30,000-lb Bunker Buster vs Iran’s Deepest Nuclear Facility

Megaprojects Uncovered  "Can the US's 30,000-lb GBU-57 bunker buster really penetrate Iran’s most secure nuclear facility—Fordow? This underground megaproject lies over 300 feet beneath reinforced rock and concrete. But America’s most powerful non-nuclear MOP was built to break what others can’t.

"In this in-depth documentary, we compare the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator vs Iran’s deepest underground nuclear site. From B-2 stealth delivery tactics to void-sensing smart fuses, this video explores the advanced technology behind bunker-busting operations—and what happens when massive kinetic force meets hardened engineering. "We break down: – Fordow’s construction, depth, and defenses – How the MOP Bunker Buster works and what makes it different – The risks and Chances of failures of such attempt – Why the US hasn’t used it—and what other nations are developing in response "This Video is about engineering, defense innovation, and the global race for underground supremacy." . . .

. . ."But the biggest question is: Could Iran ever shoot down a B‑2 stealth bomber? In this video, we break down:
➤ The unprecedented precision of the June 22 B‑2 strikes ➤ Why Fordo, Natanz, and Isfahan were critical targets ➤ The role of the S‑300, S‑400, and Iran’s air defenses in this escalating crisis ➤ What would happen if a B‑2 were hit — and why it could ignite a larger war ➤ The reality of stealth technology versus modern surface‑to‑air missile threats

Intelligence, Strategy, and the Israeli-Iranian War –

https://spectator.org/

 War on the Rocks

"In either case, the Trump administration should force the conversation rather than simply accepting Israeli judgements about the best way forward. Evaluating the prospects for military options requires good intelligence — and a willingness among policymakers to pay attention."

"States use intelligence to inform their strategic decisions — and to influence their friends. Israel has a long history of passing secret intelligence to the United States in order to win its support, and according to multiple reports, it is trying again. The White House is more likely to join the war against Iran if it accepts Israeli intelligence at face value. But in doing so, it will sacrifice its strategic flexibility and risk losing diplomatic leverage. For a president who cherishes bargaining power, this would be a grave mistake.
"History helps shed light on the relationship between intelligence, strategy, and clandestine diplomacy. In 1967, Israeli officials approached the White House in search of material support in advance of the coming war with Egypt, Syria, and Jordan. To make the case, they shared a pessimistic intelligence analysis of the balance of forces and the danger of fighting a Soviet-backed alliance that surrounded Israel on all sides. President Lyndon B. Johnson had offered rhetorical support, but they wanted much more.
"Although the administration had reasons to avoid entanglement in a Middle Eastern war, Johnson was sufficiently concerned to ask the CIA for its assessment of the looming conflict. The agency predicted that Israel would win decisively and quickly. Armed with this analysis, Johnson parried Israeli requests. “All of our intelligence people are unanimous that if [Egypt] attacks,” he told the Israeli foreign minister, “you will whip hell out of them.”
"The CIA got it right. The famously lopsided war began with an Israeli surprise attack and ended six days later with a comprehensive Israeli victory. Johnson limited military support and avoided U.S. intervention, managing to spare the country from involvement in another war at a time when public opposition to Vietnam was increasing.
"A similar story is playing out today. Israeli officials are making ominous statements about Iran’s nuclear capability. Invoking the Holocaust, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared that a comprehensive attack on Iran’s nuclear infrastructure was needed to stave off disaster, “We can’t leave these threats for the next generation,” he said, “if we don’t act now, there won’t be a next generation.” And as was the case in 1967, Israel has reportedly shared intelligence on Iranian nuclear research and its progress towards the bomb.

Trump Blasts AOC Over Impeachment Threat

NEWSMAX

Many Republicans have warned that if the Democrats can seize the House in the 2026 midterms, it is almost certain the president will be impeached a third time.

"President Donald Trump slammed Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., on Tuesday after the congresswoman called for the impeachment of the president over his ordering of strikes against Iran's Fordo nuclear facility over the weekend.

" 'Stupid AOC, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, one of the "dumbest" people in Congress, is now calling for my Impeachment, despite the fact that the Crooked and Corrupt Democrats have already done that twice before," Trump posted on his Truth Social platform.

"Almost immediately following the airstrikes on Iran on Saturday evening, Ocasio-Cortez posted, " 'The President's disastrous decision to bomb Iran without authorization is a grave violation of the Constitution and Congressional War Powers."

"She added, "He has impulsively risked launching a war that may ensnare us for generations. It is absolutely and clearly grounds for impeachment."

