The 'Stolen Land' Argument Has Reared Up Again, and It Still Makes No Sense –

Remember in those high school student elections how we looked around to see who the cool kids were voting for and voted the same. We dared not go against the grain. How can we not see these "Hollywood elites" as making a career choice at the expense of our nation? TD

"Every piece of land, everywhere, has been occupied, lived on, hunted, fished, and worked by someone who came along before the someone who is there now. The piece of land I sit on as I write this formerly belonged to another family who built the house and outbuildings and raised a family here. Before that, it was part of a homestead by a family whose name still appears on plat maps of the borough. Before that, there's scarce evidence that any Natives occupied this land for any length of time, but absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence, so it's possible." . . .

Watch: CNN's Scott Jennings hits singer Billie Eilish with reality check following her comments about ICE and 'stolen land'  .

. . . "Jennings noted a few issues with this, however.

"What does she mean by stolen land? Radical communists like Billie, who profits handsomely from American capitalism, believe America is stolen from Native Americans. Which means we have no right to enforce laws today, chiefly immigration laws," Jennings said.

"By the way, Billie Eilish lives in a $14 million mansion in Los Angeles on property that was once inhabited by the Tongva tribe," he added.

"So far as we can tell, she hasn't taken any steps to return her mansion and surrounding properties to its rightful owners, but we'll keep you posted."

Native American tribe has message for Billie Eilish after Grammy's speech

. . . "The Native American tribe that owns the land under Billie Eilish’s multimillion-dollar Los Angeles mansion said celebrities should “explicitly” reference the tribes if they want to use them to virtue-signal." . . . "But, then again, these leftists think all of America is on stolen land. And yet these snobby freaks remain in America."   Not one word about Iran. Zero.

Billie Eilish under fire to fork over mansion

“The woman is a blithering idiot. Of course, if she really means it, then she’ll happily hand over her multi-million pound Malibu beachfront home to illegal migrants,” wrote British journalist Julia Hartley-Brewer on X. “Which she won’t, because it’s all just silly celeb posturing.”

"Lefty pop star Billie Eilish is facing calls to hand over her ritzy Los Angeles digs to a Native American tribe or illegal immigrant after she declared “No one is illegal on stolen land” at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards ceremony.

"The “Wildflower” singer, 24, is being accused of virtue signaling for the anti-ICE remarks she made while accepting the award for Song of the Year on Sunday night.

" 'What about if we all showed up to her mansion and said we are going to live there now? It’s stolen land right? She doesn’t own it,” wrote one X user in response to Eilish’s comments.

" 'Meanwhile, she’s chilling in her … Hollywood Hills fortress with armed guards and a moat of privilege. If the land’s so stolen, sis, hand over the keys to the nearest tribe or migrant family,” wrote political commentator and YouTuber Brandon Tatum." . . . More photos at the link.

Man launches GoFundMe to move into Billie Eilish’s home after her ‘stolen land’ Grammys remarks

"A GoFundMe campaign has been launched by an Australian man who says he plans to move into Billie Eilish’s Malibu home, citing the singer’s recent comments at the Grammy Awards that “no one is illegal on stolen land.”. . .

"The fundraiser was created after Eilish criticized US immigration enforcement and spoke out against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) during the awards ceremony." . . .
