier, Jeffries called for "maximum warfare" against President Trump and the administration.

The Left's Rhetoric of Violence Against Republican Presidents

Dr. Ben Voth - American Thinker

"Our intellectual and academic culture is dangerously creating violent pro-assassination rhetoric that is creating this cultish desire to kill President Trump."

Watch your volume when you play this: “I Hate Him, And I Want to Hate Him More”: James Carville Goes Off on Trump in Profanity-Laced Rant

. . . "Our intellectual and academic culture is dangerously creating violent pro-assassination rhetoric that is creating this cultish desire to kill President Trump. It is not only dangerous to the United States but also the Democrat Party that offers itself as the primary point of peaceful opposition to President Trump. Revered Democrat strategist James Carville recent commended his own ‘trump derangement syndrome,’: "I hate the motherf-----. And you know what? I don't want to get rid of it [TDS]. I don't want to get better. I want to get worse. I want to hate him more." "I pray to God in heaven, God, reign the righteous reign of Trump Derangement Syndrome on me," he continued. "Pray for me, Lord. I'm your vessel on this earth. Pray for the people that listen to this. We want more. We want to hate the son of a b---- so much that we can't see straight.” Carville’s incendiary rhetoric is not unrelated to the manifesto of the most recent shooter: “I am no longer willing to permit a pedophile, rapist, and traitor to coat my hands with his crimes.” Those salacious allegations are common internet talking points for individuals continually challenging one another to ‘do something about Trump.’ The burning of Democrat Josh Shapiro’s home in Pennsylvania is one of a multitude of violent acts instigated by  a growing approval of anti-Republican rhetoric that consumes even Democrat idealists. The time is now for American and global society to embrace debate and reason. That requires public outcry about these calls for assassination."   More...

And sure enough, the lunatic left weighs in on the third attempted assassination of President Trump - American Thinker  "We've seen it before -- the giggling, the gloating. The left always dances a jig whenever evil takes a shot at President Trump, which happened again last night. President Trump charitably called the would-be assassin 'a sick person.' But the left embraced that 'sick.' They hate Trump so much they hailed that sicko and all the evil around him. The most hideous ones were found on X:" . . .

Did the Democrat elite just get a reality check on their assassination fantasies? - Andrea Widburg

"Why Assassins Almost Always Go After Republicans." Well, aren't assassins Democrats?

"Democrats have created a permission structure for all types of political violence."  After Reconstruction, which party would Booth have voted for? (All emphases by TD)

 The American Spectator

"This is why assassins go after Republican presidents. They are an existential threat to the Democratic Party, and Trump is the tip of the spear."

. . . "As Jesus of Nazareth put it, “You shall know them by their fruits.” This brings us to the Democrat claim that violence has no place in politics. Former President Barack Obama echoed this on social media Sunday morning: “Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night’s shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all of us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy.” In reality, he normalized violence against Republicans. Obama, you will recall, described GOP voters as bitter people who “cling to guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren’t like them.”

"It is no coincidence that Hillary Clinton described Trump supporters as “deplorable” and Joe Biden called them “garbage.” Such rhetoric dehumanizes their political opponents. This is why Kamala Harris openly called Donald Trump a “fascist” during her failed presidential bid. If you convince weak-minded people that a politician is dangerous to “our democracy,” it justifies violence against him. Biden told donors five days before Donald Trump was shot in Pennsylvania, “It’s time to put Trump in a bull’s-eye.” There is no doubt that such vitriol incites violence, and that is why Democrats and the corporate media deploy it.

"Democrats have deliberately created a permission structure for all types of political violence, including assassination. As recently as last Wednesday, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries stood before an image of President Trump and called for, “Maximum Warfare Everywhere All The Time.” Sen. Elisa Slotkin (D-Mich.) insists that President Trump is an “existential threat to democracy.” Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) promises that anyone who has cooperated with President Trump and the Republicans will become a target in the future, “We are not going to look kindly on people who facilitated authoritarianism in our country.”

"This is why assassins go after Republican presidents. They are an existential threat to the Democratic Party, and Trump is the tip of the spear. Raskin is issuing a direct threat to the President and his supporters. He said these things the morning after an assassin attempted to get into the White House Correspondents’ Dinner and kill the President and any other administration official he could hit. Remember Raskin’s words on November 3, 2026." . . .

I recall that it was not Republicans that swarmed our streets, supporting the Hamas invaders who murdered and violently raped Israelis during a music event, or at home with their families. Not Republicans who placed infants in ovens and cooked them alive, who killed them with their bare hands.

People who hate this President and those of us who chose him were among those who tore down American historical monuments, painting their anti-American sentiments on statues of American heroes. They have no concept of what a Nazi is nor what the slogans they shout even mean. TD

CNN's Jake Tapper slammed for response after shots fired near Donald Trump

 The Mirror US

One wrote: "Why is this f--- grinning like the Cheshire Cat?" A second echoed: "Jake is smashed from cocktail hour."