"Trump offered lengthy comments against not only Ocasio-Cortez but hard left-wing colleagues Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn.; and Rep. Jasmine Crockett, D-Texas, as well saying that Ocasio-Cortez was slightly more intelligent.

" 'Crockett, who is a seriously Low IQ individual, or Ilhan Omar, who does nothing but complain about our Country, yet the Failed Country that she comes from doesn't have a Government, is drenched in Crime and Poverty, and is rated one of the WORST in the World, if it's even rated at all."

" 'Instead of her constant complaining, Alexandria should go back home to Queens, where I was also brought up, and straighten out her filthy, disgusting, crime ridden streets, in the district she "represents," and which she never goes to anymore," Trump continued.". . .

Pride Month in Maine

Maine Rep Laurel Libby reacts to trans athlete that sparked her SCOTUS battle skipping state championship   . . ."Our girls’ opportunities and podium placements should be decided by their hard work and performance, not the whims of others. All Maine girls should have the guarantee of a fair, safe and level playing field, which is not the case as long as our laws allow biological males to participate in girls’ sports."

"Fox News Digital has reached out to Greely High School for comment.

Female athletes took all the major medals in Maine's girls' track and field finals events Tuesday, after the competition was delayed from Saturday due to weather.

It marked the end of a contentious track and field season for the state, as the Greely High School trans athlete and another one representing North Yarmouth Academy competed against the backdrop of political conflict.

Maine's current laws have resulted in girls across the state expressing outrage, as at least two trans athletes have won competitions in track and field, cross-country and Nordic skiing in recent years." . . .

Hours After Trump Declares Ceasefire, Iran Denies Agreement, Blames Israel for Starting War

This should immerse CNN, MSNBC, Democrats in waves of joy. TD

Sarah Arnold/ Townhall

"Just hours after President Donald Trump announced a ceasefire between Israel and Iran, Tehran made it clear who they believe started this conflict, blaming Israel for launching the war, not the other way around. Iran insisted there is no official agreement on any ceasefire or halt to military actions. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that if Israel does not cease its “illegal aggression” against Iran by 4 a.m. Tehran time, their response will continue. Iran said the final decision on stopping its military operations would be made later.

" 'As of now, there is NO ‘agreement’ on any ceasefire or cessation of military operations,” Araghchi wrote. “However, provided that the Israeli regime stops its illegal aggression against the Iranian people no later than 4 am Tehran time, we have no intention to continue our response afterwards."

" 'Together with all Iranians, I thank our brave Armed Forces who remain ready to defend our dear country until their last drop of blood, and who responded to any attack by the enemy until the very last minute,” Araghchi said.

"This was the first official remarks by Iran to Trump’s claimed ceasefire between Iran and Israel." . . .

AOC Should Be 'Tried for Treason' Over Trump Impeachment Calls: Giuliani - Newsweek    Democrats calling for President Donald Trump to be impeached over the U.S.'s military strikes on Iran should be "tried for treason," Rudy Giuliani has said.

"The former mayor of New York, an ardent supporter of the president, made the comment on Newsmax's Sunday Agenda after Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York known as AOC, criticized Trump's decision to bomb Iran as "clearly grounds for impeachment."

"Newsweek has contacted representatives for Giuliani and Ocasio-Cortez for comment by email outside standard working hours.

"Why It Matters

"On Saturday, the president announced strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities in Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan in response to the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, a U.S. ally. On June 13, Israel struck Tehran, Iran's capital, and other cities to disrupt its nuclear capabilities, and Iran retaliated with strikes of its own, the majority of which were intercepted by Israeli defense systems." . . .

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, a Republican from Georgia, also criticized Ocasio-Cortez, writing on X on Saturday: "Shut up you pathetic little hypocrite. YOU fully supported our military and IC running the proxy war against Russia in Ukraine. And you VOTED to fund the Ukraine war under your President with dementia. You don't get to play anti-war and moral outrage anymore."

White House slams Al Green for fourth attempt to impeach Trump

. . ."But while Ocasio-Cortez and Green float impeachment talk, some powerful House Democrats have downplayed such efforts, including House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, House Judiciary ranking member Jamie Raskin (D-MD), and Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA), the chair of the House Democratic Caucus.

"Others, such as Rep. Becca Balint (D-VT), have warned that trying to impeach Trump is a waste a time as it would be nearly impossible to pass due to a lack of votes needed to implement such a measure, given the GOP holds the majority in both chambers of Congress.

