Rapinoe is a poisonous woman who spends a significant amount of time complaining about the country that she represents on the national team. She’s an egomaniacal ingrate and, sadly, her antics rubbed off on some of her teammates. We’ve seen this show before – the USWNST wins a spot in World Cup competition and then the team embarrasses at least half of America for their behavior while overseas. It’s obnoxious enough for the far-left progressive members of the team to make political points at home, it’s worse when they do it overseas. They are too young and naive to understand the meaning of leaving politics at the water’s edge. Progressives don’t care about that kind of thing. Democrats from Joe Biden on down the line go overseas and freely criticize their opponents in a lame attempt to puff themselves up.
The reason we leave politics at the water’s edge – or used to do that – is because it is a sign of national strength to show a united front. Leftists don’t care about that anymore. This attitude seeps into other areas, including sports competitions. We’ve seen athletes make statements by kneeling during the national anthem. Some refuse to leave the locker room until the national anthem is finished playing.

• Barack Obama told President Biden at their lunch Thursday that Donald Trump was going to be a formidable challenge to Democrats in 2024. Later that day, Biden put in an urgent call to the leader of Australia. To get enough jurors for all the court cases against Trump, we'll have to import kangaroos.
• Donald Trump stood before a federal magistrate in New York Thursday and pleaded not guilty to all four charges relating to his reaction refuting the posted results of the 2020 election. Apparently it's now a federal crime to say out loud in public that you've been cheated. It left Hillary Clinton speechless.
• ABC News deceptively edited Trump's speech on January 6th urging protestors to demonstrate peacefully and patriotically to make it look like he was inciting a riot. It could have been worse. ABC is owned by Disney which has plenty of voice-over actors available to dub Trump's speech into German.
• Barack Obama dropped by Joe Biden's beach house for lunch Thursday and said he'll do all he can on the campaign trail and in media to re-elect Joe in 2024. The president couldn't contain his glee. After the lunch Biden ran out to the beach and told Jill he was just endorsed by Denzel Washington.
• President Biden hailed good economic news Friday as proof that Bidenomics is working. Biden promised even more action when six hundred billion dollars of his Infrastructure Bill money kicks in. Politicians are people who, when they see the light at the end of the tunnel, go out and buy more tunnel.
• Hunter Biden's partner Devon Archer's transcribed revelations were released on Thursday, confirming Joe Biden met in person at a dinner with Hunter and his overseas business investors in 2015. Democrats called his affidavit Russian disinformation. That was in honor of Throwback Thursday.
• Donald Trump ripped the urban squalor he saw in Washington, D.C., Thursday and he mentioned it in post-arraignment remarks, noting that Mexico just warned its citizens that D.C. is too dangerous to visit due to drug gang violence. That's what we always say about them. We are now Mexico's Mexicans.
• The FBI reports a spike in L.A. home burglaries is leaving suburban residents reluctant to leave their homes for fear of being ransacked. One summer in college, I sold home security alarms door-to-door, and I became very good at it. If no one was home, I'd just leave a brochure on the kitchen table.
• The White House was presented with demands from the Oakland NAACP to do something and clamp down on the nationwide violence epidemic. The FBI just announced a crackdown on capital crimes. Next week the Justice Department plans to indict Donald Trump for the murder of Elvis Presley.
• Donald Trump was arraigned in Washington Thursday on charges of doubting the 2020 election results. MSNBC pundits called it the biggest threat to our democracy since 9-11, Watergate and the Civil War. Pearl Harbor and O.J. were added when the mail-in threats to our democracy were counted.
• Donald Trump's judge on his January 6th case is a female Obama-appointed judge who used to work in Hunter Biden's law firm. I guess Hillary was unavailable. If he's jailed for contempt they have Jeffrey Epstein's prison guards on speed dial so he maybe should stop wearing those long neckties.
• President Biden risks impeachment inquiry after Hunter's business partners refuted Joe's claim he knew nothing of Hunter's business deals. Joe just can't win. For 50 years, everyone in D.C. has said Joe Biden doesn't know anything and when he finally says he didn't know anything nobody believes him.
• Hunter Biden's partner Devon Archer gave a transcribed interview to a House Republican and Democrat about Hunter, Joe and foreign business deals. The Democrat reported that Archer said that Joe only discussed the weather with Hunter's clients. They all raved about how Hunter can make it rain.
• The White House refused comment Wednesday on e-mails which showed that the administration pressured Facebook to squelch any FB posts that doubted the Covid vaccine's safety and effectiveness. People in L.A. are still taking precautions. Just today I saw a guy vaccinate himself behind the bus station.
• Just Stop Oil protestors delayed traffic in Europe by super-gluing themselves to freeways and airport runways Friday. The public is furious at them. Police in England asked a man who witnessed five men attacking a climate protestor why he didn't help, and the man said he thought five was enough.
• The Denver Post reported a new church in Denver has opened called the International Church of Cannabis where the congregation smokes marijuana in their worship ritual. The congregation's favorite hymn is Amazing Grass. Toward the end of each service holy communion is served by Taco Bell.
• HBO's Bill Maher criticized big cities that are overwhelming local services by taking in so many illegal immigrants under their titles of being a Sanctuary City. The illegals are reportedly drug dealing, carjacking, robbing and hooking on street corners. The good news is, they've yet to break any local laws.

