"A 69 year-old Jewish man was killed in California on Sunday after a confrontation with pro-Palestinian protesters in what many are considering to be a “hate crime.”
A 65 yr-old Jewish man named Paul Kessler, was murdered by a pro-Hamas supporter in Westlake Village, CA, for holding an Israeli flag. He was hit over the head w a megaphone, and died from a brain hemorrhage.

" The victim has been identified as Paul Kessler, 69, who has been described as a “man committed to peace and committed to Israel,” according to Daily Mail. Kessler found himself caught between rival rallies in Thousand Oaks, California on Sunday, with one supporting Israel and the other supporting Palestine.
"Reports allege that Kessler was involved in an altercation with another person that resulted in him falling backward and hitting his head on the ground. The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles is claiming that Kessler was “struck in the head by a megaphone wielded by a pro-Palestinian protestor.”
"Kessler was rushed to the hospital, where he ultimately died of injuries that were ruled to come from a blunt force head injury.
“The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and has not ruled out the possibility of a hate crime,” the VCSO said in a statement." . . .