"Moderate Democrats such as Sen. Ruben Gallego (D-AZ), who hail from battleground states where voters are more likely to have a favorable view of Trump, have called impeachment pushes “stupid politics.” Even Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) in April declined to pursue articles of impeachment against Trump. Iran Proves It: TDS Is An Incurable Disease

 Issues & Insights

"That led Rep. Mike Lawler, R-N.Y., to respond: “Barack Obama attacked Libya, Syria, Pakistan, Yemen during his tenure, and never once did they call for impeachment. So, these folks are truly reaching new levels of Trump derangement in the aftermath of yesterday’s decision.”

You can almost hear those suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome pondering this question as they struggle to absorb the spectacular success President Donald Trump just achieved in Iran.

"They’ve already given their answer.

"Before the dust had a chance to settle over Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan, leading never-Trumper David Frum declared “Right move, wrong team.” (As though this attack would have been better carried out by the dimwit Frum voted for in the last election.)

“Trump did the right thing, but he did that right thing in the wrongest possible way: without Congress, without competent leadership in place to defend the United States against terrorism, and while waging a culture war at home against half the nation,” Frum writes from his perch in the Trump-loathing Atlantic magazine. “Trump has not put U.S. boots on the ground to fight Iran, but he has put U.S. troops on the ground for an uninvited military occupation of California.”

"This is the same David Frum who, when Barack Obama was negotiating his horrid deal with Iran, declared that “A nuclear weapons-capable Iran is a priority-one threat to U.S. and Western interests in the Gulf area. That’s the thing we need to stop.”

"It’s the same David Frum who confidently predicted – on Saturday, the day Trump dropped the bombs – that Trump would “chicken out” when it came to attacking Iran, partly because of his “unwillingness to ever do anything that Putin does not want.”

"Then Trump achieved what Frum said was job No. 1 and what no president before him was willing to do. And Trump did it without boots on the ground. He did it without suffering U.S. casualties. He did it in close coordination with Israel. He did it in a way that, with the use of brilliant misdirection, surprised everyone, including David Frum.

"And Frum’s first instinct is to decry Trump’s (court-sanctioned) use of National Guard troops to quell riots in Los Angeles sparked by Trump’s (perfectly legal) efforts to deport violent felons who entered the country illegally?" . . .

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna Warns of National Security Threat After Interception of Iranian Nationals Near U.S. Coast   . . ."Meanwhile, questions swirl about how such infiltration attempts are even possible.

"Critics blame border policies under former President Joe Biden, citing data that over 1,200 Iranian nationals were allowed into the U.S. during his tenure.

"Luna and others argue that these lapses may have opened doors for radicals to exploit, according to Trending Politics.

"In January, the threat of homegrown terrorism was tragically confirmed when Shamsud-Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old extremist, drove a truck into a crowd on Bourbon Street in New Orleans, killing 14 people. " . . .

‘Midnight Hammer’ Doesn’t Mean Iran Can’t Hurt Us; Iran should have no difficulty organizing cells among the millions of radicalized Muslim migrants in Europe or illegals in the US.

The American Spectator

"A former head of Venezuela’s SEBIN says a Venezuelan air force general who became ambassador to Tehran, negotiated the installation of assembly plants for Iranian strike drones in Venezuela where clandestine IRGC flights have been landing secret cargo and personnel for years to develop a capability for human stealth bombers."

. . . "Serbia’s ruling goons also lacked the terrorist zeal of Iran’s fanatical mullahs and their highly indoctrinated military caste in the IRGC. Faith in martyrdom and self-immolation runs deep in their groupthink and religious conditioning and they will rely on fear and panic as a main weapon until their last breath.

"Despite Israel’s claims of eliminating the IRGC high command as well as “replacements and the replacements of the replacements,” according to Benjamin Netanyahu, Iran’s regime remains far from dead. Islamic terrorist groups like Al-Qaeda have remained active despite repeated decapitations of its leadership and destruction of its operating bases during more than two decades.

"Israel may have complete dominance over Iranian skies, having totally neutralized Iran’s 1970s vintage air force and air defenses consisting mostly of outdated Russian S-200 SAM systems. Although a good part of Iran’s highly perfected hypersonic missiles may have been used up in daily barrages against Israel and many more destroyed by air strikes, the mullahs retained the capacity to deliver a devastating response to the weekend strikes on its nuclear facilities. The IRGC unleashed its most potent Khoramshar-4 missiles with 3,300 pound warheads, kept in reserve until now, destroying entire city blocks and a biological warfare research center in Tel Aviv.

