America's treasured history on the hands of this millennial generatiom

Only after it is too late will they cry, "What have we done?"

Statue of Francis Scott Key Toppled in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park
"Protesters toppled the statue of Francis Scott Key in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park on Friday, June 19, as the trend to remove historical figures who engaged in racist practices in their lifetimes continues across the country. Statues for Key and Junipero Serra, a Catholic missionary, were dismantled by protesters in the park on Friday evening, according to reports. This video captures the monument to Key, best known for writing the lyrics for the American national anthem The Star Spangled Banner and reported to have owned slaves, being pulled down by protesters. Calls have been made for other statues of Serra in California to be removed, on the grounds that he “committed atrocities against Native Americans in the 18th century,” according to local media. Listen to the sounds of youthful cheering. I recall hearing those sounds at Beto O'Rourke rallies. TD
