"Senator Chris Van Hollen, D-MS 13, went to El Salvador to visit a deported violent criminal rather than meet with the mother of a Maryland woman slain by an illegal alien.
"The president of El Salvador posted a picture of the Salvadoran and Van Hollen, who unlike the Salvadoran criminal is an actual Maryland man.
"Democrats have made Kilmar Abrego Garcia this year’s George Floyd. They insist he is not a member of MS 13 despite all evidence to the contrary.
"President Nayib Bukele upended all that by making Van Hollen a laughingstock by showing Saint Kilmar and the senator talking in a restaurant amid margaritas.
"Bukele knows arguing facts with the media is useless. Ridicule is the only thing they respond to.

. . ."But Van Hollen persists, shifting his argument from 'loving father' and 'good union man' to only caring about due process. This is ridiculous. Abrego Garcia had his day in court and was ordered back to his native country. But Van Hollen wants the foreign national with a skeevy background back here, and he's willing to twist in the wind to shift his argument to anything he thinks he can use to bring him back.
"He's trying to save face. He's now a figure of fun. House leaders have rejected other Democrats' request to have Congress pay for their junkets, too, so he's thrashing, trying to do anything he can to avoid being a laughingstock. It's a little late for that, doofus."

"It was an officially cleared Congressional trip," Van Hollen claimed.
"He was pressed again by Shannon Bream, "So taxpayer dollars?"
"Yes, like every other trip," he finally replied.
"Seriously? Who authorized this? Because Van Hollen -- and not the American people -- should be paying for his own performance theater."