"It’s calculated that about half of Iran’s missile launchers have been taken out but estimates vary. Israeli defense spokesmen were saying some days ago that 40 percent were destroyed while some officers claimed they had hit two thirds. The official calculations may include fixed launchers. Mobile launchers are far more difficult to target, proving elusive in past wars.

"During the 1990 Gulf War in which the U.S. led coalition had complete air dominance over Iraq as well as special forces hunting for Saddam Hussein’s Scud missiles on the ground, very few were neutralized. Iraq’s Scud launchers kept firing until hours before the armistice, when a missile hit a U.S. army outpost, killing over 20 Americans.

"A couple of hits like that on the target rich environment of U.S. bases in the Middle East would be bad television for Trump, triggering hysterical responses from Democrats and some of his own supporters fearing his entry into a new “forever war.” But the Iranians may not choose that route for the moment as it  could justify more B2 raids which its military would have difficulty withstanding without material support from Russia and China. Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi is flying to Moscow to meet with Putin on Monday after the deputy chairman of his security council, Dmitri Medvedev, said that “a number of countries are ready to supply Iran with their own nuclear warheads.”

"An Iranian diplomat in Europe said last week that if America “fired one bullet into Iran” they would retaliate against U.S. military bases. But Iran’s response is likely to remain focused, at least for the moment, on hammering Israel, whose civilian population the Mullahs see as hostages." . . .

Can the Left Ever Stop Its Craziness?

 Victor Davis Hanson

"And the more the Left damns Trump as a racist, the more he wins unprecedented black and Hispanic support. In recent Rasmussen tracking polls, Trump garnered 54% approval from black voters and 53% from Hispanics."

"California Sen. Alex Padilla recently crashed a press conference by Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem. He deliberately wore no identification. He gave no advance warning that he would disrupt her briefing.

"Instead, Padilla barged forward to the podium, shouting about the deportation of illegal aliens.

"Immediately, Padilla got his media moment wish—once Secret Service agents, who had no idea who Padilla was, forcibly removed him.

"Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., recently attempted a pseudo-filibuster, speaking nonstop for 25 hours straight—not to delay legislation, but to fixate on President Donald Trump.

"South Carolina Democrat state Rep. Julie von Haefen just posted on social media an image of a bloody guillotine. It bore the title “In these difficult times, some cuts may be necessary” and was juxtaposed with an image of a hanging, beheaded Trump, who, a year ago, was the target of two failed assassination attempts.

"The more Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and California Gov. Gavin Newsom scream at Trump for nationalizing the California Guard to stop Los Angeles’ nightly violent anti-ICE protests, the more the two appear on the side of those who riot, destroy property, and attack police.

"Yet who really wants to side with illegal aliens who spit on and burn American flags while waving Mexican flags?" . . .

Run, Gavin, Run

American Greatness  "Even if California can’t be saved yet, Gavin Newsom’s vain march toward the White House may finally torch the progressive lunacy he helped unleash."

That kind of hubris does crazy things to people. Kamala Harris boasted a similar record. She not only won every election; in her first (in 2003), she defeated an incumbent progressive DA in San Francisco … because he was not progressive enough!

California electorate

I was born in California and have a firsthand view of the damage done to the Golden State under sixteen years of Democratic trifecta rule.
"Yet, for all the troubles, I don’t plan on leaving unless:
California joins Canada
The Democratic Party starts building concentration camps
Criminals get elected to every major office in the state
"Also, I have many reasons to hope for my home state. Recent electoral victories are chipping away at California’s woke madness, and even the woke Angelenos and San Franciscans who insisted on voting left are tired of getting left behind in their brazen destruction. They want a change. One of the worst, wokest county district attorneys in the country (LA County District Attorney George Gascon) lost his job last year in a total rout. Republican-turned-common-sense-independent DA Nathan Hochman took his place, and he is cleaning house, even more conservative than the DA who preceded Gascon. San Francisco’s BLM-on-steroids mayor, London Breed, lost to the more centrist (at least by San Francisco standards) Levi-Strauss heir Daniel Lurie, who is trying to restore some semblance of law and order to the city.
"Even former Democratic Sheriff of LA County, Alex Villanueva, moved to the right when his deputies started getting assassinated. He resisted the COVID-19 lockdown orders during his tenure. This year, he reregistered as a Republican, rejecting the party of “paid protests, purple hair, and pronouns.”
"What about the current governor?
"Gavin Newsom, who as mayor of San Francisco appointed George Gascon to replace Kamala Harris as San Francisco District Attorney, is the real train wreck. He’s presided over and accelerated the epic, public collapse of our once Golden State.
The state’s budget has ballooned on his watch, while Californians are fleeing as fast as they can every day. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he locked down businesses, ordered mask mandates across the state, and released prisoners early. He deemed pot shops and the porn shops essential businesses, but he ordered the churches, charities, and legitimate businesses closed. Unreal! He gives food, medical care, and schooling to illegal aliens, while everyday citizens clamor for justice and a decent living, and get neither. He’s the face—hair gel and all—for California’s failure today."  . . .

