The White House Refuses To Speak On About Raid On Trump (thefederalist.com) Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre continually deflected questions regarding the FBI’s unprecedented raid on former president Donald Trump’s home in Mar-a-Lago in Tuesday’s press briefing.
"Jean-Pierre only addressed the events that took place at Trump’s Florida home Monday evening after being questioned whether President Biden or anyone else at the White House was aware of the search warrant or if they were briefed in the aftermath. Jean-Pierre claimed ignorance, saying no one was aware of it.
"She goes on to claim that Biden believes in “the rule of law, in the independence of the Justice Department investigations,” and that those investigations should be “free from political influence.” Such a statement contradicts the Justice Department’s cherry-picking of cases to pursue, such as labeling parents as “domestic terrorists” but not investigating the mounting evidence suggesting the Biden family’s business ties to China.
"Peter Doocy of Fox News noted that Jean-Pierre and the Biden administration, who are usually vocal about their contempt towards the former president, were oddly silent on the events and asked if this means they consider him to be a political threat.
