UPDATED: Political correctness; a sword hanging over Western nations

Danish-Iranian artist convicted of racism   "Firoozeh Bazrafkan was charged with racism after writing in a blog entry, published in Jyllands-Posten newspaper in December 2011, that she was "very convinced that Muslim men around the world rape, abuse and kill their daughters".
"She added: "This is, according to my understanding as a Danish-Iranian, the result of a defective and inhumane culture – if you can even call it a culture at all. But you can say, I think, that it is a defective and inhumane religion whose textbook, the Koran, is more immoral, deplorable and crazy than manuals of the two other global religions combined."  Full interview
Then there are comments by PC's useful idiots:
I’ll bet your references are movies like ‘’Argo’’ or ‘’not without my daughter’’, plus BBC, CNN and etc! I’m not a religious person and I believe no good would come out of any religion whatsoever but I can’t see the differences between American, Iranian, Russian… governments, not even al-qaeda and their logics! All of them are torturing, killing and kidnapping people. Seriously, you should read some books and travel to Iran, to replace your ‘’DOCUMANTATIONS’’!

Watch As These Students Defend Obama's Peace Prize: 'I don't know why he deserves it, I'm just a fan.'   "Students at USC still think Obama deserves the Peace Prize despite wanting to take the US into war with Syria.
"There are some pretty funny explanations as to why:"

Another Campus Bursts Into Flames Over Politically Incorrect Remark  "College campuses are supposed to be places where ideas are rationally and unemotionally considered, but as we know, some ideas cause academics to go batty. John Rosenberg writes about such an instance at the University of Virginia in the Pope Center Clarion Call. The case is similar to that of Larry Summers some years ago at Harvard. Here, the offender is a trustee and the outraged, offended faculty can’t fire him, but that won’t stop the frenzy.

"Women, work, and political correctness lead to trouble."

Teacher Forbids 10 Year Old From Writing About God  "Her teacher did not see this as an innocent Christian child writing about something she truly
believes. Instead, the teacher told the girl that she could not use God as the subject of her assignments, and later told the girl’s mother that, because it had to do with religion, the girl could not write about it. She went so far in her attempts to separate this little girl’s religion from school as to demand that the girl take the paper home saying it could not remain on school property."