Who Is This Guy, Wesley Hunt? He Destroyed Bill Maher on His Own Show, Along With Clintonista Paul Begala

 RedState

Maher usually refers to January 6 as an “insurrection” without pushback. It’s happened a thousand times, but not today. @WesleyHuntTX rose to the moment and asked, “How do you have an insurrection with no guns?”

"In case you weren’t aware, Rep. Wesley Hunt is a West Point graduate and former Army Apache helicopter pilot, who flew combat missions in Iraq and earned the rank of Captain before entering politics.

He’s served as the Republican Rep. for Texas’s 38th District since 2023.

"Comedian and pundit Bill Maher, a guy who’s right on the money once in a while compared to his progressive compatriots in Hollywood but still oh-so-wrong on so many of the issues of the day, invited Texas GOP Rep. Wesley Hunt on his HBO show “Real Time” on Friday.

"I’m guessing he wishes he hadn’t, because Hunt absolutely embarrassed the left-leaning host and his other guest, longtime Clintonista and progressive apologist Paul Begala.

"It wasn’t pretty, but it was very satisfying:"  . . .

Peace through strength first requires strength . . .

Earick Ward  . . ."Lastly, it has been reported that the president briefed top Republican lawmakers prior to the strike, but didn’t notify Congressional Democrat leadership.

While there will be a lot of hand-wringing and pearl-clutching over this attack, and AOC is already fund-raising over calls for impeachment, President Trump and his cabinet, as well as the outstanding men and women that serve in our Armed Forces, executed this strike with precision, guile, and lethality." . . .

Trump Is No TACO After All: Surprise Iran Attack Proves He Means What He Says   "No sooner did President Trump give Iran “up to two weeks” to agree to go into serious negotiations to strip the ancient Persian nation’s ability to make and use nuclear weapons, his far left critics immediately revived the nickname “TACO.”

"This is the latest cute, smart-ass Wall Street-turned-leftist slang; this time it’s short for “Trump Always Chickens Out.”

"This came from a gross misunderstanding of his use of publicly announced way-high tariffs as a means of negotiating reasonable, low, tariffs.

"Of course, the critics started TACO before Trump proved them wrong by lowering the tariffs through successful bilateral negotiations.  But it was too “cute” and too beloved by the formerly mainstream – news media to go away.  Especially since nothing else has worked, they’re desperate to have something they can call Trump that will both “stick” and actually do him some harm.

"So, when Trump gave Iran “up to two weeks” to restart negotiations, the left immediately dusted off the TACO calumny as if it was a proven fact, instead of a misinterpretation of Trump’s highly-effective negotiating process." . . .

Trump just took back what Obama gave Iran

. . ."But Trump is a peacemaker. While Barack may have thought that Iran having nukes ensured peace (although how I don’t know), he gave Iran the wherewithal to carry out its threats. It has taken this long to get to the point where Iran is almost able to vaporize us and Israel. Should we have waited until Iran was poised above the button to strike?

"Trump has just reversed Obama’s Islamophilic, deadly mistake and taken back Iran’s nuclear capability. He has also telegraphed in no uncertain terms that there is more to come unless Iran and its proxies stop rattling their sabres and killing Jews, Christians, and other “infidels” around the world. Stop targeting America and Israel, and we might let you alone."

Trump’s precise, carefully calibrated strike sends a strong message   . . .That’s the Trump Doctrine in action: strength without entanglement, deterrence without invasion, and moral clarity without globalist delusion.

"He’s not a warmonger. He’s a dealmaker. But if you threaten America or her allies, he won’t blink. He’ll act.

"And that’s what terrifies the establishment.

The real crisis isn’t that President Trump took action—it’s that the same D.C. class that appeased Iran for decades is now pretending to care about constitutional limits. They’re not defending the law. They’re defending their legacy of weakness.

"The media didn’t flinch when Obama armed radicals in Libya—but now they’re clutching pearls over a justified, targeted strike.

"This wasn’t a march to war—it was the return of something Washington forgot: American strength, unleashed without apology."

Broc Smith
