Someone Bought the UTSA Student’s Domain Name After She Read a Giddy Poem Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Murder, Now Anyone Who Googles Her Will Know Who They Are Dealing With

"Kirkiversary"? Not an original thought from her. Stay here for her raised fist.

The Gateway Pundit; by Cassandra MacDonald

"The University of Texas at San Antonio student who stood up at a Turning Point USA “Pick Up the Mic” event and read a gleeful parody poem celebrating Charlie Kirk’s assassination has been identified as Isa Casahuga-Lemgruber, and someone bought the domain for her name so that everyone will know just what kind of person she is."

. . . "What makes the video even more disturbing is that there were people there who cheered her on.
"Kirk, of course, was fatally shot in the neck while speaking at Utah Valley University in September 2025.
""Collins posted the video and said he would pray for her.
"Now, someone has registered the domain IsaCasahuga.com and published her information and the poem’s full text so the record of what she said remains permanently available, including to potential future employers.
"The page states she attends UTSA, lists her major, and notes she attended St. Agnes Academy in Houston, a Catholic school." . .  .

"A despicable and [perhaps] mentally unstable student at the University of Texas at San Antonio walked up to the microphone at Turning Point USA's "Pick Up the Microphone" event, read a poem publicly celebrating the assassination of Charlie Kirk, then told the guest speaker he was "brave" because he appeared on campus without wearing any neck protection.

"Christian Collins, founder of Texas Youth Summit, posted a video of the exchange and wrote that the student read the poem "with such joy," then commented on his neck. "Read the rest of the story, with links in the comments."  More.

Trump Shreds Obama for Cheesecake Factory Comments, “He Doesn’t Notice the Dirt and Filth that Hadn’t Been Cleaned”

 The Gateway Pundit

"The bricks can’t be falling off from under the plaster, and for you to say it’s a cheesecake factory that just shows why you were a lousy president,” he added before walking away from reporters."

Uncle Paul's Parodies

"President Trump went off on Obama for attacking his White House renovations, slamming Barack’s “poor taste” and “inability to notice the dirty and broken Presidential living quarters.”
"Obama was out stumping for Democrats on Saturday, and he attacked Trump’s White House renovations. “He should be on HGTV,” Obama said, slamming Trump over the Ballroom, White House Rose Garden, and his helipad.
"“There’s gold everywhere! What’s up with the gold? Everything, more gold! He’s got the White House looking like Saddam Hussein opened up a Cheesecake Factory. It’s gold everywhere!”
"Somehow, Obama thought this is a bad thing.
"“I’ve taken care of the White House. I fixed it with the artisans in the world. We’ve reskinned it. It was in horrible shape. A lot of the ornaments and things originally built for the White House were missing, damaged, or gone for a long time. They were lying on the ground in some cases, and it was in terrible shape,” Trump told reporters in response on Monday.
"“The exterior plaster was broken, cracked. The painting was terrible, and I’ve reskinned the building beautifully with the highest, most talented people anywhere in the world. You’re not going to find more talent, and the White House looks beautiful.”
"Trump then slammed Obama’s poor taste, saying, “Guys like Obama, they would pass the front door; they’d see the broken masonry, they’d see the broken, the beautiful pilasters that were all broken— for years. They were broken, and he wouldn’t notice because he doesn’t notice that. He doesn’t notice dirt and filth that hadn’t been cleaned, where the walls hadn’t been cleaned for years. He doesn’t notice areas that haven’t been painted.”
“So, it’s very easy for me to do. I do it very, very simply because it’s by nature, you know, a very clean person, and the White House was in terrible shape. The White House is now in the best shape it’s been since 1792 when it was built. It’s in beautiful shape,” he said." . . .

Sophie Cunningham Reveals Shocking Toll for Defending Girls, Blasts Players Who Skip the Anthem

RedState

"Sophie Cunningham embodies courage under fire.

"All too often, there have been stories of the Alphabet Mafia (LGBT) engaging in violence in recent years. Violence that has escalated into tangible threats, if not actual assassinations. Conservatives have been victims time and again.

"But even those with enough common sense to declare the reality behind two sexes and the determination to keep biological males out of women's sports (hardly a conservative platform with 90 percent support behind it) have been targets.

"Now, the WNBA enforcer is starting to face those same frightening headwinds.

