"Hunter Biden admitted in a new interview that his lucrative board appointment at Burisma as well as other roles helped him to fuel his crack cocaine addition. Biden sat on the board of the Ukrainian energy giant Burisma earning $80,000 per month for his services.

"Biden appeared on the "Dopey" podcast, where he talked about how he embarked on a two-month bender but "never went broke" while he was staying at the Chateau Marmont in Hollywood. He said that he tried to "go out with a bang."

"Speaking to host Dave Manheim, who asked him how could afford the long stay at the ritzy hotel in California, Biden replied, "Well, I still had the residual. Like for instance, I still was on the board of Burisma."

"The younger Biden was appointed to the board of the Ukrainian energy company in 2014 while his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, was dealing with Ukraine policy in the Obama administration."
