The country's in the very best of hands

Obama Tried to Warn Us: ‘Don’t Underestimate Joe’s Ability to F— Things Up’

https://www.terrellaftermath.com/

On gas prices, Biden is in Fantasyland   ". . .A very, very, very "little bit of relief," incidentally.  When it was first discussed a few months ago, a study at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania estimated that "[a] federal gas holiday from March to December would lower average per capita gasoline spending by $47."

"Ok, $47 is $47, even in these Bidenflationary times, but this minuscule temporary so-called reduction screams publicity stunt rather than real solution.". . .

How to handle inflation and recession: Bush vs. Biden

...Sadly, we have a lap dog media that mostly repeats Democrat talking points instead of doing their job.

Not once have they asked Biden, Kerry, or anyone else for scientific data that proves oil consumption caused temperature changes, storms, or sea levels to rise. The media just repeats what they are told as they are complicit in the destruction of our economy and way of life....

WH Press Secretary Scrambles When Peter Doocy Pushes Back On ‘Painful’ Clean Energy Transition   . . .“Right now they can’t afford an electric car, the average price is $61,000,” Doocy pushed back.

“Well, we’re going to continue to move forward with what we have put for the bipartisan infrastructure —” Jean-Pierre tried again.

“Five dollar a gallon gas or a $61,000 electric car —” Doocy interrupted.

“That’s not — first of all — that’s apples and oranges, it’s not the same,” Jean-Pierre objected. ". . .

Yes, Biden Is Hiding His Plan To Rig The 2022 Midterm Elections

But I don't see this on Biden's list.

 Mollie Hemingway; The Federalist

The White House is refusing to share details about its coordinated efforts to engage in a federal takeover of election administration.

"President Biden really does not want the public to know about his federal takeover of election administration. Dozens of members of Congress have repeatedly asked for details, to no avail. Good government groups, members of the media, and private citizens have filed requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Not a single one has been responded to. All signs indicate a concerted effort to keep the public in the dark until at least after the November midterm elections. The lack of transparency and responsiveness is so bad that the Department of Justice and some of its agencies have been repeatedly sued for the information.

"When President Biden ordered all 600 federal agencies to “expand citizens’ opportunities to register to vote and to obtain information about, and participate in, the electoral process” on March 7, 2021, Republican politicians, Constitutional scholars, and election integrity specialists began to worry exactly what was up his sleeve.

"They had good reason. The 2020 election had suffered from widespread and coordinated efforts by Democrat activists and donors to run “Get Out The Vote” operations from inside state and local government election offices, predominantly in the Democrat-leaning areas of swing states. Independent researchers have shown the effect of this takeover of government election offices was extremely partisan and favored Democrats overwhelmingly.

"At the time the order was issued, Democrats were also hoping to pass H.R. 1, a continuation of the effort to destabilize elections throughout the country via a federalized takeover of state election administrations.". . .

The Final Straw: What Is America’s Tipping Point and What are You Prepared to Do When it comes?

 BlackNight

"Have you ever wondered what makes a person snap? What causes a normal, quiet, everyday citizen, loving mother, or doting father to lose it all and fight like a caged animal? What can cause a small village to rise up and rebel against an oppressive police force and start killing them? What is the switch that gets flipped that causes a city to pour two million people into the streets, chanting and demanding to be heard by their government?

"Lately it feels more and more as though we are on standing on the edge of some yawning precipice peering over the crest into darkness. What is more troubling to me is that we have been down this path before. The sense of unease is almost palpable to me sometimes; it is more evident if you are paying attention. If you are able to eliminate the white noise of the world for a minute; hit the pause button on the playlist of daily life for a while and look around, listen, you may start to recognize that you too are caught up in events that will soon change all our lives.

"For several years I have felt an unsettling sense that we need to be prepared, that life is going to throw us a big, fat, greasy curve ball soon and we better not be caught napping. To try and proactively address that warning voice I started planning and taking steps to prepare my family to be able to weather events in the future.". . .

KKK Disbands As Progressive Left Accomplishing All Their Goals

 Babylon Bee

"HARRISON, AR—It was a somber day for white-hooded members of the Ku Klux Klan as they received news that their organization was disbanding, since the progressive Left was accomplishing all of their goals with unparalleled effectiveness.

“Welp, I guess it’s both good news and bad news,” said current CEO of the KKK, Bob U. Genics while overseeing Klan members turning in their robes and pointed hats. “Them Lefties cornered the racism market for sure, and look at how they undermined minority communities through low school standards, drug legalization, and rampant decriminalization. Impressive.”

The head of the now-dissolved KKK reassured the gloomy crowd, reminding them that it was an honor to pass the baton of hate and division to people with their tentacles deeply woven into American politics, education, business, and entertainment.

“Racism is in good hands,” he said, misty-eyed.

Following the disbandment meeting, the former members excitedly showed their support for the new face of racism and hate by donating to Ilhan Omar's campaign..