"Cunningham says the FBI is watching roughly 20 people tied to threats and stalking against her as her public profile has grown. She made the claim during a recent appearance on Theo Von’s podcast, where she discussed the security challenges that come with rising visibility in the WNBA.

"Let's not get this confused, either. Sophie has seen a rise in popularity in part because of her charm, good looks, rapier wit, and the toughness she shows on the court as Caitlin Clark's (for now) enforcer.

"But the spotlight grew exponentially brighter when she took a stance in defense of women and girls.

"Cunningham noted that greater attention brings benefits, but it also brings unwanted attention.

"'We’ll have to check if I’m even allowed to say this," Cunningham said. "I have, I think 20 ... people kind of that the FBI are watching for me. Me alone."

"'We do have a lot of stalkers. I know I do," she told Von. "And like that’s a negative side of things that people don’t think about. And so you do want to feel secure." . . .

Billionaires Compensate Us Many Times Over. Wealth Taxes Endanger That.

Billionaires are wise to distrust the “one-time” promise.

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

Uncle Paul's Parodies

"No matter what happens in Tuesday’s elections, support for wealth taxes keeps growing. Its justification is based on the idea that the very rich owe all of us something, and taxing their fortunes is collecting on that debt. We’re told their success fuels inequality and that it’s selfish of them to keep so much, especially if they don’t proclaim that they want to do more for society.

"Former International Monetary Fund chief economist Olivier Blanchard of France recently gave this narrative a clear voice. Writing on X, he wondered why California’s wealthiest are spending so heavily to defeat Proposition 40, the supposed one-time 5 percent tax on the net worth of billionaires. Blanchard added that billionaires “typically have not indicated that they are building their wealth to eventually make the world a better place.”

"The entire notion misunderstands how fortunes are made. In a market economy, people don’t build great wealth first and redeem it later through good works. They build it by making the world better first.

"When I buy an $800 smartphone, it’s because I value the phone more than whatever else I would have bought with the money. The seller values my $800 more than they do the phone. We both walk away richer by our own measure. Neither owes the other anything more.

"Repeat this exchange a few hundred million times, and vast fortunes take shape for the people who create amazing technology so abundantly and affordably that we take it for granted. More importantly, though, people hand over every cent of it voluntarily.

"As my colleague Arnold Kling aptly explained over the weekend, “Profits are earned within a positive-sum game for society. Profits induce firms to serve consumers and to innovate.” The drive for wealth taxes relies on “the opposite point of view. It regards profits as something that businesses take from the rest of us, as if we can take innovation and efficiency for granted. [It] acts as if we are in a zero-sum environment in which one person’s gain is necessarily another person’s loss.” . . . More.

Secret Scheme To Sabotage GOP Senator Revealed After Democrat Denied Involvement: REPORT

  The Daily Caller

"Peltola visited the other Sullivan’s hometown on May 28, days before he filed to launch his candidacy, according to the Anchorage Daily News."

Uncle Paul's Parodies

"Former Democratic Alaska Rep. Mary Peltola’s campaign reportedly plotted to sabotage Republican Alaska Sen. Dan S. Sullivan’s reelection bid by recruiting a candidate with the same name, The New York Times reported Wednesday.

"Peltola’s team actively searched for other Dan Sullivans to be on the ballot in November to boost the Democrat’s chances of winning, a review by the Times found. An operative introduced by aides from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) made secret trips to Alaskan communities while using a fake name and pitched his idea to would-be candidates over beers at brew pubs.

"Peltola’s campaign lawyers and senior aides at the DSCC participated in regular conversations about the effort and considered forming a new political party to draw conservatives to the ballot, according to the Times.

"The Times interviewed 12 people over the past two months who participated in or were told about the plan. It obtained dozens of text messages that provided updates on the effort. (RELATED: Other Dan Sullivan Advances To General Election Against Incumbent Dan Sullivan)" . . . More.

Democrats' Secret Plan to Stack Alaska Senate Ballot With Spoilers – RedState

. . . "In case you haven't been following along, there are three major players: the Democrats' candidate, former representative Mary Peltola; the incumbent, Senator Dan S. Sullivan (R-AK) and another challenger, named Dan J. Sullivan. There's a third Dan Sullivan, a former mayor of Anchorage, who has endorsed the incumbent Sen. Dan Sullivan." . . .

