Patricia McCarthy - American Thinker
To the millions of us who desperately wanted Jim Jordan to become Speaker, those twenty-five spoilers will forever be known to a large majority of Republicans as traitors, betrayers.
"The uniparty, that deep state bureaucracy that rules over us all, determined that the people should not have the Speaker of their choice.
"A clear majority of Republicans wanted Rep. Jim Jordan to replace Rep. Kevin McCarthy for good and obvious reasons. But twenty-five members of the House GOP revealed themselves to be petty, sniveling, chumps who decided that the people should not have a say.
"They don’t like Jordan because he was the founder of the Freedom Caucus and supports President Trump. They hate Rep. Matt Gaetz because he upset their apple cart, that safe, wealth-producing space they so comfortably occupy in D.C.
"But Gaetz has been listening to the people. He knew that we knew McCarthy was a classic RINO, an anti-Trump, pro-Pelosi operator who broke the promises he made to become Speaker. He got Pelosi’s misnamed “debt ceiling” bill passed with unlimited spending for two years. He agreed to another CR, or, continuing resolution on runaway spending. He did nothing about the promised impeachments of Merrick Garland, Alejandro Mayorkas, Christopher Wray and Joe Biden. He did nothing to even attempt a solution to the invasion over our southern border. Like far too many of the rest of the Republicans, he was always and only working for himself and his donors and lobbyists, Sequoia Financial among them.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within.” --Marcus Tullius Cicero
"Matt Gaetz did Republicans a favor; his motion to vacate McCarthy from the Speaker's chair has shown us all who the people in Congress actually represent, who they actually are. Now we know who those twenty-five "no" voters are; their allegiance is not to the American people. It’s to their defense industry donors and lobbyists. They’ve let us know how angry they are that the people have expressed their preference for Jordan. One member of the House called our phone calls and emails “abuse.” They do not think they should have to listen to us peons." . . .
Clarice Feldman- American Thinker "Islamist butchers, and their media and academic buddies, failed in their latest rerun of the war against Israel. In the days before online media, particularly Elon Musk’s X, the storyline was a familiar one. Israel would be attacked and the mainstream media would be flooded with accounts from local reporters and photographers and embedded compromised national reporters of civilian injuries and deaths during any response. The emotional response would follow: a call would come for Israel to pull back before taking effective charge of the enemy, and the United States would force its hand.
"Not this time. This time, we could see accounts from both sides, from the pictures and bios of the murdered, injured, and kidnapped civilians, who hailed from countries around the world. This time we could see the videos of the Israeli response. This time we could see the pictures of the bloodshed and hear the accounts of among others, the forensic scientists who examined the butchered bodies of the victims.
"This time we could hear the voices of, not only Jews, but Bedouins, Moslems, and Druze in Israel and Moslems in neighboring countries as anti-Hamas as you can find anywhere. This time we could see who was supporting this butchery in the West. This time, those who spread the blood libel are fully exposed.
"On X Steven Sinofsky explains the revolution in reporting." . . .
The Blood Libel that Israel had deliberately targeted a hospital in Gaza, resulting in 500 civilian deaths, was published by, to my knowledge, every major domestic press and television channel. Its source was AP, whose sole source was apparently Hamas. Huge anti-Israel and anti-Jewish demonstrations followed all around the globe. An ancient synagogue was demolished in Tunisa, another was attacked in Spanish Melilla, and Jews and their schools and houses of worship were under threat almost everywhere. . . .
Meanwhile here in America with Democrats:
. . ."I think a person who celebrates Hamas and worked for the PLO has no business being on the government payroll vetting Palestinian asylum applications. I think medical personnel praising the murders of Israeli civilians and wishing death on Jews should not be treating hospital patients; I think a professor who calls the barbaric slaughter of Israelis "exhilarating" does not belong on the school's roster, a school which I'm sure just days ago was enforcing rules that speech which offends anyone must be punished to maintain the institution as a safe space. I think the Squad, which encouraged and probably aided a riot in the Capitol, should be stripped from their party's caucus and all committee slots."
His demise reminds us that we live in a country governed by the rule of narrative
"I wonder what Derek Chauvin is thinking these days?
