"If only Karen Bass fought against the Los Angeles fires like she fights for illegal aliens." Rep. Darrell Issa.
"Juliette Kayyem, who Brian Stelter praised as the "best in the business" after her absurd commentary, would go on to cry that Trump's deployment of the National Guard was "unprecedented" because it lacked the support of the state's governor, which Newsom refused to offer despite his refusal to use state law enforcement to restore peace. That's such an easily debunkable lie, given that such deployments have happened without a governor's consent several times during American history, including during the Civil Rights era.
"Of course, you'll be less than shocked to learn that Kayyem was not so understanding when it came to actual peaceful protesters in Canada opposing COVID mandates. In that case, she demanded their tires be slashed and everyone be arrested. Setting cars on fire and trying to kill ICE agents, though? That's just a "lawful" protest in her book." . . .
They Called for Insurrection, They Got It, and Now They're Playing Innocent. CA Officials Are Repugnant. "We’ve seen the playbook so many times: Democrats accuse conservatives of fomenting violence, white supremacist action, and “insurrection.” While actual examples of the “right-wing” brutality that they endlessly scream about are few and far between, they stay quite busy in the meantime promoting their own domestic terrorism in the form of the devastating urban destruction during the George Floyd-BLM riots of 2020, the antisemitic demonstrations on college campuses that started in 2023, and now in recent days, the active and hostile resistance against law enforcement officers from our own country."
For Democratic Party operatives, you own this. There’s no way to spin it. These are the people you’re fighting to keep here. . . ."Let me get this straight, Bass comes out and says, “We will not stand for this.” Then almost every single elected official in Los Angeles jumps on social media and says variations of the same thing. Then Bass says, “we are fighting for you.”
"Then we have law enforcement attacked and assaulted, rocks and bricks thrown at them, fires set to cars, OUR FLAG, and other areas of our community, rocks thrown at moving vehicles, people taking over streets and neighborhoods and blocking all traffic, vandalism and destruction around the entire city and county, and the National Guard called in." . . .