Alaska's 'Decoy Dan' Scandal Just Got a Whole Lot Worse for Democrats

"As RedState has been reporting, the brewing scandal centers around the appearance of a second "Dan Sullivan" on the ballot, and Republicans are alleging Democrats engineered the whole thing to siphon votes away from incumbent Sen. Dan S. Sullivan (R-AK) and help Democrat Mary Peltola win the seat."

"Oh, who did?" Gutfeld replied. "I don't know who did. It just happened. Another Dan Sullivan showed up. How did that happen? It was just, you know pure coincidence."

"Tarlov continued, so Gutfeld explained what her defense actually cost her. "I get it. But see, what you just do, what you've done is you've opened the door for everything," he said. "Now nothing, now there's no reason to even defend the most low down dirty thing when you defend that." . . .    Video

NYT Confirms Alaska Democrats and Mary Peltola Organized Fraudulent Dan Sullivan Candidate - The Last Refuge   "NEW YORK TIMES – In the summer of 2025, a staffer for Mary Peltola, the Alaska Democrat who was eyeing a run for Senate, received unusual instructions from top campaign aides: Find as many people named Dan Sullivan in

Alaska as you can.

The staffer complied, combing through voter records to produce a list of Dan Sullivans from across the state.

This was no random request. Dan S. Sullivan is the name of the state’s Republican senator. And if the Peltola campaign or its allies could track down and persuade another Dan Sullivan to run for Senate, the confusion could cost the senator crucial votes on the state’s unusual, four-person ballot.

The plan worked. This spring, a retired teacher from a tiny fishing village along the Alaska Panhandle, reachable only by air and sea, announced his candidacy for Senate. His name was Dan J. Sullivan.

Tariffs trump Obama

 Don Surber

"This dustup over Trump making the White House great again reflects Obama’s great regret that he made no history as president. In 8 years in the White House, Obama achieve nothing of consequence. As president, his sole accomplishment remains being the first black president." And the most uses of personal pronouns.

AfterMath - Home

"President Trump and Obama are campaigning hard ahead of the midterm election. Democrats need pick up only three seats to win back the House. The average swing in the past 5 midterms is a gain of 31.2 seats for the party out of power but Obama is sweating this one out.
"On Saturday, Obama was in Detroit campaigning for Abdulrahman Mohamed El-Sayed, D-Muslim Brotherhood. Obama said, “Abdul hasn’t called these tariffs, quote, unquote, ‘masterful,’ even as they’re killing manufacturing jobs right here in Michigan.”
"Also on Saturday, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner at a Trump rally in Georgia announced Audi will build an auto factory in Georgia that will crank out 200,000 premium SUVs a year.
"Döllner said, “First, I would like to thank Mr. President for your support and the great opportunity. It’s a fantastic opportunity for Audi, for the Audi team, and for America. We are planning to bring our biggest and most premium SUVs and produce them here in Macon, Georgia. This is a long-term investment because we believe in the American market.”
"He cited tariffs as a reason behind the decision. Last year, Trump tariffs cost his company $1.4 billion. The new factory will cost $4.2 billion. In three years it will pay for itself by avoiding tariffs alone." . . .

"I cannot think of another public figure whose defining characteristic is disdain and overweening condescension toward everyone. Obama is repugnant for a lot of reasons but his arrogance and disdain for others just make me want to smack him. He just is not a smart man. And he’s a willing carrier for Satan."  From the comments to the above post.

Tim Walz Turns Against Kamala and Embraces This Candidate

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

"Harris was interviewed last week by CNN about Walz’s comments, and she said that she was unaware of them. She was, she said, still deciding whether or not to run for president."

Chat GPT

"I've become friends with school shooters.”

"That was a real line uttered by Tim Walz during the 2024 vice presidential debate, which he entirely flubbed. In her book, 107 Days, Kamala Harris went after Walz — hard — for his debate performance. JD Vance, she said, was acting mid-mannered in order to counter Trump’s anger and insults. “When Tim fell for it and started nodding and smiling at JD’s fake bipartisanship,” Harris wrote, “I moaned to Doug, ‘What is happening?’” She continued, “I told the television screen: ‘You’re not there to make friends with the guy who is attacking your running mate.’” (RELATED: Kamala Harris’s Sad Book Tour Will Now Be Longer Than Her Campaign)

"Harris went on to confirm the veracity of the SNL sketch that aired the following weekend showing her (played by Maya Rudolph) watching the debate alongside her husband, Doug Emhoff (played by Andy Samberg), in disappointment and consternation. “While I did not in fact spit out wine, it was otherwise uncanny in its portrait of our evening,” she said.