He’s the former Minneapolis cop who became the Scapegoat Number One after George Floyd—sorry, St. George Floyd—died from a Fentanyl overdose while resisting arrest in May 2020.
"As all the world knows, that is not how The Narrative tells it. Witness Wikipedia, that Great Repository of Approved Narratives. “George Perry Floyd Jr.,” it begins, “was an African-American man who was murdered by a police officer in Minneapolis, Minnesota, during an arrest made after a store clerk suspected Floyd may have used a counterfeit twenty-dollar bill, on May 25, 2020.”
"“Murdered,” eh? “May” have passed a counterfeit bill, you say?
"Well, that’s what we were told.
"It takes a long time for someone to be canonized in the Catholic Church. There is an official process to be followed. Some miracles have to be recorded. One moves from being denominated a Servus Dei, a “servant of God,” to the status of being Venerabilis, to Beatus, and finally Sanctus. It’s much easier and much quicker with our secular saints. All you need is a festering politically correct grievance, a compliant media, and a terrified justice system.
"So it was with the woman-and-drug abusing felon George Perry Floyd Jr. His corpse was not cold before he was elevated to secular sainthood and became the mascot for the Black Lives Matter hooligans who, over the course of a year or more, inflicted more than $2 billion of property damage, injured or maimed scores of people, and released a mesmerizing, racially fortified toxin into the atmosphere that addled the minds and hearts of all the beautiful people who run the country and from which we have yet to recover fully. Last week, on the occasion of Floyd’s birthday, Joe Biden prayed at the shrine, issuing an emetic White House statement “to honor his life and legacy” and urge us “to redeem the soul of America.”
"Back in 2021, Derek Chauvin, along with three of his police colleagues, were offered up as sacrificial lambs by Minneapolis prosecutors. ChaUvin was slapped with federal and well as state convictions and, as I write, is rotting in an Arizona prison for the murder of Floyd." . . .
Our kneeling, remorseful Democrats made a big impression around the world, such as with British writer Sophie Corcoran:
A decent mind - not the mind of a Joe Biden, AOC, Tlaib, or anyone sitting in Congress on the side wearing matching outfits and scowling faces. Like these from the past below. TD

Moral clarity on Israel from Garry Kasparov - American Thinker . . .The fabulously logical chess mind he has, his old Inner Khazar of his Georgian nationality, (the Khazars were known for their love for logic and law), is back.
He made a series of tweets explaining and justifying Israel's war against Hamas with such strength and clarity against all those pro-Hamas goobers out there that I keep going back to them to savor that fine thinking when it seems that much of the civilized world has gone to pot. This is why Israel must fight the war it must fight, destroying Hamas, and that that war is just.
He rocks it with these tweets:
Notice that every attack has some weak excuse for the murders that take place. Most are paper thin. The most recent attack was supposedly because the border wall suppresses them and makes them feel like their lair is an “open air prison.”
. . ."During that first siege of Vienna in 1529, the invading Muslim horde decided that “children were to be cut out of their mother’s wombs and stuck on pikes.” Are we to believe that was just a protest against colonialism or capitalism? When a Muslim chronicle boasted that, during the genocide against the Sikhs in the 18th century, “the shrieks of the women captives who were being raped deafened the ears of the people,” was this a response to globalism or Zionism? Perhaps was this simply Islam.
"In 1929, a Muslim mob attacked the Jewish city of Safed. The attackers burst into an orphanage and “smashed the children’s heads and cut off their hands.” Later that same year, another attack known as the Hebron massacre killed 69 Jews. The event also left scores seriously wounded or maimed. Jewish homes were pillaged, and synagogues were ransacked. Some of the 435 Jews who survived were hidden by local Arab families. The attackers were supposedly triggered to violence by rumors that Jews were planning to seize control of the Temple Mount in Jerusalem."
The Daily Caller . . ."Biden’s initial response to the terrorist organization Hamas’ attack on Israel came under scrutiny from prominent conservative media figures who criticized the president for failing to make frequent public statements while the war raged in the Middle East. But Democratic strategists told the Daily Caller the president has handled the Israel-Hamas war well, giving numerous public appearances and even presenting himself as a strong commander-in-chief.
