Townhall "The question is, what makes one death “more important” or “newsworthy” than another? The answer is simple: The degree to which Democrats can exploit it to their advantage."
"It really is that simple. In the grand scheme of things, George Floyd was a junkie who resisted arrest. What happened to him shouldn’t have, but the police didn’t rob his kid of their father that day, crack did years earlier.
"If any of the politicians and pundits who’d declared him to be a saint over the manner of his death had given a damn about him while he was alive, he would still be alive today. And if he were, they’d ignore him just like they did when he was.
"Same goes for the latest attempt by Democrats to simultaneously be seen as caring about something they couldn't care less about and stoke racial divisions for their own benefit in the death of Jordan Neely.
"Do you really think Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is upset that a homeless man died while being restrained after threatening a subway car full of passengers? Tweet anything remotely negative to her, no matter how accurate, and she’s nailing herself to a cross about how everyone wants to hurt her or date her. She’s not a serious person. That she called it “murder” without knowing anything other than the skin colors of the victim and the person leftists accuse of killing him tells you everything you need to know about her and the coverage of this case.". . .
