Adam Schiff Can’t Stop Undermining Democracy

The Gateway Pundit | by Gregory Lyakhov

"Schiff’s scandal is part of a broader Democratic pattern: corruption disguised as “public service.” Hillary Clinton’s email server, Hunter Biden’s shady foreign business deals, Letitia James’ mortgage fraud allegations, and now Adam Schiff’s falsified records all point to a party that treats laws as obstacles for ordinary citizens, not for themselves."

"For years, Senator Adam Schiff built his career accusing Republicans of corruption while pretending to be a defender of democracy.
"Now he stands accused of mortgage fraud in a scandal that underscores not only his hypocrisy but the broader corruption embedded in the Democratic Party
"The Gateway Pundit first broke this story, reporting that Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) Director William Pulte referred Schiff for criminal investigation earlier this year.
"In May, Pulte sent the referral to Attorney General Pam Bondi alleging that Schiff falsified bank documents and property records “in multiple instances” to secure more favorable loan terms between 2003 and 2019.
"The property in question is a multimillion-dollar mansion in Potomac, Maryland.
"According to the referral, Schiff falsely claimed the Maryland home as his “primary residence” on loan applications while simultaneously listing his Burbank, California, condo as his “primary residence” on tax filings in order to collect California’s lucrative homeowner exemption.
"In plain terms, Schiff told two different stories—one to the banks and another to the government—all for personal financial gain.
"For ordinary Americans, such conduct would mean fraud charges. But Schiff, who now postures as a senior statesman in the Senate, wants voters to believe this was just a misunderstanding.
"What makes Schiff’s case particularly galling is his track record of lecturing Republicans on financial ethics.
"Schiff has attacked GOP lawmakers over alleged “insider trading” while Democrats, from Nancy Pelosi to Richard Blumenthal, rank among the worst offenders when it comes to stock trading scandals.
"Schiff postured as a watchdog while his own party traded stocks based on insider knowledge and he himself allegedly falsified mortgage records to pad his finances.
"Schiff has long pushed measures that reveal his contempt for the very institutions he claims to defend. " . . .More...