"Many Democrats have attributed Harris’s loss to her selection of Walz as her running mate. On election night, campaign surrogate Lindy Li told Fox News’ Jacqui Heinrich: “One of the things that are top of mind is the choice of Tim Walz as vice presidential candidate… A lot of people are saying tonight that it should have been Josh Shapiro. Frankly, people have been saying that for months.”

"Harris hasn’t done much to counter that narrative. Further, she wrote in 107 Days that her first choice for a running mate was Pete Buttigieg, but she thought the U.S. was too homophobic to elect a gay man as vice president.

"Buttigieg, she wrote, “would have been an ideal partner — if I were a straight white man…. But we were already asking a lot of America: to accept a woman, a Black woman, a Black woman married to a Jewish man. Part of me wanted to say, Screw it, let’s just do it. But knowing what was at stake, it was too big of a risk.” (RELATED: Meet the Post-Biden Democrats: Biden’s Democrats)

"Many Democrats don’t want Kamala Harris to run for president again. Earlier this month, 20 Democrats told Politico that she is failing to define herself as a politician in the aftermath of her loss. Former South Carolina Gov. Jim Hodges went after her, saying that Democrats want someone who is “fresh, new” and “I hear a lot of talk about that — ‘we don’t need recycled candidates.’” Harris, he said, “seems like more of the same to me.” . . .More.

Kamala Harris admits to far-left ideas that Democrats will impose on America if elected | Just The News   . . . "Still, Harris is far from alone.

"Veteran Democratic strategist James Carville told party members that if they win both chambers, then the White House in 2028 should “make Puerto Rico [and] D.C. a state, and they should expand the Supreme Court to 13” on day one, advising them to “Don’t run on it. Don’t talk about it. Just do it.”

"Rep. James Clyburn, D-S.C., endorsed the same court expansion on Meet the Press, calling 13 justices, compared to nine now, “a pretty good number” and a “baker’s dozen.”

"Rep. Al Green, D-Texas, in May introduced legislation to increase the number of high court seats to 13. Green lost his reelection bid in a party primary, and it's unclear whether another Democrat House member will champion the issue." . . .

Don’t Buy The Media Lie: Gas Prices Are Not Higher Under Trump Than Biden

 Issues & Insights

"This is the world we live in. One in which “journalists” don’t see their jobs as providing the facts, upon which Americans can draw their own conclusions, but rather as being flacks for Democrats, even if it means bending the facts and twisting the truth."

"This week, Reuters ran a story headlined: “Average price of gasoline during Trump’s term now exceeds Biden’s, as midterms loom.”

""It’s false, which Reuters itself admits in the same story. But who cares what the truth is, so long as it hurts Donald Trump?

"At the top of the report, Reuters says “The price of a gallon of regular gasoline has averaged $3.472 since Trump took office almost two years ago, edging out the $3.471-per-gallon average for Biden’s term, according to data from the AAA.”

"CNN and other news outlets ran the same story.

"But there’s a big, hairy, audacious problem with those numbers. They don’t take inflation into account, which is the only way to make meaningful price comparisons over several years.

"What happens when you do that?

""We got monthly gasoline price data from the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Like AAA, it shows that the average nominal price of gasoline is a tiny bit higher so far under Trump II than it was under Biden — $3.451 vs. $3.446.

"But account for inflation, and you get the opposite answer. The average inflation-adjusted price for gasoline under Biden was $3.89 a gallon. So far in Trump’s second term, prices have averaged $3.52 a gallon.

"That means the average real price for gasoline under Trump is 10% below what it was under Biden." . . .  More.

Really, Is There Anything More to Say About 10/7?

"Hell, Yes, There Is--And There Always Will Be"

Phyllis Chesler

"What more can any of us write about 10/7?  I myself have written nearly forty or fifty articles on this subject, read every book on the subject and viewed most of the films about 10/7. My allies have done so as well. What more is there to say?

"Well, plenty more.

"For example, on October 5th, 2026, in the Jewish Review of Books, Matti Friedman--that most excellent of journalists--gave us a summary of a book by "Israel's most trusted analyst of military affairs." He was writing about Amos Harel's book O6:29, which has not yet been translated from the Hebrew. (Odessa Editions will publish an English version in the spring of 2027.) Friedman called the work a "staggering, infuriating and illuminating account of October 7 and its aftermath."

