James Talarico -- 'Gone Boy'

 John M. Williams, Sr., M.D.

"Was it nine days or 12 that James Talarico was MIA with the “flu” -- or was it something else? There was speculation about a hospitalization in a mental health facility in Ohio, then a denial by the facility, which was quickly followed with proxy alibis from the legacy press, replete with talk of satellite imagery and surveillance photos. But what about a doctor’s note -- like the one we all have to bring to our employer when we get sick? Talarico didn’t have one -- instead he claimed he went to urgent care or to his primary care doctor, but he couldn’t seem to get that story straight either.

"Most of us remember the early days of COVID-19. It was just six years ago this month that President Donald Trump came down with a nasty case of it. There wasn’t much in the way of treatment at the time, but after an infusion of monoclonal antibodies and some IV fluids, he soldiered on, waving from his limo as he was whisked away from Walter Reed Medical Center. The public was kept informed about his progress with live updates from the man himself, and he never abandoned his responsibilities. This was the complete opposite of the Lloyd Austin fiasco, where the sitting Secretary of Defense “forgot” to call in sick to President Biden for several days, despite being hospitalized in an ICU for a life-threatening infection. All was forgiven when he came back, and the Biden administration acted as if nothing happened. Is this the Democrat “cone of silence” model that Talarico was following, expecting the same result?

"With less than three weeks to election day, this is crunch time as Talarico and Ken Paxton are neck and neck in the polls. Every second counts, and for a candidate to go incommunicado is almost unheard of -- unless there is something so bad and potentially destructive to their campaign that they can’t go public with it. If it truly was the “flu,” why didn’t Talarico do some public Zoom calls and assume temporary martyr status? Picture this -- a guy that’s so sick his entire appointment book gets canceled, yet here he is dragging himself to his laptop, struggling to put on some headphones -- while garnering sympathy (and votes) as we marvel at his gaunt appearance and pasty skin. His raspy voice assures us that he will continue campaigning, even if he has to be wheeled in to vote with an IV tube in each arm--this is the stuff that Hollywood is made of. Instead, we are met with a script more reminiscent of “Gone Girl,” where the protagonist goes missing with an elaborate plan to elicit sympathy from the press as the other characters try to seize the media narrative in their own ways." . . . More.

Where is the video, James?   "James Talarico has more videos than anyone.  You can spend an entire afternoon watching everything that this man has recorded over the years.  He has a video explaining how the angel told Mary about the baby.

"What we don't have is a video of Talarico standing up to the Biden administration and rejecting their border policy. We have a campaign video saying that, but no video to support what he is claiming.". . .   Glad to see that the Border Patrol Union is not buying it:

" . . .We CANNOT afford another disaster on our borders!"

All the struggles ICE has had to endure for these months will count for nothing when this man governs anywhere near America's borders.
