Elder abuse, anyone? Jill Biden and other presidential couples exit stage at Obama extravaganza, leaving Joe behind

 Monica Showalter - American Thinker

Which raises questions: Is Joe being properly cared for and attended by his wife, or by full-time staff which he could easily afford? Or is he being allowed to wander around dazed and confused, wondering if he was president, taking off his pants, and otherwise not all there

So the Obama Presidential Center, a brutalist monolith towering over Chicago like a giant trash can, opened its lid.

All the usual characters were there, celebrating Obama -- Bono, Oprah, Springsteen, Tom Hanks, Stephen Colbert, John Legend, the exact tired celebs you might expect too see there, along with previous presidential couples -- George and Laura Bush of course; the Clintoons, Hillary dressed like a bag lady; Joe and Jill Biden, and most surprisingly; Michelle Obama, who usually skips such events. And Barack, who gave us the benefit of his 'wisdom':  "

. . . "This analysis of the entire project is spot on.

"But the sad part was in the conclusion of the game-show-style presidential couples lineup:

They all filed off, festively, leaving Joe behind, alone.

"Then Joe moved up to the podium, as though he thought he were still president, called for his granddaughter, adjusted his 'Joe Cool' aviator sunglasses worn indoors, taking them off ... and revealed his confusion." . . .

. . . "They didn't know this could happen if they walked off and left him alone up there? After all these years and all these embarrassing events during his presidency, they didn't think Joe would be worse for wear after a couple of additional years?

"Jill Biden, who's supposedly his caretaker and who would supposedly know Joe better than anyone, never anticipated this sort of embarrassing thing happening? Why did she walk off without him, leaving him behind to wander and muddle around, his insentience obvious to all who saw the video. Worse still, why didn't anyone else step in for her -- Obama, the Bushes, Hillary -- and get him off the stage if Jill wouldn't. This would likely happen, by the way, if ordinary people were dealing with this issue." . . .More...
