University of Texas Student Reaps the Whirlwind After Reading Depraved ‘Kirkiversary’ Poem at TPUSA Event

"Since the video went viral on X, Casahuga has reaped a whirlwind of scorn and opprobrium, with online sleuths quickly identifying her. Someone even bought the domain for her name, creating a website to serve as a permanent online record of her disgraceful display."  Debra Heine

. . . "Sadly, the celebration of Kirk’s assassination, gruesomely captured on video, is nothing new for leftists.
"Thousands of depraved individuals openly shared their gleeful reactions on social media, arguing that the 31-year-old conservative husband and father somehow deserved it, and mocking Ericka Kirk, his surviving wife. They also expressed support for more political violence against their political opponents.
"It was so bad, that the State Department immediately began revoking the visas of foreign nationals who celebrated Kirk’s assassination." . . .

Kirk anniversary comes as GOP pushes to energize voters    "The one-year anniversary Thursday of the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk comes as Republicans try to galvanize voters ahead of the midterm elections.

"Kirk, 31, the co-founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed Sept. 10, 2025, during a public event at a university in Utah. On his organization’s website, a memorial to the husband and father appears prominently.

"His widow, Erika Kirk, has led Turning Point USA since last year and is attending the Republican midterm convention in Texas this week.

"President Donald Trump remembered Kirk during a speech in Dallas on Wednesday night. Supporters have credited Kirk and Turning Point USA with helping Trump make gains with younger voters in 2024.

"'Exactly one year ago tomorrow, a far-left extremist assassinated my great friend and conservative voice, Charlie Kirk, because Charlie Kirk spoke the truth,” Trump said.

"In Kirk’s absence, Turning Point USA says it has seen “unprecedented expansion,” with more than 1 million students involved in its programs during the 2025-26 school year."

'Kirkaversary' social media trend sparks fury as sick celebrations of Charlie Kirk's death continue on 1st anniversary

"A self-described Portland, Oregon, tattoo artist shared on social media that they were offering “$50 neck tattoos” with “the exact placement of the kirkhole.'”

Kirk’s death prompts shock, grief across Gen Z ideological lines | Reuters

“When they took a shot at Charlie, they’re almost taking a shot at the very idea of open debate and free expression,” he said. “This is something that no one on either side is going to stand for. I think what we’ll see is cooler heads prevail and a more positive message break through.”

Ilhan Omar's family history make her genocide allegations against Israel even more outrageous

NY Post

"But with her own family’s bloody history, it takes real chutzpah to join in the “genocide” slurs, e.g. by insisting Jewish students at Columbia University are “pro-genocide” and routinely condemning Israel’s supposed “genocidal” campaign against Palestinians."

"Rep. Ilhan Omar’s apparent lies about her family and finances are bad enough, but nothing is as outrageous as the way she slanders Israel with the “genocide” libel when her own father in all likelihood took part in Somali dictator Siad Barre’s real genocide.

"Omar in her memoir calls her father Nur Omar Mohamed an “educator,” yet it looks like the only educating he did was teaching Barre’s enemies lessons in brutality as a colonel in the Somali Army in the 1980s.

"The Barre regime committed horrific atrocities against the Isaaq clan, killing at least 200,000 and displacing another 900,000 in a massive ethnic cleansing.

"The United Nations, Human Rights Watch, the International Crisis Group and virtually every other authority agrees that the campaign against the Isaaq was genocidal in intent and in practice: Government forces strafed fleeing civilians, planted land mines at wells and systematically raped girls and women.

"There can be little doubt that Omar’s dad was involved in the genocide. As historian and Oxford University doctoral researcher Mohamed Haji Ingiriis told The Post, “Nur Said was a military officer who was loyal to the regime until the end. He was part and parcel of those who caused and created the mayhem they ‘fled’ to live comfortably in the United States.”

"Nur Said and his family escaped Somalia as “refugees” following the collapse of Barre’s dictatorship, gaining asylum in the United States in 1995 — improperly, it seems, as war criminals are not entitled to refugee protections." . . . More.

FORTRESS America: Better late than never

"We should have implemented something like this decades ago."

American Thinker

"Under FORTRESS, every major military installation in the continental U.S. must be capable of operating off grid for at least 90 days without relying on outside municipal water, fuel, civilian power networks, or supply chains."