“I think the president is doing these [press] interviews, and a byproduct of that his team is high-fiving. That look — that this is a man that is cognizant. This is a man that does not seem demented, or have dementia of any kind. This is a man that we see speaking and answering questions, and we’re only seeing an edited version of the interview,” Leslie Marshall told the Daily Caller, adding that the president doesn’t appear to be using notes or stumbling very often in his public appearances.
“You don’t see what people are concerned about attached to the age,” Marshall continued. “I think that’s very important.” "
BIDEN: "I was deeply saddened and outraged by the explosion at the hospital in Gaza yesterday and based on what I've seen, it appears as though it was done by the other team, not you, but there's a lot of people out there not sure, so we gotta overcome a lot of things" pic.twitter.com/rmSgPcCdAd

"Council member Kshama Sawant said the city should not add police resources to the Central District neighborhood after 24 children had to crawl to the bathroom of a daycare facility following a shooting.
"The incident happened on Monday outside of the A-4 Apple Learning Center, with a 47-year-old man being shot on the street.

Diversity has replaced quality as a primary consideration not just in politics but also in the culture
"California governor Gavin Newsom’s recent appointment of Laphonza Butler, a black lesbian, to the late Senator Dianne Feinstein’s seat generated headlines but it wasn’t a surprise. Newsom pledged to appoint a black woman if Senator Feinstein resigned more than two years ago. And so, he was all but required to eliminate roughly 97 percent of California’s population, which is just 6.5 percent black, from consideration straight off the bat. The appointment represents mainstream orthodoxy on the left here and in Europe, where diversity has replaced quality as a primary consideration not just in politics but also in the culture.
"Newsom’s press release about Butler’s appointment led with her intersectional qualifications, detailing how she’ll become “California’s first openly LGBTQ United States Senator and the first black lesbian to openly serve in Congress” before listing her actual qualifications gained during her career as a union leader, political operative and nonprofit executive. The governor didn’t choose any of the existing candidates, infuriating Representative Barbara Lee, an African-American congresswoman who is running for the seat. “The idea that a black woman should be appointed only as a caretaker to simply check a box is insulting to countless black women across this country who have carried the Democratic Party to victory election after election,” Lee said on X.
"Lee’s remarks could be interpreted as sour grapes, but the fact that even an African American in his own party is calling Mr. Newsom out for tokenism is striking. " . . .
. . ."An interesting intellectual exercise mutated into a hostile, sometimes violent opposition to the American system. In effect, the new radicals declared if the change they wanted didn’t come voluntarily they would force it. That evolution toward complete opposition and violence started slowly and accelerated throughout the 1960s.
"The emergence of this anti-American left is important because it has been evolving and growing for over 60 years. The so-called alumni who participated as young activists in the 1960s gradually became networkers and mentors for later generations of leftist activists." . . .
Hundreds of San Francisco High School Students Leave Class to Protest Israel (legalinsurrection.com) "Hundreds of high school students in San Francisco stormed out of class to protest Israel in a rally organized by the Arab Resource and Organizing Center (AROC).
“The Arab Resource & Organizing Center (AROC) holds the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence we’ve witnessed across historic Palestine, declared AROC on its website. “In the face of such violence we recommit ourselves to the struggle for freedom and justice in Palestine, in our region, and globally.”
"Are you shocked that AROC supports and pushes BDS? Yeah, me either.
"The kids chanting the anti-Semitic slogan, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” should send a shiver down your spine.
"The students who participated in the “Student Walkout for Gaza” have had their brains poisoned, making them think Israel bombed the Gaza hospital and killed hundreds of Palestinians: . . ."
The real meaning of ‘From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free’ - JNS.org "The slogan reflects the wishes of Iran and its terror proxies—especially Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) and Hezbollah—to replace Israel with a 57th Islamic state—from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea.
"Iranian leaders and officials have often repeated that their goal is to “wipe Israel off the map.” Recently, Iran’s Foreign Ministry echoed the call by declaring that Jerusalem is “the eternal capital of Palestine, from the river to the sea.”