“After witnessing last night, drop the TDS and build the White House ballroom for events exactly like these.”  Sen John Fetterman

. . . "Many viewers at home also admited they noticed a difference in Jake's reporting skills, "without a teleprompter". One said, "These news anchors are nothing without their scripted teleprompter." A second added, "Dude is terrible without a teleprompter telling him what to say, or wasted. Maybe both." Many other viewers also admitted Jake's heightened reaction may have been due to the severity and surprise of the situation.

"The President has shared an update on Truth Social, confirming he is safe, and said he will hold a press conference this evening at the White House.

"He began: "Quite an evening in D.C. Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job. They acted quickly and bravely. The shooter has been apprehended, and I have recommended that we 'LET THE SHOW GO ON,' but will be entirely guided by Law Enforcement.

" 'They will make a decision shortly. Regardless of that decision, the evening will be much different from planned, and we’ll just plain have to do it again." . . .

Distressed Erika Kirk sobs heartbreaking 5 words as she flees gunman at WHCD   "Erika Kirk said five heartbreaking words as she was rushed out of the White House Correspondents’ Dinner after a gunman opened fire at the event.

"The Turning Point USA CEO was seen crying and visibly shaken as security officers ushered her out of the Washington Hilton Hotel where the dinner was held on Saturday, April 25. Erika, 37, was reportedly heard saying through her tears “I just want to go home. I just want to go home,” after the gunfire broke out." . . .

"Ahead of the banquet, the California governor’s press office decided to use the opportunity to make fun of the president.

College Student Mocks Brutally Assassinated Charlie Kirk With Sick “In the End He Leaned Left” Joke

 The Gateway Pundit

"You think that’s funny to watch a guy brutally get murdered and just to make jokes about it?”

"The radical left never ceases to amaze with its bottomless depravity.

"Just when you think they can’t sink any lower after celebrating the cold-blooded political assassination of Turning Point USA founder Charlie Kirk last September, a group of deranged far-left students steps up to prove that the Democrat Party’s culture of hate has rotted their brains beyond repair.

"Charlie Kirk, a devoted father, husband, and fearless warrior for America First values, was publicly executed on September 10, 2025, when a gunman shot him in the neck during a Turning Point USA event.

"The assassination sent shockwaves around the world, with millions mourning the loss of one of conservatism’s brightest young leaders.

"But this latest incident takes the depravity to a new low.

"Conservative comedian and street journalist Alex Stein was doing a campus tour when the goth-looking far-left students spewed their disgusting punchline.

“'So, uh, Charlie Kirk was pretty conservative, right? But in the end, he leans left,” the student quipped with a straight face, as her leftist comrades laughed along like it was the funniest thing in the world.

"Alex Stein immediately confronted the sick student and delivered a masterclass in righteous humiliation." . . . More...

Kash Patel's stunning reaction as shooter opened fire on White House Correspondents' Dinner | Daily Mail Online    "FBI Director Kash Patel acted swiftly to protect others as shots rang out at the White House Correspondents' Dinner.

Chaos broke out inside the Washington Hilton after a shooter opened fire in the lobby around 8.15pm, prompting the Secret Service to rush into action, securing President Donald Trump and thousands of guests.

Patel, who was a guest of the Daily Mail alongside his girlfriend, country singer Alexis Wilkins, immediately instructed others at the table to get down.

As reporters huddled on the floor and underneath the tables, Patel yelled 'stay down.'

Daily Mail reporters in attendance reported hearing three to four shots and hearing Secret Service agents yelling to get down.

When it was safe to stand back up, Patel and Wilkins asked the reporters standing next to them if they were OK, and then were escorted out of the ballroom by his security detail.

Too Far? Gerrymandered Virginia Congressional Map Includes California

 Babylon Bee Parody

At publishing time, Governor Spanberger had reportedly reached out to California Governor Gavin Newsom for expert advice on how to use her party's total control to most effectively bankrupt her state.

RICHMOND, VA — The political landscape in the Commonwealth was set to change drastically moving forward, as the new gerrymandered congressional map of Virginia was revealed to include the entire state of California.

The ballot measure was expected to shift the balance of power dramatically in favor of the Democratic Party, as the heavily liberal state of California would now be added to Virginia's newly redrawn map.

"Some might say it's overkill, but we'll take it," said Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger. "Our new congressional map proves that the Commonwealth's brightest days are ahead, with more Democratic members of Congress than you can shake a stick at. And believe you me, you can shake a stick at a lot of Democratic members of Congress."

Critics of the new plan were quick to point out the conflict of interest inherent in including an entirely different state into the map. "How does that even work, exactly?" asked former Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin. "Do California residents now get to vote in Virginia elections? Or do we now just have dozens more congressional districts due to California's population? Does any of this even matter, or does it really just mean Democrats now just have absolute power in Virginia? Granted, I'm asking a lot of questions here that probably should have been asked before the bill was passed. Oh well, I'm not governor anymore. Good luck, Virginians!" . . .

