I did find out one important thing in my 20 year U.S. Army career - DON'T MESS WITH THE SPECIAL OPERATORS!
Regardless of whether or not you are their immediate "leg" commander, or even CIC - you may win a temporary victory - but they will get you in the end as Military Intelligence colonel found out the hard way in a "pissing" contest we got into with SF at Ft. Devens, Massachusetts in the late 1970s:-)
What they are going to do to Obama in the days leading with to the first Tuesday in November is gonna be fun and make the "Swift Boating" of Kerry look pretty mellow :-)