"On the eve of his recent visit to Syria, Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi repeated his regime’s wish to see Israel removed [from the face of the Earth]."
What’s wrong with “From the River to the Sea, Palestine will be free”? | Israel Institute of NZ . . ."As per David Patterson, the slogan “contains the notion that the land which lies between the River Jordan and the Mediterranean Sea be entirely placed under Arab rule at the cost of the State of Israel”. It therefore directly calls for the dissolution of the State of Israel and refutes the right of the Jewish people to self-determination in our homeland."
The Real Meaning of “From the River to the Sea” (jewishjournal.com) . . ."Unfortunately Munayyer is not interested in these pesky facts and instead relies on the common practice of branding anyone who fears Arab violence a racist Islamophobe: “this logic seeks to caricature us as irrational savages hell-bent on killing Jews,” he writes. Munayyer fails to mention the 750,000 Jews who were violently expropriated and ultimately forced out of the majority of Arab states—including Yemen, Syria, Iraq, Libya, and Egypt—after 1948 because they may have had Zionist sympathies." The resolve of the Free World to defend Israel and all free peoples must not bend or break
"Like its predecessor, Cold War II is an existential threat to free people everywhere; unlike the first Cold War, however, the present one is either denied or downplayed by Western policymakers, corporate titans, academics, among others. There are two main reasons.
"First, the present Authoritarian Axis has learned from the failures of the earlier Cold War’s defeated and defunct enemy, the Soviet Union. Despite Khrushchev’s boasts, the Soviet economy could not compete with America and the West. Communist China, particularly, has leveraged its captive populace to attract Western capital and investment, enriching Free World elites; and, then, using that money to further leverage its control over other western institutions, such as academia.
"Second, Western elites seek to hide their culpability for the policy failures leading to the far from inevitable advent of Cold War II. As noted last year:
"Today, these corporate entities and the “sophisticated” Western diplomats who are more than happy to accommodate their interests have fecklessly restored and strengthened the strategic alliance between Putin’s revanchist Russia and Xi Jinping’s communist China. President Nixon’s strategic vision has been undone; and the present foreign policy establishment’s policy that a “rain of riches” will transform communist China into a democracy is as injuriously illusory as is Putin’s revanchist Russia apologizing to Ukraine and asking to join NATO." . . .

Thousands of British Artists, Actors Condemn Israel, Ignore Hamas War Crimes (legalinsurrection.com)
Between support for Fauci Fascism of extended lockdown+masks+jab mandate, False Russia Collusion hoax narratives, Denial of Hunter Biden pay to play schemes with a kick up % to Joe, Support for BLM, Support for Trans ideology, Uncritical/seemingly endless support for neocon adventures in Ukraine and now supporting Hamas and the people who put them into power ….our political opposition has made themselves very easy to identify. Anyone can be fooled once or even twice but when the same people get behind all of those and then despite clear evidence they were wrong refuse to recant it becomes very clear who can and who cannot be successfully reasoned with. “Hundreds of dead people in Israel are still unidentifiable because of what Hamas terrorists did to their bodies.” (legalinsurrection.com) Video and images slowly being released by Israel show torture and abuse of Israeli living and dead during the initial Hamas attack, including a deceased victim having poles shoved deep into his eye sockets.
Again, though, none of this is a surprise. She isn’t the first socialist megalomaniac to dream of destroying Jews and, sadly, she won’t be the last.
Andrea Widburg - American Thinker "I am second to none in my disrespect for Greta Thunberg. She’s a creepy little mutant, the product of ardent socialist parents, who cured herself of a mental breakdown by terrifying the world’s youth with unfounded predictions of a climate apocalypse that can be cured only by giving her and her fellow travelers unfettered power (and cash). Given her background and affiliations, it comes as no surprise to learn that, in addition to her paranoia and megalomania, she’s also a genocidal antisemite.
What you currently see if you go to Greta’s X thread is a photo of her with three other broken-looking young women, all of them standing on the side of those unfree Palestinians:"
Seems good to Ms. Widberg to show the photo like this. |
