Donald Trump Has Grounds To Sue Letitia James: Fox News Guest "Donald Trump has grounds to sue New York Attorney General Letitia James for violating the former president's civil rights, according to a Fox News contributor.
"Deroy Murdock, a political commentator and regular guest on the conservative news channel, made the remark after a New York appeals court agreed to delay the collection of Trump's $454 million civil fraud penalty stemming from James' lawsuit. The former president was told to pay a bond of $175 million within 10 days instead while he appeals the court's decision.
"In February, Judge Arthur Engoron ruled that Trump had filed fraudulent financial statements for years that inflated the value of his properties and assets to secure favorable terms from lenders. The financial guarantee payment delay granted to Trump on Monday meant James' office could not start the process of seizing his properties.
"Murdock repeated suggestions he made in an article in The American Spectator that Trump should sue James over comments she made in 2018 while running for New York state attorney general. She had said she intended to stand up to the "too male, too pale, too stale" Trump administration.
" 'Now, you could talk about stale ideas, that's fine, but too male and too pale, that constitutes, basically, sex and race discrimination. So I think what President Trump ought to do is sue her on the basis of the 1964 Civil Rights Act," Murdock told Fox News on Tuesday.". . .
Letitia James had to 'eat every single tweet' after appeals court slashed Trump's bond, says Alina Habba (msn.com) "Trump legal spokesperson Alina Habba argued New York Attorney General Letitia James will have to "eat every tweet" she posted after a judge ordered former President Trump to pay $454 million bond in the civil fraud case, saying the decision will ultimately be reversed. Habba reacted to an appeals court slashing the bond to $175 million during "Jesse Watters Primetime," saying the decision restored a "little bit of faith" in the American judicial system.
ALINA HABBA: We didn't win. You know when we'll win? When we get this all reversed, which is what's going to happen. So what happened today was that Letitia had to eat every single tweet she has posted since the day the twisted order from Judge Engoron came out with the ridiculous number, with the disgusting injustice on the American people, not just Donald Trump. And I would love to see what she tweeted today because she was having fun posting the interest on a man who has done nothing wrong, in a family who has done nothing wrong, every single day. And then the Appellate Division came in and said, 'Sorry, due process still exists in America. You still get a right to keep your assets until we get to review what all these lawyers are saying was wrong.' [For] 11 weeks, I have never seen something like I saw in that courtroom. It was a travesty on the justice system, and I am so proud of the Appellate Division for giving us the opportunity. They didn't reverse the case, but they will when they see what we saw. It was a disgrace and today there was a little bit of faith in the American system that I've lost over the past few years."
Trump Derangement Syndrome Meltdown of the Week — Corrupt Lawfare Failure Edition – PJ Media . . ."The combination of Trump hanging around and perpetually confused Joe Biden needing to be led away by the hand from campaign appearances has the Democrats bathing in flop sweat now. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. tacking hard left with his choice of a running mate has only increased their agita.
"This week's TDS Meltdown "winner" is New York Times Opinion columnist Jamelle Bouie. Bouie is generally so ridiculous that I don't even take the time to mock him. The headline for a column he wrote earlier this week is, "No One Is Above the Law, Except, Apparently, Donald Trump."
"It seems that Bouie has never heard of Hunter Biden.
"Jamelle has his Pravda panties in a wad because a sane judge reduced Trump's bond and Wicked Witch of the East Letitia James wasn't able to try and seize Trump's properties.
"Drats! Foiled again!" . . .
