In a dream, when you trip or fall you jerk yourself awake, but if you’re already awake and reality smacks you across the face, does your mind get a jolt and realize that something was wrong? For smart people, it does – though, smart people tend not to need that smack. For dumb people, nothing will snap them out of their haze.
