In fact, one of the reasons I completed my conversion to the dark side (conservatism) all those years ago and never looked back was the realization that there was nothing "loving and compassionate," for example, about advocating for the "right" to terminate innocent, unborn life at any stage of pregnancy.
We are at that moment yet again, with emerging Democrat "leader" Jasmine Crockett being the latest example.
The woke Texas Congresswoman recently sat down for a chat on MSDNC where, among other things, she discussed her desire to "lead" the House Oversight Committee in the event Democrats retake control of the House.
While that was hilarious in and of itself, even more comical was what she proclaimed about Democrats allegedly being the political party that loves and cares for people:
But my issue is this: All of y’all voted for this so that it would hurt somebody else. The problem was you got upset when you found out that, ‘Oh, shoot, it can hurt me too?’ And honestly, it is like it’s ingrained in who Democrats are is that we actually care and we love and we want to take care of everybody, and that’s why we got this big tent party and we all over the place. . . .