"Recently, the Department of Defense (DoD) announced the launch of the FORTRESS initiative.  The goal of this ambitious program is to address concerns that a major war, EMP, or cyber-attack could disable the U.S.’s civilian infrastructure and disrupt global supply chains.

The military loves acronyms: FORTRESS stands for “Federal Operations for Resilience, Troop Resources, Energy, Supply, and Survivability.”  Survivability?

Yes, survivability.  The Pentagon developed FORTRESS to treat infrastructure resilience as a direct component of military readiness.  Sounds reasonable, but why now?

Several issues, none of them new, initiated DoD action on FORTRESS.

The Loss of “Oceanic Protection”

In the past, we’ve always assumed that the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans insulated us from foreign threats.  Sure, there was Venezuela, but President Trump took care of that, and Cuba, well...

The Pentagon finally realized that this assumption was outdated.  They cite long-range precision weaponry that can traverse oceans, global cyber-networks that disrupt the grid, and gray-zone warfare just short of the line that triggers a conventional war.  Also, there are numerous domestic threats, including myriad cells of foreign agents that came in during the presidency of Joe Biden (or at least his handlers).

“Power Is Combat Now”

This quote, attributed to Pentagon official Sean Parnell, emphasizes how much the military currently depends on civilian-controlled electrical grids and power generation.  Without electrical power, critical defense capabilities like communications and logistics collapse.  An enemy only has to disable the civilian grid to cripple command structures and troop mobilization, not to mention the production of military hardware.  The military aims to make every base energy self-sufficient.

Can the West Be Saved? ‘Strange Death of Europe’ Author Douglas Murray Says It’s Not Too Late.

 PJ Media

Gove asked Murray why so many of the rioters in France were either wearing the keffiyeh or waving the Palestinian flag, which, he said, is more prominent than the Union Jack in some parts of Britain.

. . . "Schueftan takes no comfort in that negative contrast with America, for if there’s one thing he fears more than the destruction of Israel, it’s the decline of America. He warned Anderson, “If America becomes what the Democratic Party is today, my concern about the existence of Israel is the smallest of my concerns, because freedom in the world is over. Yeah. If the Americans become progressives, the world will be dominated by people who will destroy freedom in the world.”

"Another person who worries about the future of America and the West is columnist Douglas Murray, whose book The Strange Death of Europe came out in 2017. Michael Gove of The Spectator interviewed Murray this week, and their discussion focused on whether Western civilization can still be saved. In contrast to an Israel that is willing, even eager, to defend itself, Murray described a European continent that is basically committing suicide.

"One piece of evidence for that is the declining birth rate in European countries, which are not reproducing at replacement level. But Murray pointed out that Japan also has a low birth rate but doesn’t have open borders and hasn’t “welcomed in unassimilable levels of migration.” He blamed the UK’s migrant problem on politicians’ ineptitude and short-term thinking, noting that he first heard that there were at least a million illegal immigrants in the UK 15 years ago, yet only a few hundred have been removed since then. Instead, the government escorts them in, as Murray described:

Essentially everybody knows, as with the small boats crisis on the south coast, with people coming from France illegally every day, that nothing is done to stop them. On the contrary, the British authorities act as part of the smuggling gangs. Our own government’s boats go out and meet a small dinghy, or a quite large boat sent by a smuggling gang, a little way off the coast of France, and then carefully escort the relevant men, and they’re almost always young men, into the UK. The reason they come is that they know they’ll stay, and they do stay." . . .

Russia Collusion Hoaxer Marc Elias Tied To Alaska Ballot Scandal

"The Democrat attack dog’s law firm represents Mary Peltola’s campaign, accused in the ‘Decoy Dan’ ballot scheme to confuse voters."

The Federalist

"Before The New York Times piece dropped, Elias told MS Now hack and former Biden White House press secretary Jen Psaki that Trump is “trying to decide who wins elections” in Alaska."

"The only thing that should be surprising about The New York Times’ bombshell report on the Democrats’ “Decoy Dan” scheme is that the Dem-friendly newspaper a) reported on it and b) actually published it.

"Republicans — particularly the campaign of Alaska Sen. Dan S. Sullivan — have for months been telling everyone — that Dan J. Sullivan was a ballot plant compliments of Rep. Mary Peltola, the Democrat opponent of the incumbent Sullivan.

