Interpreting Sunny Hostin on ‘The View’ | Ricochet "There was a headline that caught my attention on Gateway Pundit: “Racist Sunny Hostin of ‘The View’ Lectures Guest Host Saying ‘Black Republicans are an Oxymoron’ and She Doesn’t ‘Understand Black and Latino Republicans.’” Gateway offers a lot of red meat on the website, so I don’t always expect that the article that follows will be a full and fair disquisition of what happened. But this article was a pretty straightforward statement of what The View cast member Sunny Hostin had to say:
"'It seems that the whole point of The View is to energize a voting bloc by shouting the craziest anti-American talking points while creating the illusion of a mob behind them with the APPLAUSE sign lighting up at just the right moments.". . .
"Better to watch the anti-View, “Outnumbered”. Actual accomplished women, intelligent discussions, no rabid mob.
"(And much prettier… a sexist would say.)
"It was a brilliant business move for Fox News to offer an alternative."
