Let’s Remember the Democrats’ Lies |

 The American Spectator

"I know Trump never misses an opportunity to point out that Joe Biden spent his days sleeping through official events and had no idea what he was signing or saying. And that’s fine. But I do miss hearing him remind people that Democrats lied about the end of democracy. As far as I know, there is still a separation of powers, there are still elections, and citizens still vote freely. And, for the moment, it doesn’t seem that Trump is throwing opposition leaders into gas chambers.
"There’s something funny about the way the Democratic Party has evolved. It has become a party empty of ideas and stuffed with slogans. Sometimes those slogans are highly effective during election campaigns, but after the election, if they lose, they dissolve like rain into the sea because they have no ideological identity whatsoever beyond the woke catchphrases they repeat like monkeys, along with four or five ideas that seem randomly generated by a monkey at a keyboard with ChatGPT’s help. You know the script: Trump is a dictator, Republicans are fascists, and give peace a chance.
"In the end, it all amounted to nothing, which is why it’s so easy for people to forget. But not for me. They lied to everyone when they claimed Trump would destroy the most important democracy in the Western world. They lied, and so did their European social democratic allies, who repeated that nonsense in every forum while trying — unsuccessfully — to influence the vote." . . .More...

. . . "They are not merely bad ideas, they constitute a clear and present danger to the republic. Indeed, they suggest that the Democratic Party can’t be trusted with real power until it is divested of the radical leftists who now control its agenda. All of the braying about “our democracy” notwithstanding, it could hardly be more obvious that the Democrats want to eliminate the constitutional foundations of the Republic so they can establish one-party rule. This is why Harris speculates about what we “need to do” about the Electoral College. She and her fellow travelers believe that it impedes genuine democracy, but obviously don’t grasp the consequences of dumping it." . . .More...