"The New York Times piece claims Peltola wasn’t directly involved in the effort to recruit a same-name candidate to draw votes from her main opponent, but she was “definitely aware.” Her campaign, according to the story, was very much involved in dealing with a slimy Democratic Party operative who apparently played point man in the scheme and a powerful cadre of national Democrats behind it.

"The players, according to The Times, included the law firm led by perhaps the slipperiest of snakes in the leftist lawfare movement — the man at the center of the Russia collusion hoax.

"Marc Elias, who peddled the infamous Steele Dossier in the hoax, again stands in the shadows of another scandal, with one of his law firm’s attorneys named in The New York Times piece. That attorney and the firm could soon be under congressional investigation." . . .

Mary Peltola Proclaims Her Innocence, but Some Alaska Voters Aren't Buying It   . . . "Robby, who works as a sculptor, said Peltola "betrayed the trust of Alaska voters."

"While I believe it's not against the law, I believe it was underhanded and I consider it cheating by the Mary Peltola campaign," he said outside the Midtown Mall after casting his ballot. "It's unconventional to find a person with the same first and last name to run agains the candidate that you're running against. I don't think it's done very often, probably almost never."

Privileged upbringing of liberal college student who mocked Charlie Kirk's death

Tunnel Wall 10/30: Someone Bought the UTSA Student’s Domain Name After She Read a Giddy Poem Celebrating Charlie Kirk’s Murder, Now Anyone Who Googles Her Will Know Who They Are Dealing With

UK Daily Mail

"'It's a BYOE, you know, vaccines included. S***'s free, see y'all there. That's all,' she said as she turned toward Collins and smiled. 'Are you happy with yourself now?' he asked her. 'Baby, I'm thrilled,' she responded before carrying on with her neck brace line."

"The college student who said she was 'thrilled' to mock Charlie Kirk's death before calling another conservative activist 'brave' for not protecting his neck attended a $30,000-a-year all-girls prep school and is the daughter of a Brazilian woman, the Daily Mail can reveal.

"Isabela Casahuga Lemgruber, 19, appeared to threaten political commentator Christian Collins during an event Collins hosted at her school, the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), last month, according to records reviewed by The Dallas Express.

"Lemgruber, a former debate team member at St Agnes Academy in Houston, shared a handwritten poem that mimicked 'Twas the Night Before Christmas' while detailing Kirk's death, according to a video Collins shared on Wednesday.

"Kirk, 31, was fatally shot in the neck in September 2025 while speaking at a public event at Utah Valley University. His death, which was filmed in real time, has been followed by hateful rhetoric ever since.

"Collins posted another video on Thursday identifying Isabela and stating that she viewed his Instagram story after he posted the clip of her.

"Before she started at the university, her former high school shared an announcement in a since-deleted social media post that congratulated her. The school also shared that she's a freshman studying international relations and diplomacy at UTSA." . . .

About her parents:   . . . " According to her biography, Paula 'was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is married to a Spaniard and has two beautiful daughters who are citizens of the world."

"Over the past two decades, the family has moved to more than nine cities across five countries and settled in Houston five years ago, the description read.

"Paula's LinkedIn also stated that she worked for several companies in Brazil before relocating to the US. The page was deactivated on Thursday afternoon.

"Isabela's father, Guillem Casahuga, is a partner at Arthur Little - an international management consulting firm, according to the company's website. " . . .

Isa Casahuga Turns Charlie Kirk’s Assassination Into A Campus Mockery   "There are lines that should never be crossed in a free society. Mocking the assassination of a political opponent is one of them. On October 27, 2026, at a Turning Point USA event at the University of Texas at San Antonio, a student named Isabela Casahuga-Lemgruber a.k.a. Isa Casahuga crossed that line in public and on camera. She recited a parody of “The Night Before Christmas” that turned the murder of Charlie Kirk into the central joke, then directed a remark about unprotected necks at a conservative speaker standing in front of her.

"Kirk was shot in the neck and killed on September 10, 2025, while speaking at Utah Valley University. He was 31 years old. He left behind a wife, children, and a movement that had made him one of the most effective conservative organizers of his generation. Nearly fourteen months later, his death became material for a campus performance that treated the fatal wound as entertainment.

