"This year's awards, hosted by Amy Poehler and Tina Fey, appears to be headed for a ratings fiasco.

"Early figures for this year's more "woke" Golden Globes indicate that ratings for the annual entertainment industry awards have crashed by more than sixty percent.

"In the absence of Ricky Gervais as host, the awards saw an increase in political messaging, woke lecturing, and propaganda from left-wing celebrities.

"In previous years, Gervais's hosting remarks had gone viral after the British comedian roasted celebrity privilege while blasting liberal cancel culture and political correctness.

"The 78th annual Golden Globes was virtual for 2021, however, and was hampered by Zoom glitches, obscure nominees, and a total absence of both the fashion red carpet and Gervais's grounding hosting skills." . . .