"In short, Harel assigns misjudgment, failure, and responsibility to every level of Israel's military intelligence, including the Shin Bet, IDF's Chief of Staff, an unnamed intelligence officer, Israel's Minister of Defense, the Prime Minister. Everyone--absolutely everyone--tragically and fatefully "misread all signs of an imminent attack."

"The well-funded, well-organized demonstrations of praise for Hamas kicked into action the very next day all around the world. Islamic, left-wing, and student activists were at it, supporting Hamas's barbarism as an "act of resistance against Israeli oppression." (This was massively funded by Iran, Qatar, and the likes of George Soros et al.)

"Operationalizing the propaganda began before Israel finally went into Gaza to find the hostages and to disarm and/or eliminate Hamas. Individuals, on every continent, tore down the posters bearing the faces of Israeli hostages, yelled at and physically attacked visible Jews in the streets, locked down campuses wearing keffiyehs, face masks, hijabs. What’s worse, professors and high school teachers intensified brainwashing their students with Big Lies, such as Israel (but not Islam, not Iran) is a colonial power, bent on committing genocide in Gaza.

"The other day, an old friend whom I knew when I lived in Park Slope visited--and she had the most chilling tales of what has been happening in the old hood:

"I went into a store on my corner where for years I'd been buying coffee and breakfast. This time, the Arab employee--with whom I'd never said more than ‘Hello, how are you?’--came out from behind the counter and pointed his finger at me, very menacingly shouting, ‘Jew, Jew, Jew killer.’ There was more, a lot more. When I told his boss, the boss shrugged and said, 'Well, he's a Palestinian. I can't do anything about this.’

"Suddenly there were stickers and graffiti up on so many of the multi-million-dollar brownstones that said, 'Free Gaza' or 'Down with Apartheid Israel.' I mean, more than ever before. Right across the street, where wealthy people and their almost adult children live, there was new and larger graffiti for Palestine. I went over at dawn, wearing a mask and a hooded jacket, and sprayed my own counter-graffiti: 'Free Palestine From Hamas.' By late afternoon, these privileged Jew-haters were trying to wash my graffiti away. They were in a rage.

"'You see, I'm the child of Holocaust survivors. I know where such Nazi propaganda and mobs marching in the streets can and have always led."

"Yesterday, I received a notice for a meeting that was to take place that very evening of October 6th in tony Westchester, New York. It was titled: "Westchester for Palestine." A minute afterwards, I received a notice from Ghent, Belgium, about a program about children "resisting colonial oppression.” A professor, Heidi Morrison, "will explore nearly a century of Zionist settler-colonial violence against Palestinian children culminating in the ongoing genocide in Gaza that has targeted 21,000 children by now."

"Ms. Morrison should learn the colonial history of Belgium--for example in the Congo.

"The truth and the facts simply do not register with the likes of Professor Morrison. Arab Muslims are the world's largest colonizers. From Mecca and Medina in Saudi Arabia, Mohammed's soldiers conquered, colonized, and converted other countries in the Middle East, in Africa, and in Central and Far Asia. Muslims even conquered the Buddhist and pagan populations in Afghanistan(!).

"Fundamentalist Muslim leaders practice both gender and religious apartheid, practice slavery, forcibly marry children to much older and polygamous men, forcibly face, head, or body veil women--and honor kill any girl or woman who is alleged to resist these practices. " . . .   More.

When the IDF came too close, Hamas murdered six hostages | All Israel News   "On September 1, Israel celebrated in a wave of joy. The Israel Defense Forces had found the Bedouin-Muslim Israeli hostage Farhan al-Qadi alive in a tunnel. Yet after his rescue, countrywide joy was quickly extinguished by another unspeakable horror that swept through Israel with the force of a lightning bolt. The IDF found the bodies of six murdered hostages in a tunnel below Rafah—less than a mile away from the tunnel where they had rescued al-Qadi. In an act of unimaginable cruelty, terrorists had executed the hostages shortly before soldiers reached them.

"The world must understand the beastly nature of these murderers. In the words of Hamas spokesman Abu Obaida: “The instructions issued to the guards are clear on what to do if the occupying army comes close to a site of detention.” Let this demonic Hamas policy sink in: They murdered six hostages because the IDF troops came too close to where they were keeping them imprisoned." . . .