"This was not edgy satire. It was a public celebration of political violence dressed up as poetry. Americans who still believe that murder is not a punchline should treat the episode with the seriousness it deserves." . . .  Full article...

The Tyranny of #BeNice

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics

"[W]hat they really care about is a kind of do-gooder, feel-good tyranny that they can ram down the throats of everyone else."

In case of riots, I'm good.

"On the eve of the midterm elections, one searches in vain for a coherent expression of the ideology that animates the widely predicted “blue wave” that will roll over the country, bringing about Democrat Party dominance of every branch save the presidency. To the extent that foundational beliefs can be detected, they posit that Republicans, particularly, but not exclusively, President Trump are “not nice,” while the Democrats, even the Mamdani radicals, are the party of “nice.”
"The “#BeNice” movement has been a long time in coming, but it’s now firmly ensconced across the left. All manner of objectively horrible proposals gain favor when adopted by the party of “nice.” Its adherents bask in their good intentions. They look in the mirror each morning and exclaim, “Oh, what a nice person I am,” and they know that all their like-minded friends are similarly “nice.” This, it seems, is the unifying philosophy, and “be nice” is their secularized version of the Second Great Commandment. (RELATED: The High Priests of Performative Goodness)
"Many of them, of course, claim to be Christians. Indeed, they frequently claim to be the best Christians, superior in every way to their more conservative brethren in Christ. And they have weaponized “love thy neighbor as thyself,” turning it into a cudgel with which to beat those who disagree with their several pieties, such as “no person is illegal, or “my body, my choice.” (RELATED: James Talarico’s Strange Religion)
"In this, sadly, they’re backed by a great many of their pastors. I have a former friend, a decent woman, but one fully in thrall to “be nice” Christianity. Her local pastor, evidently, is a font of “be nice” platitudes, and not just those of his own creation. He apparently serves as a conduit linking his parishioners to all manner of self-righteous “love thy neighbor” memes, which my former friend dutifully posts to her Facebook page.
"For anyone who cares to compare, these memes line up almost perfectly with the political messaging of the Democrat Party and its counterparts in Western Europe. “Be nice,” it seems, has become an international phenomenon, along with “we care,” as in, “we care more than those horribly benighted conservatives.” We care about the environment, we care about peace, we care about human rights — and so it goes, ad infinitum and ad nauseam. (RELATED: Paris Is Burning. Is Washington Next?)" . . .
Perhaps then it’s time we start fighting back against the “be nice” fanatics, starting with the words they enjoy throwing around so carelessly. Tell these benighted souls that “genocide” is what radical Islamists wish to do to Jews and, increasingly, to Christians — and not the way they would have it. “Love your neighbor” should extend to those neighbors who simply wish to still live in the culture handed down by their ancestors. “Reproductive freedom” should be replaced with “support for infanticide.”

El-Sayed’s Campaign Attack Dog Hasan Piker Compares Jewish Voters to Ku Klux Klan

Geller Report

"By G-d, Democrats are running on raging Jew hatred ahead on Tuesday’s elections.

"Abdul El-Sayed has not criticized Piker himself." . . .

Full content here.

"The area’s representative in the Michigan state government, Noah Arbit, said: “This kind of insane, unhinged, repugnant and hateful rhetoric threatens every single one of us in West Bloomfield. It is this kind of rhetoric that radicalizes people and incites them to violence.”

"One of Jewish voters’ primary complaints about El-Sayed is that he equivocated about an attempted terror attack on a synagogue and preschool in West Bloomfield by stating, “Hurt people hurt people.”

"El-Sayed came under fire earlier this week when Piker’s uncle, Cenk Uygur, another prominent media figure, posted a campaign advertisement for El-Sayed that blamed Israel for food prices in the US. His campaign distanced itself from the message." . . .  More.

UPDATE: Hasan Piker Triples Down on the Hate, Compares Jewish Voters to KKK – RedState

. . . "Toxic is too soft a word for this guy. He also kept noting that he’ll probably get action on social media for his diatribe, which seemed to excite him to no end. Is that the real purpose of his incendiary circus act?

In its heyday, the KKK was known for vicious discrimination against black people and its support for lynchings. I’m pretty sure there are very few, if any, American suburban Jews who have been accused of such atrocities.

It was too much for even another poisonous Democrat politician, Sen. Elissa Slotkin (D-MI), who’s been going around bragging that she’s going to attack anyone who worked for the Trump administration with lawfare and make their lives miserable."