Biden: This is beyond embarrassing. Why is he still in office? (Photos)

General Dispatch

"Next time someone tries to tell you Joe Biden isn’t a geriatric nursing home patient trapped in the White House, show them this. He needs a notecard with step by step directions telling him what to do, including “YOU take YOUR seat”. This is beyond embarrassing.  TWO photos below, closeup is second – Benny Johnson"

American journalism is just about done

MORE Bad News for CNN 😂 Leftist news station now near death…

  Mark C. Ross

There have been rumblings of civil war, considering the political polarization within our current place in time.  The polarization, however, has been here for quite a while, but the left seems to have gotten a lot more strident in its militancy.  I am inclined to think desperation may be the true reason.  Leftists have been accustomed to controlling the narrative, which they no longer do.  Rather than hit the books and do more research, they just shout louder and with greater histrionics.

Olbermann: States should ignore today's ruling and the U.S. should dissolve the Supreme Court   "My guess is that he had pre-written this tweet to use when the Dobbs decision came down and accidentally hit “publish” in a fit of excitement when the Bruen case dropped instead.

"If I’m wrong and this really is his reaction to Bruen, I can’t imagine what he has planned for Dobbs. A livestream of him crying, maybe.

"Go ahead and treat this post as a palate cleanser rather than news. After all, at this stage of Olby’s career, this is basically just a random dude on Twitter freaking out to everyone’s amusement.". . .

Tucker Carlson savages Republican politicians' disrespect for Americans

Andrea Widberg: Tucker Carlson savages Republican politicians' disrespect for Americans  . . ."Tucker opened his monologue by pointing out that the American people have come to despise Biden and his policies.  Despite the media's covering for Biden, people have noticed raging inflation, a recession, lawlessness, broken borders, a tenderness for Ukraine denied to America, cultivated race-hatred, efforts to disarm law-abiding citizens, and the arrogance of the LGBTQ+++ crowd — and they don't like any of it.  It turns out that mean tweets aren't so bad when compared to a government that's hostile to its own citizens.

"The Democrats' intentional mismanagement is so extreme that the party is losing Hispanics and blacks in droves.  In theory, this should be a golden age for Republicans.  It's not, though, and that's the fault of the Republican political class, few of whom seem to embrace conservatism or Americans.  Rather, as Tucker exposes in his hard-hitting monologue, their principles are aligned with Biden and his Democrat politicians and media flaks, and they share the Democrat political class's disdain for Americans.". . .

. . ."Pay special attention to the last minute or so of Tucker's speech.  It's a warning I sincerely hope Republican politicians, from Mitch McConnell on down, heed, lest America become ungovernable and the whole American experiment devolves into a welter of violence, blood, and famine.

"As for the video, for reasons that elude me, as of this writing, Fox has chosen not to upload the video of Tucker's stunning monologue.  However, it has posted the transcript.  Also, although it may soon be pulled, here's an unofficial recording of Tucker's show, including the monologue:". . . (See below)

Tucker Carlson: Republican leaders are siding with Joe Biden   "Joe Biden is the weakest, most unpopular leader of our lifetime. He's also the most destructive. Now, that's not a partisan assessment. That's not the opinion of a right-wing talk show. That is the view of the overwhelming majority of American voters.

"Biden's malicious ineptitude is so overwhelming that it is single-handedly changing American politics and everywhere there are signs of it, signs of a massive generational realignment taking shape, taking shape in response to the disasters this administration has created. The old coalitions are crumbling before our eyes. Suddenly we're seeing Hispanic voters, African and Middle Eastern immigrants, as well as huge numbers of American-born young men, all running at remarkable speed from Joe Biden and the anti-human corporate neoliberalism he represents.

"Nowhere is this trend more obvious than in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. That's a place which for generations has been a Democratic Party stronghold. As recently as 2018, a Democrat called Henry Cuellar won his district in south Texas with fully 84% of the vote. His district is 80% Hispanic and for decades that meant it went Democrat. But then last cycle, that began to change. Two years ago, Cuellar's percentage of the vote plummeted by 26 points in one cycle. The same thing happened to Congressman Filemon Vela and Vicente Gonzalez. They also represent districts on the border with Mexico in Texas.

"Both went from huge wins in 2018 to marginal victories in 2020. Hispanic voters are no longer automatically Democrats. In fact, they are openly hostile to the Democratic Party. Joe Biden's support among Hispanics has dropped to a stunning 24%. That's the lowest among any ethnic group in America. ". . .

A Cretinous Beltway Reproduction of a Stalinist Show Trial

 American Greatness  http://ibloga.blogspot.com/2022/06/a-cretinous-beltway-reproduction-of.html