Climate: For decades celebrities said we had one decade to live. But nowwwww...um

That was then:

Before Al Gore there was this: In 1975, Newsweek Predicted A New Ice Age. We’re Still Living with the Consequences.

Then later... Al Gore says the doomsday predictions from climate scientists 20 years ago "were proven dead right," so we should take them even more seriously now.

What Did Al Gore Say About Climate Change?

One of Gore’s most significant contributions to the climate change conversation was his documentary “An Inconvenient Truth,” released in 2006. Through this film, he showcased the undeniable evidence of global warming, presenting scientific data, personal anecdotes, and compelling visuals that illustrated the stark realities of a changing planet.
More from the same source:
The Environmental Impact of the Fashion Industry

Al Gore’s ‘Inconvenient Truth’ turns 20, and critics say biggest disaster is its failed predictions
"Since Gore’s film was released – which was given a sequel in 2017 – Gore has continued to make false predictions, the meteorologist said. In 2009, Gore stated that the Arctic would be ice-free in summer within five to seven years. As of today, the Arctic still has ice in summer."

2019: Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Warns, ‘World Is Going to End in 12 Years,’ Reiterating Claims of Recent U.N. Climate Change Report

"Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, the Democrat from New York, called climate change "our World War II" and warned that the world will end in 12 years if we don't address global warming on Monday."

. . . "Thousands of lives per year could be lost as the elderly or ill suffer from heat stroke and other heat-related trauma. Poor and underdeveloped nations would suffer the worst effects, since they would not have the financial resources to deal with the problems that come with an increase in temperature. Huge numbers of people could die from starvation if a decrease in precipitation limits crop growth and from disease if coastal flooding leads to widespread water-borne illness." . . .

Do we really only have ten years to save the planet?

"The trouble is, we’re already at 1.1°C above this baseline. Without urgent action we’ll pass 1.5°C in around 20 years. This would have catastrophic impacts for our planet, such as more extreme weather, loss of habitats and the species living within them, which could threaten our food and water supplies. Preventing this requires much more action, and this needs to happen right now."

But this is now!   Al Gore Warns 'The Day After Tomorrow' Ice Age Could Happen in 25 Years, 10 Years After 'Inconvenient Truth' Prophecies Failed

In response to this doomsday warning, Whitford sets a more drastic timeline — that if Gore’s energy policies are not enacted, “we’re in an ice age in, like, 10 years.” However, Gore punts the prophecy’s deadline much farther into the future, dodging any chance of accountability."

Zohran Mamdani's First Veto Shows You (Again) Exactly What Type of Guy He Is

Bob Hoge;  RedState

"As Mayor, I will always make sure the right to protest, prayer and protection are guaranteed for every New Yorker." Yeah, especially if they’re violent anti-ICE or pro-Hamas demonstrators.

"Zohran Mamdani issued his first veto as New York City mayor on Friday, and it revealed once more that he is no friend of the Jewish people or a fan of law and order.

"The democratic socialist has spent his approximately three and a half months in Gracie Mansion proving that he is governing exactly the way he told us he would: by endorsing extreme left policies, threatening punitive tax hikes, refocusing the government on “equity” (which is basically just legalized discrimination), and demonizing the wealthy — the very people who prop the Big Apple up.

"Now the man who refused to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada” has vetoed a bipartisan measure meant to keep students safe during protests. What were some of the most violent and destructive demonstrations we’ve seen in NYC in recent years? You got it, the 2024 pro-Hamas, anti-Jewish conflagrations at Columbia University and on the city streets, as well as the January anti-ICE protests, to name but a few.

"Mamdani apparently wants to let rioters do whatever they want:

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is sparking backlash after using his first veto to derail a bipartisan bill aimed at combating antisemitism by expanding protest security safeguards for places of education.

"This could impact workers protesting ICE or college students demanding their school divest from fossil fuels or demonstrating in support of Palestinian rights," Mamdani said in a statement Friday.

"It is a piece of legislation that has alarmed much of the labor movement, reproductive rights groups and immigration advocates, among others, across this city."   More...

NIMBY 1, Mamdani 0: The Base That Cheered Him Now Sues Him

"The lawsuit against the homeless shelter cites, among other things, environmental issues. Seriously? What environment? In that concrete jungle? Oh, I know, the East Village has parks and all that; it's not all brick and cement. But if we put NIMBY on one side of the scale and the environment on the other to see which one motivates the East Village residents more, I'm betting on the former. And, honestly, can we blame them? I can understand they don't want a building full of bums in their neighborhood. But it's not the NIMBY that's interesting here, but the hypocrisy, and the utter lack of understanding of what they were voting for: a clueless" creature of the far-left who has never done an honest day's work in his life."

. . . "But let's be real: When Mayor Mamdani's term is up, should he run for another stint in Gracie Mansion, the East Village will turn out to vote for him, very likely by a 2-1 margin - again."