Some of the comments to this video:

"I still cannot comprehend such atrocities. The brutality was purely demonic. How can any normal human beings to be silent about it???? I am not Jewish, I am not Hebrew, I am Christian and I find it difficult to be like my Lord Jesus and forgive these monsters. It was demonic. Indeed at this stage humanity needs to come closer to God and pray, pray, pray. We do not battle with just flesh and blood but with the invisible principalities, powers and authorities of the dark realms. May God Almighty have mercy on us all."

'So angry that so many people and the media deny this happened. Yet the horror was known soon after the atrocities of October 7th. That Western women deny this happened is abhorrent. That these same women are still protesting and wearing keffiyehs on our streets is a travesty and morally bankrupt. Shame on every female in particular who denies these atrocities happened. God rest all the Israeli women who were subjected to savagery and then death and the Israeli men who tried to defend them and were, too, slaughtered. Am Yisrael Chai '

This May Be the WNBA's Most Despicable Act Yet

 RedState

"Imagine being a 10-year-old girl, invited to sing your country's National Anthem on one of the biggest stages in women's sports, only to look out and see that the very athletes you're performing for couldn't be bothered to stick around. Some role models, eh?"

"The WNBA's PR nightmare continued apace Thursday as the Atlanta Dream and Golden State Valkyries faced off for Game 6 of the WNBA Finals at Atlanta's State Farm Arena.

As is their appalling custom, the players left the court after their pre-game warm-ups – and just as the first strains of The Star-Spangled Banner started to play – in what they apparently must think is a brave act of solidarity and much-needed public rebuke of the country that has empowered them to reach the highest echelons of professional sport.

Not a humble, grateful bunch of gals, these WNBA players.

This time, however, the optics were even worse than usual, as the players stormed from the court and turned their backs on the 10-year-old girl singing the National Anthem. Obviously, even having a little girl sing the anthem wasn't enough to get these players to stick around for two minutes.

So much for being role models to the next generation of young women.

'It's Wrong': Nancy Pelosi Stuns Democrats, Throws Down on El-Sayed Ahead of Michigan Election   . . . "It’s a chessboard calculation based on demographics, at the end of the day, not a moral commitment to treating people the right way — that is to say, equally regardless of race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or ethnicity.

The modern Democrat Party doesn’t believe in any of that. Don’t let them fool you.

If the Left’s hatred of the “All Lives Matter” response during the BLM riots didn’t convince you that these aren’t actually “liberals” that we are dealing with, nothing will.

So, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that the Democrat Party is turning against Jewish Americans after it abandoned Asian Americans and has flat-out demonized white Americans according to their imaginary “privilege.”

As RedState's Nick Arama reported Monday, Rebellion PAC, a political organization co-founded by The Young Turks commentator Cenk Uygur, released an advertisement portraying American grocery shoppers blaming U.S. support for Israel for their inability to afford food.

The advertisement features a couple discussing grocery prices before the woman tells her partner:

"Honey, you're going to have to put those eggs back. They like eggs, but we have to set that $7 aside for killing Palestinians." . . .

People Call Out Michigan Senate Ad As Anti-Semitic in Huge Backlash – RedState  . . . "There's been such a backlash that the El-Sayed campaign has issued a statement trying to distance itself from it, stating that the ad was "not affiliated in any way with the Abdul for Senate campaign.”

“'No one speaks for Abdul but himself and his campaign,” the campaign claimed.

"Democrats for Mike Rogers called the campaign’s response “absolutely pathetic.”

“Abdul can’t condemn this disgusting antisemitic ad,” they emphasized. “It’s disqualifying.”

"There's another twist in this whole saga. Did you notice in the ad they spoke about the price of eggs? But eggs are cheap now, far cheaper than they were under Joe Biden, in part, because of the efforts of the Trump administration. They're $1.67/dozen in my area in Texas. Also, bananas are pretty cheap.

"There's a reason that egg number may be off - because the part of the ad with the couple in the grocery store is a  recycled ad  from Cenk Uygur's failed presidential campaign in 2024.  Who was in the Oval Office then? Hint: not a Republican. Now, the ad was just wrong to begin with, but it's hilarious that the original ad was bashing the prices under Joe Biden." "
