The NY Times reports, speaking "truth to power". Fails to print comparisons of Trump to Obama

Washington Mourned John McCain. President Trump Played Golf.
. . . "For President Trump, it was Saturday.
"In the many discussions about how to mark his life that Mr. McCain had with his staff and family before he died, he had made clear he did not want Mr. Trump to participate in anything they planned. So as Mr. McCain was eulogized in the presence of much of the American political establishment, Mr. Trump, pointedly uninvited, engaged in what by now is a familiar weekend routine. He sent a series of angry tweets aimed at some political adversaries, then left the White House to play a round of golf at his resort in Virginia." . . .

But wait! There's more!
"He had just hung up the telephone with the devastated parents before heading in front of the cameras. Unusually emotional, President Obama declared himself “heartbroken” by the brutal murder of an American journalist, James Foley, and vowed to “be relentless” against Islamic radicals threatening to kill another American.
"But as soon as the cameras went off, Mr. Obama headed to his favorite golf course on Martha’s Vineyard, where he is on vacation, seemingly able to put the savagery out of his mind. He spent the rest of the afternoon on the links even as a firestorm of criticism erupted over what many saw as a callous indifference to the slaughter he had just condemned." . . .
Cold-hearted, you say? Remember Obama's Barrycades!
"Readers may recall that during the Iraq War, anti-war activist Cindy Sheehan was made into a celebrity who covered her every move as she criticized President Bush. Over the weekend, patriots and veterans gathered at the monuments in Washington, DC closed by the Obama Administration in their phony shutdown and removed the "barrycades" and even took some of them to the White House with a note "return to sender." You probably didn't hear much about that as it went largely uncovered by the so-called "news" media.
"I guess the liberal media doesn't want Americans to know that angry veterans have figured out who is to blame for the unprecedented blockade of their memorials.
"Here are some pictures you won't see in your newspaper:

. . . "Among the patriots and veterans was Johnny "Joey" Jones, a Marine who lost his legs while trying to defuse bombs in Afghanistan. His heart wrenching story is here. This country is so blessed to have brave patriots like Joey and he was at the World War II Memorial this weekend to lend his support. We owe Joey, as well as [his] fellow comrades who did not come back more than blockades!" . . .

Obama may have ice water in his veins and I do not think him capable of compassion such as that which President Trump showed to this man:

I visualize the CNN headline saying "Trump slaps armless man" TD