Report: Sen. Lisa Murkowski Backs Democrat in Alaska Governor's Race

 Breitbart

"Alaska “Republican” Sen. Lisa Murkowski endorsed Democrat Jonathan Kreiss-Tompkins in the state’s race for governor, saying he “understands that governing requires listening to people with different perspectives and finding common ground to solve the problems all of us face,” Alaska Public Media reported.

The November contest will choose a new governor to succeed outgoing two-term Republican Gov. Mike Dunleavy.

In Alaska’s controversial ranked-choice voting (RCV) scheme, Kreiss-Tompkins is the only Democrat in the race against three Republicans: Trump-endorsed Bernadette Wilson, Dave Bronson, and Treg Taylor.

Murkowski’s endorsement of another Democrat is not a surprise given her past support of the left.

In 2024, she backed the failed reelection campaign of Democrat Mary Peltola for Congress and told CNN she refused to vote for President Donald Trump in the presidential contest.

After President Trump’s 2024 win, Murkowski voted against the confirmations of a number of Trump appointees.

She voted against the nominations of Pete Hegseth to serve as Secretary of War, Harmeet Dhillon to serve as Assistant Attorney General, Emil Bove to serve as a Third Circuit Judge on the U.S. Court of Appeals, and Todd Blanche to serve as Attorney General.

President Trump slammed Murkowski in a Truth Social post on October 24, calling her “Republicans’ Worst Senator, by far,” and called the RCV scheme “a TOTAL DEMOCRAT SCAM meant to confuse the Voter” and encouraged Alaskans to repeal it in next week’s general election."

Maryland Child Protective Services Treated Christian Beliefs as Evidence of Parental Unfitness, Black Baptist Parents Allege

One does have to wonder about those who give their hard-earned money to TV celebrities like Jesse Duplantis or Kenneth Copeland for their luxury jets. But that's for another day.

Black Parents Sue Over Alleged Anti-Christian LGBTQ Policy

. . . "Prince George’s County is filled with African-American traditionalist megachurches, and here is an African-American Baptist family of fervent believers, beat down by county and state governments who ‘look like’ them, who have left them no other choice but to file a federal lawsuit,” he said." . . .

"Black Baptist parents in Maryland are suing local and state agencies after losing custody of their son in a transgender dispute. They say their son eventually attempted suicide while in foster care.

"The parents, listed in the lawsuit as Mr. and Mrs. John Doe, sued the state’s Department of Human Services, Prince George’s County Department of Social Services, a social worker, the foster mother, and other officials earlier this month. They claim that officials treated their Christian faith as evidence of parental unfitness because they did not support LGBTQ+ identities.

“The Does’ faith and religious liberty brought the weight of their own government against them,” Amos Jones, the parents’ attorney, told the Daily Signal in a statement Monday. “We are calling on Governor Wes Moore and County Executive Aisha Braveboy to correct this affront to Christian families in a county full of traditionalist black megachurches.”

"The son, who was diagnosed with autism, had engaged in self-cutting, and the parents took him to Children’s National Hospital, Jones told the Daily Signal. The staff there began referring to the son by a female name and referred him to Prince George’s County Child Protective Services.

"According to the lawsuit, authorities removed the son from his parents’ custody and placed him with a foster mother. After some time with the foster mother, the son attempted suicide and ended up in the hospital. The parents also claim their son had been carried across state lines without their knowledge.

"Jones said Child Protective Services ultimately found the parents fit and did not substantiate abuse allegations against them. “Nevertheless, their child got snatched and wound up living across state lines, gone ever since then, because the system decreed that his ‘best interests’ were not with his own parents.”

"The parents filed a complaint with Child Protective Services in August 2022 after learning about the suicide attempt. According to the lawsuit, the Department of Human Services repeatedly failed to address their concerns. Ultimately, the parents filed a complaint with the State Treasurer, seeking compensation for state harms under the Maryland Tort Claims Act, but the treasurer denied their request.

"In October 2024, the parents learned that Prince George’s County child-welfare programs participated in the AFFIRM project, an LGBTQ+ youth program connected to a $10 million grant from the Department of Health and Human Services.

"The lawsuit alleges that government officials treated the parents’ Christian beliefs regarding sex and gender as evidence of danger and “reflected a governmental program or practice that treated non-affirming Christian parents as unsafe or harmful.” . . . More.