"As the initial hearing showed, Pelosi cannily chose her GOP pair. They provided the “bipartisan” façade Pelosi desired, mugging for the cameras and delivering their lines in this taxpayer-funded Democratic infomercial.
Yet, what of Russiagate’s abuse of power that, unlike the singular and ceased event of January 6, 2020, continues to this day—including the wholly biased January 6 committee itself? What of Special Counsel Durham’s investigation’s revelations into the insidious leftist cabal continuing to coercively impose political justice upon the equal and sovereign citizens of our free republic?
Once again, the New York Post is spot on:
“Until the plotters are held accountable, there actually is good reason to worry about the future of democracy in America.”
This, then, is the clear and present danger to everyone’s democracy. Like Ahab chasing his white whale, their purblind animus toward Trump has led them to pledge and risk everything to destroy him.
Like every vendetta, this constitutes an oath to an individual. In the process, they have abnegated their oath to defend the United States Constitution against those who weaponize the federal government against their opponents.
In fact, they have rendered it worse than meaningless. They have rendered it rank hypocrisy by becoming part and parcel of that continuing weaponization of the federal government, in this instance against their sworn 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑒 𝑛𝑜𝑖𝑟𝑒, Trump and his supporters.
Representatives Cheney and Kinzinger, my fellow Republicans: did you ever stop to ponder whether your useful idiocy on this committee makes you accomplices after the fact in covering up the Democrats’ attempted coup against President Trump; and of their continuing corrupt and potentially criminal use of the police and surveillance powers of the federal government against their political opponents and all dissenters to their radical diktats?
Or how, when comes the day Donald Trump is gone, 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 dishonor will remain?"

Without Massive Reform, a Trump Victory Will Be In Vain

Christopher Roach   "Trump’s enemies wrap themselves in the flag and claim to be the defenders of democracy, but even now, they are planning to undo his electoral victory if he succeeds."
"Trump needs to be singlemindedly focused on these reforms. Anything less will simply be undone when he leaves office, just as Biden rapidly unwound Trump’s successes on the border."

"It looks like Donald Trump is going to win. I always thought he would in a fair fight. But winning the election could prove to be a Pyrrhic victory if Trump does not take very specific steps to wrest control of the federal government from hostile elements in the permanent bureaucracy.

"Setting aside who really won in 2020, no one disputes that Trump did win in 2016, but after that victory, he was still not allowed to govern. Instead, he was harried by the coordinated activities of entrenched interests. His naivete about the many backstabbers in the executive branch and within his own party further enhanced their ability to disrupt his first term.

"Outright lies from the intelligence community gave birth to the “Russian Collusion” accusation, which permitted the Obama administration to spy directly on Trump’s campaign through secret warrants on key campaign personnel. This lie also gave birth to a distracting and invasive special counsel investigation, which concluded early on that no such collusion took place but dragged on for two years out of spite.

"The fifth column extended beyond the intelligence community to ordinary bureaucratshigh-level military officers, and his own cabinet. Though duty-bound to follow his directives, these executive branch officials took it upon themselves to act as “checks and balances” on the president. They collectively forgot that the executive branch finds its sole source of authority in the elected president, from whom lower officials receive whatever authority they hold by delegation.

"By the end, the people who were supposed to follow his orders were openly conspiring against him. They vaingloriously called themselves the #resistance, but they had more in common with the late Soviet Union’s KGB than anything else. That is, rather than being champions of democracy, these members of the anti-Trump resistance were simply defenders of the status quo and their various perks and privileges within it." . . .

On Only Sunday Show to Cover Murder Plot Against Kavanaugh, Sen. Coons Fails Hard on 'Fox News Sunday'

Townhall   "ABC News' "This Week," CBS News' "Face the Nation," NBC News' "Meet the Press," and CNN's "State of the Union" combined covered the January 6 select committee hearings for over an hour and a half, yet stunningly didn't spend any time on how someone told police and a 911 operator that he wanted to murder a sitting U.S. Supreme Court justice.

It turns out it's possible to cover both of those topics, as "Fox News Sunday" did. Guest anchor Bret Baier also spoke with Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) about legislation that would better protect the justices. Coons had co-sponsored such legislation with Sen. John Cornyn (R-TX) that passed by unanimous consent, but it's been held up in the House by Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) who could not seem more disinterested if she tried to be, judging from her own refusal to take up the bill for a vote and her remarks during last Thursday's press conference.

"As Madeline covered on Friday, Pelosi expects the House to vote on the bill this week. The speaker tried to claim that it was an issue with getting the language from the Senate, and left it for House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) to deal with.

"It's crucial to remind, though, that Democrats in the House also want to protect the leaker who released the draft opinion to the public showing that the Court is looking to overturn Roe  in the Dobbs v. Jackson decision. Since the leak, there has been an uptick in vandalism and even violence against pro-life organizations, all while the White House and Democrats largely remain silent.". . .

Summit of the Americas: Joe Biden turns America into a beggar

Monica Showalter  . . ."More to the point, why the hell didn't he allow the socialist dictatorships in? He would have had a golden opportunity upbraid places like Cuba for their failures, failures that have driving millions of their citizens to flee as migrants. If this were President Trump, he'd bring the leaders of these places in and then deliver a knockout blow about their socialist records, putting these hellholes on the spot, and forcing them to admit their failures, if not come up with a laughable panoply of excuses.

"Instead, Biden just ended up begging.

"According to a very good account in Politico, Biden only got Brazil to come by agreeing to not to criticize its rainforest policy -- which Joe obeyed. He must have wanted them there bad. Bolsonaro not only questioned Biden's electoral legitimacy, he also mocked his age. Biden, though, just begged, and had to throw in the sweetner of a bilateral summit, too. He begged a lot.. . .