Their latest martyr is a lunatic named Jordan Neely, who was killed while threatening commuters in Manhattan on Monday morning. The man, portrayed by sympathetic media as a “Michael Jackson impersonator,” was throwing garbage at people and making vaguely threatening statements about his willingness to go to prison for life. A reasonable person would feel afraid in this situation, as passengers doubtless did. A heroic vigilante intervened and put Neely in a chokehold. Two other men helped restrain Neely, who later died.
"Seldom is the line between civilization and savagery drawn so clearly as it was in Jordan Neely’s subway car. The Left has demonized the vigilante for his “barbaric” supposed “lynching,” but this gets it precisely backward. Barbarism on the subway is a daily occurrence; it is part of the atmosphere. Barbarism is forcing commuters to fear for their lives and property on a Monday morning. It’s what you call it when vagrants shove people to their deaths in front of moving trains, and all the state can do is shrug." . . .

The American Spectator | USA News and Politics "It’s no longer 1937.” This seems to be Rachel Zegler’s catchphrase when speaking about her role as Snow White in the upcoming live-action remake of Disney’s first animated feature film. She says it with contempt. With raised eyebrows and an eye roll.
"The original film is “extremely dated,” Zegler adds, in a recently resurfaced video from the 2022 D23 Expo. It leaves no room for “women being in roles of power” and is incredibly limited in its depiction of “what a woman is fit for in the world.” In other words, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs is trash — horribly outdated and unforgivably anti-feminist. Good thing film historian and fairy tale scholar Rachel Zegler is here to set us straight.
"Zegler, of course, is not a fairy tale scholar, nor is she a film historian — which is a relief. But she is an actress who has been hired to play a role, and, apparently, the entirety of her research into her character’s history can be boiled down to one insightful comment: “It’s no longer 1937.” Thank you for that, Ms. Zegler. "An early enclave of Storybook Style exists right here in the heart of Los Angeles. The neighborhood of Hollywoodland began in 1923 when two developers purchased 500 acres of land nestled at the foot of Mt. Lee, just above the town of Hollywood. This was way back when before any houses dotted the hillside and the land was simply covered with oak trees, holly bushes, greasewood, and poppies. Ferns grew under the trees and there were natural springs where visitors would get their water. The developers laid out winding streets with steep hillside building lots ranging in price from $2,500 to $55,000. Imagine buying a hillside lot in that price range today! Here the developers planned to build a gated community of homes for the “movie people” who were just coming to prominence.
"To advertise their housing development, the Hollywood sign was erected. We, of course, all know the sign today but back in 1923 there were four more letters: L-A-N-D. The 13 letters were illuminated at night by 4,000 incandescent bulbs meant to shine so brightly they could be seen by all of Los Angeles below to build interest in the real estate development.
"Whatever happened to the sign’s final four letters? Well, LA legend has it that the in the late 1940s a landslide took out the L-A-N-D letters. While a fun story, sorry to say, that is not the case. In fact, only one of the sign’s letters collapsed in the 1940s: the H. Because by this time the sign was not being used to advertise real estate, it had fallen into disrepair. In January 1949 the city’s Recreation and Parks Commission ordered the sign demolished. But after the city council overruled the apparently unsentimental park commissioners, the Hollywood Chamber of Commerce offered to restore the H if it could drop the L-A-N-D. Goldman said that yes, Hunter might have put his father on the phone with business partners, but that the words exchanged were just "niceties" and that "there wasn't a single conversation about any of the business dealings that Hunter had."
